Theres a reason this business has 5 stars and I can see why…read more I was referred to Randy for cylinder head work for my Corolla. Consulted him with what my issue was and told him what I wanted done and he tore the head down and was able to tell me what he found and gave me a very fair price so I approved it and got my cylinder head back looking brand new. He was also very helpful for talking with me trying to figure out the noise I was hearing from my motor before I took it apart. Thats when I could tell he had years of experience under his belt. In the end the refresh to my head and motor was all it needed and I'm very grateful for Randy's work and knowledge.

I had overtightened a reverse threaded impeller bolt that was attached to a pool motor. The head…read moreof the bolt had started to round so I couldn't unscrew it. I brought the motor to Rk Industries and asked if he could loosen the bolt. Fortunately for me the bolt also had a flat head screw driver head as well. He worked on the bolt a little bit with an impact driver and was able to loose the bolt enough so that the impeller would come off. Like the earlier commentor, this business is hard to find as it is located amongst several other commercial businesses. The cost of the service was very reasonable and if he wasn't able to get the impeller off, I was looking at purchasing a new impeller and a new backing plate to attach to the new motor.

I called knowing they didn't have any in stock since nobody ever does when a Hurricane comes. They suggested that I pre-purchase the EU2200i that I was looking for. That way I was in line when the next batch came in. Fast forward 2 weeks (Just after Lowell) and they told me they were due in that day and call the next day before coming down to make sure they arrived. I did and Noah told me to come in and see him. I did go see Noah immediately and sure enough, got my EU2200i. A very nice lady customer asked me if I was going to have them pre-test it. I had not thought of that so I asked and both Garrett and Noah both assured me they would put oil in it, a little gas and give it a test. I offered to buy the Oil and was told no worries. They did set it up and test it so and I walked out the door with a set up, pre-tested Generator. At a time when Tropical Storm Norbert was looking like it was going to be another Hurricane. It was most refreshing to have a store take the proper time to make sure all was right in such a hectic time. Getting a Generator's during Hurricane time (or Possible) is a tough thing and these folks were the best !!! Special shout out to Garrett during the buy and later in the pick up, and Noah for FIRST CLASS SERVICE !!!!

I needed a new lawn mower because the Dewalt mower I bought from Home Depot 4 years ago died. I…read morefigured instead of investing hundreds again in another big box store purchase, it was time to buy a reliable Honda mower instead. After some research, I found that Aloha Power equipment was the place to go to find what I needed. This location is in a warehouse right behind the Costco gas station on Alakawa Street. I asked for help at the cashier/parts counter and the young man confirmed that they had the model I was looking for in stock. He went in the back to get it and had it unboxed, assembled, and ready to go for me in about 10 minutes. I really appreciated that this saved me the hassle of getting that done and having to dispose of the box at home. He also offered to help me load it in the car. The price I paid for the mower was reasonably higher than what I found online and about what I expected. You have to account for the cost they incur having to ship this stuff here. Like a lot of places these days they also charge a 3% credit card fee. As an authorized Honda power equipment dealer, they also supply replacement parts and warranty service. It gives me some peace of mind knowing that I can bring my very expensive new mower here if I have problems during and after the warranty period.

Casey kept in great touch with me regarding the process from start to finish. What I really liked about the business is their commitment to ensure that they are doing exactly what the customer is asking for. They do this with a pre-construction meeting. Jimmy also checks in with you after each day and updates you on any recommended changes or unforeseen circumstances. They do not do any work without prior approval. Jimmy actually finished the job early even with additional change that I requested last minute. He also does the work all himself and I am very impressed with that. He also ensures to secure the area before working (ie. cones, secures vehicle tire, etc.). He is very clean and helped to put things back in place after construction. The job we requested was to secure our huge swinging gate (he replaced hinges and created a platform for the gate to rest on when open), replace 4 rusted poles and raise the foot so water couldn't get to it, and add two more poles to help support the roof. Quality and value are there and I am super appreciative of the work! Thank you both!
