i can confirm that jenny is one of the kindest person i have met. she has great teaching skills and has compassion and empathy which is required in reiki. her cabin is set in peaceful surroundings and you feel very calm and relaxed. if anyone is thinking about attending a reiki course, jenny is the one to help you on your journey read more

Reiki Courses I offer a range of courses, from the First Degree course (Shoden) through to Second Degree (Okuden) and Master/Teacher level. The Reiki Courses are held over two days, and students who travel from various parts of the country stay over night at a local B&B. The teaching of Reiki is a time of Student and Master coming together. The relationship between the Student and Teacher form a special bond, one that is supportive to both of them. It's a time of maintaining a relationship that continues to empower the student; encouraging students to find their own answers deep inside themselves. When we change our way of thought we can truly experience oneness with all things, becoming one with man and nature. To get to this point we need to de-clutter and throw out all the old unwanted negativity and allow new growth, new seeds to create peace within ourselves.

About Jenny Newman I teach the original Japanese Reiki in the Usui tradition in its simplest form, uncluttered and powerful, covering also some Western teachings. Courses are generally held in my cabin located in a sleepy Wiltshire hamlet near Chippenham, overlooking lovely, open countryside creating a calm and peaceful environment. The Course is usually held over a weekend, or by arrangement, they are very informal and enjoyable with every opportunity for discussion. You will be introduced to exercises enabling you to experience different levels of energy, meditation and tuition on the history of Reiki. Time is given for quiet and contemplation, when Reiki is experienced for the first time it is a very special emotion and not to be hurried! I have practised Reiki for fifteen years and became a Teacher seven years ago. I am a graduated of the International House of Reiki which is a non-profit association, its aims & vision is to support and promote the Japanese art of Reiki.

Good Morning Jenny I just wanted to say thank you for a lovely weekend and for welcoming me into your home to learn about Reiki and partake in the Shoden Level One Course. It was such a safe and nurturing environment and so lovely to attend a course with other likeminded individuals. From the moment I saw your website I knew that I wanted to learn with you. All the information contained on the site is unbiased and easy to follow and the way in which you explain things is so easy to understand. The days seemed to fly by with a wonderful balance of discussion, meditation, practice and plenty of group sharing and hugs. Even the torrential rain added to the lovely atmosphere of the cabin at the bottom of the garden (my log shed just doesn't have the same atmosphere - although it does have more spiders) I'm not sure how I feel at the moment, part of me wants to tell everyone about the weekend and part of me wants to keep it all to myself. I have already completed my first self-treatment at 3am this morning - I'm not sure why but I have been up since 2.30 - just couldn't sleep and had a head full of stuff. I have great clarity and motivation to get things done this morning and the bird song really does sound louder this morning - although I am struggling to see my usual colours. From the moment I saw Jenny's website I knew that I wanted to learn with her. All the information contained on the site is unbiased and easy to follow and the way in which Jenny explains things to you when you call or email a question is so easy to understand. Welcoming you into her home, Jenny provides a safe and nurturing environment in which to learn. The course days fly by with a wonderful balance of discussion, meditation, practice and plenty of group sharing and hugs. When I did my Shoden (Level 1) even the torrential rain added to the lovely atmosphere of the cabin at the bottom of the garden. Once you complete a course, it doesn't stop there you can attend Reiki Shares, return to sit in on any course that you have completed to refresh at no additional cost and will have a lifelong mentor, guide, sounding board and friend in Jenny not to mention the annual retreat and network of students. I can't recommend Jenny and Connect with Reiki highly enough and look forward to studying Shinpiden (Level 3) with Jenny some day soon.
