I was overwhelmed with grief, confusion, and emotional pain. That first session with Lynda was absolutely life-changing. I experienced powerful physical reactions, vivid visions, and a sense of energetic release I hadn't known was possible. I am so curious about the training and experience necessary to become as highly perceptive as Rebecca is. I may not have been *cured* the same day (nor did I expect to be), but she gave me a hell of a jump start and tools to carry with me. All the negative reviews. It's pretty hypocritical for someone to claim to empower women but then actively harm and silence them. Anyhow, here is my original review: My therapist, Lindsay Fahey, terminated me after I expressed a minor concern about her behavior, citing transference. This exacerbated my trauma surrounding being abandoned and punished for advocating for myself. Her actions after I brought up the initial concern were hurtful, inappropriate, and unethical. For instance: * dismissing and insulting my trauma and concerns by calling it "baggage" * making an inappropriate comment about being in a romantic relationship with me * acting as if she knew me better than I know myself, like when I said I was scared but she decided I was actually angry * calling my natural hair "disheveled" * retaliating against me because she assumed a comment I made about a personal loss over the weekend was about her * violating my privacy when she pretended to still be my therapist (after she had terminated me) so she could get my protected healthcare information from my other healthcare provider * falsifying my medical records to say that I had terminated the relationship once she found out I had filed a complaint with DORA due to the privacy violation All of this caused me significant distress, set back my therapeutic process, and compounded the trauma she was supposed to be helping with. And my response to her reply: I believe that someone who acts unethically and inappropriately isn't a good fit for anyone, Kim. But it's clearly a modus operandi for you. As you well know--and as I know from reading Lindsay's notes--Lindsay met with you about terminating me before ever meeting with me about my concern. She never intended to resolve any issues. She made that undoubtedly clear when I asked her why we couldn't work through this and she said, "I've tried to work through client concerns many times before, and it never gets better."

When I reached out to RedPoint for mental health support, I was met with an immediate violation of…read moremy rights. Tonya Ramirez told me outright that no service dogs were allowed -- a clear breach of federal law under the ADA. When I calmly educated the staff on service dog protections, rather than acknowledging the error and moving forward, the situation escalated in a way that felt punitive. Ashley converted my straightforward intake into an in-person interrogation-style interview. Taylor then withheld permission for Ashley to schedule my actual intake appointment, pushing my care back two full weeks. For someone seeking mental health support, two weeks is not a minor inconvenience. It can feel like an eternity. What troubles me most is the question this raises: if a facility cannot follow well-established federal disability law, one of the most basic legal protections afforded to people with disabilities, what confidence can patients have that other standards of care are being upheld? A mental health facility should be a place of safety, dignity, and compassion. What I experienced was the opposite. I cannot in good conscience recommend RedPoint to anyone seeking professional mental health care in Longmont.

1 Star I would not…read morerecommend The Redpoint Center for someone seeking treatment specifically for mental health concerns without a substance use component. Although Redpoint presents itself as treating both mental health and substance use, my experience was that much of the curriculum and treatment approach felt heavily centered around substance use. As someone dealing with mental health concerns rather than substance use, I often felt that the programming was not well aligned with what I actually needed. What was particularly disappointing was reaching a point where I needed additional support and being told that residential treatment was the appropriate level of care, despite being unable to pursue residential at this time. Rather than feeling supported in finding an alternative level of care that addressed my mental health needs, I felt abandoned by a program and community I had trusted. Mental health treatment needs to recognize that not every person struggling is struggling with substance use. The distinction matters, and treatment should feel individualized rather than built primarily around one population. Based on my experience, I would encourage someone seeking treatment solely for mental health to carefully consider whether Redpoint's approach and curriculum are actually suited to their needs before enrolling.
