She was helping me to overcome general anxiety, and I think she really did help in getting me better. Included in the sessions were a mixture of talking about what I was worrying about, then using either EMDR, chinosis or hypnosis on it. Every step of the way she made me feel as comfortable as possible and explained everything that we were doing together. Despite suffering really badly with anxiety she made me feel calmer and I always left the sessions feeling better (always a good sign, who would go to a therapist of any kind to leave feeling worse!?) After failing to make an operation appointment due to having a meltdown on the eve, when the next date was set, I worked with Deane for an intensive 6 week course to help get myself under the anaesthetic.
