Mitzi is absolutely wonderful to work with and will help you truly enjoy your wedding day. She was always available to answer our questions. Day or night. And she also never made me feel like a bridezilla for being very particular, which is a huge plus. As someone who has a background in event planning I was disillusioned into thinking I would be able to handle the task of planning and coordinating my own wedding. BOY WAS I WRONG. Mitzi asks the critical questions you will not find on The Knot or Pinterest. Specific timeline details that you may not think of until much later in the planning process. Although we had a rain plan in place for the day of the wedding, I was not willing to give up on having my dream outdoor ceremony. Despite there being high odds of rain for our wedding day, I wanted to take a chance and try to make the outdoor ceremony happen. Thanks to Mitzi's expert planning, we were able to setup for the ceremony inside and outside and make the call only 30 minutes before the wedding. It rained so hard that the power went out in the bridal suite and Mitzi was still able to pull off nothing short of a miracle. In addition to coordinating with every single one of our vendors to ensure a seamless evening, Mitzi also went to bat for us whenever she could. Whether it was negotiating with our caterer to ensure certain rental items were included in our contract or disputing charges from the transportation company for a town car that failed to show up, I knew I could trust Mitzi to handle everything. Seriously, if you don't want to drive your family, bridesmaids, and future husband crazy with your nonsensical ramblings about first dances and place settings, do yourself a favor and hire Mitzi Torres. You will not regret it. Sincerely, Stress-Free Bride

Bethany Thomas and En Pointe Weddings is truly amazing. Bethany was with us from the very…read morebeginning, right after the proposal in April 2017, a full year before our wedding. She made a 70 page PDF packet (WHAT!!!) of all the wedding venues that fit our budget and aesthetic in Austin for our budget. (We are based out of Chicago, so this was a destination wedding by all accounts.) Bethany hosted countless phone calls with myself and my partner about design palettes (she even made a slideshow for us to help visualize) and helped us through some really difficult vendors. For example, AFTER we booked a wedding venue and paid deposits, the venue CLOSED with just a few months before the big day. Bethany sprang into action and found us an even BETTER venue. Also, we booked a flight into Austin to work with a caterer, and he cancelled last minute. Bethany, again - the super hero that she is - found us a better caterer, and even scheduled a tasting during the time when the original vendor left us hanging. She came to both of our fittings, as this was a double bride ceremony. She talked me down from my personal freak-out about dress choices. She made a budget, a schedule, e-introduced all vendors, kept a very rosé-drunk "I Do Crew" (sorry about that) on task during our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner with grace and a smile. She made great suggestions (taking 15 minutes to ourselves post-vows, the flow of the wedding, etc) and was always by our side. She shoo'ed people away so we could have our last private dance, and was warm and welcoming throughout. I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing she is. I would be THRILLED to act as a reference for her at any point. PLEASE don't hesitate to contact me! Bethany is the best, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. We used her for the Full Service Package - and it saved our lives!

I had gone through tons of wedding magazines and pulled out pictures of what I liked but quickly realized that my tastes were kind of all over the place and a bit more expensive than I could afford. During my first meeting with Kellye, we sat down and she had me show her pictures of what I liked. I was worried she was going to be overwhelmed by my wide spectrum but, without batting an eye, she said it wasn't a problem at all! By mixing and matching, she was able to incorporate little bites of everything I wanted, all the while sticking to my budget. The flowers she provided at both my rehearsal dinner and on my wedding day were beyond gorgeous. From the boutonnieres to the mother's bouquets, I loved what she had done for each one. As the ultimate seal of approval, even my dad (who couldn't have cared less about the flowers) commented on how much he liked his boutonniere. Beautiful, beautiful work!

We paid her upfront and in months advance.  We had 90% of everything planned out months before the big day. She was responsive and communicated quickly in the first few weeks and then absolutely nothing in the months after. So on the big day we were hopeful the flowers and decorations were just delayed a little. Nope, the food, flowers, decorations never arrived. THE ONLY things that went right were the services we paid for and were not under her control. Instead we had to pay additional out of pocket to feed the guests and no one got to eat til 9. I never saw any appetizers for cocktail hour. Food service was horrendous, because the guests ONLY had an open bar. All of our sober guests stayed thirsty that night. So I paid full price for a wedding and received half of it. We tried to be as kind and considerate as we could, but kindness should not be taken as a sign of weakness. You only get one true first wedding, spend your money elsewhere or forever remember how terribly bad your wedding goes. Now she continues to evade our written contractual refund.

Their service was phenomenal! As with all events whenever there is more than 1 person involved, there can be miscommunication/ misunderstandings, my daughter's wedding was no exception. But what was most impressive was the ease of communication to correct, adjust and move on without damage to the rapport and comradery of the relationship. The genuine joy for my daughter and my son-in-love's wedding remained intact. This is true professionalism. Another worthy note was the compassion extended when an unforeseen situation occurred. While being able to pivot, is a necessary skill to have in the event planning industry, doing so with grace and compassion is a gift that cannot be taught. To Ravin, Amanda, and your entire team for your dedication and ALL of your hard work: May God's mercy and grace relentlessly pursue you, overtake and overwhelm you, with HIS abundant love, peace and joy. My Husband best man failed to show she calmed me and worked around all the changes we made last minute. She took a very good photo of my husband and I on our send off with my polaroid that i just love. She even remembered everything that i forgot. She communicated well with all my vendors and took the worrying off my shoulders. She kept us on schedule and when we veered off she reassured that it was ok.
