Terrible service, poor service. I called to request a self paid consultation due to a 6cm cyst ( urgent consultation) the secretary told me without any care that the next availability would be January 10th . She asked me a couple questions and in in the end made me feel stupid by repeating that the next availability is January 10th. So not a serious business and not care AT ALL for patients. After reading many phenomenal reviews I was excited to see Dr. Thompson and or Michelle Harsh. I called the glades office and got hung up on three times after abruptly being told to hold. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and dismissive. It's a shame because I was willing to wait until March or April for the nearest available. Third time IS a charm! After going to two different gynecologists, I finally found one that is truly amazing. I called as a new patient to schedule a last minute appointment with Dr. Thompson due to intense pain from a UTI but because of schedule constraints, I got in to see the NP Michelle Harsh and W O W! I am so so so grateful I did. Michelle is wonderful, kind, and full of knowledge. She actually cares about her patients and wants to help to the best of her ability. I needed a specific medication that my insurance company did not want to approve and she went above and beyond for me, just after one visit, working with the pharmacy and insurance directly to get the medication filled. I just recently went back for my annual pap and she was just as amazing the second time around. She also referred me out to a specialist for an IC diagnosis I received from a previous gyno. The specialist was just as wonderful too. She has a knack for patient care and truly rises above the golden standard for practitioners. I feel like she's been my doctor for years, and I've only been to the office twice. Dr. Thompson the best OB/GYN I've worked with. She listens, doesn't rush, and most importantly, doesn't judge. She provides objective info on unconventional choices. She is always reachable, and her office staff is great. She personally calls you with all test results and to answer questions. She has a laid back personality but pounces into action when needed. She helped me through a successful pregnancy and delivery, even with several complications including severe preeclampsia that ended in an emergency c-section. She was reachable throughout my pregnancy, at nights and on weekends, and promptly called back anytime I had a question or issue. She handled my complications like a pro, without creating panic in stressful situations. She is also a wonderful surgeon, and I'm really glad she was there to perform my c-section. First time. The wait time was over an hour with no explanation as to why. I did ask the nurse practitioner she asked me what happened ? After providing more details, I'm then told I'll need to wait even longer before I can see the doctor. I am not too happy with how my first visit has gone so far but I can tell you that if needed I will give this office a second chance to redeem themselves. Again poor customer service. Long wait times up to an hour or more. Not a happy customer. I'm updating my review to say that Dr. Kathleen Thompson is a true doctor she came in and apologize for the inconsistency and the customer service and promise to do better I so appreciate that as well as the other workers there also apologize for the long wait time. I have been going to Dr. Thompson for years now and to me she is the best of the best. She has one of the best bedside manners I have ever came across. As time goes on always the secret gets out when a doctor like her is in practice. So when I went to make my appointment and was told I could see Michelle I was disappointed. BUT I should have had more insight by the way that Dr. Thompson is and know she would wouldn't let just anyone serve her patients. Michelle is definitely the cream of the crop! She was very thorough during my annual and explained every step she was about to take. I truly loved my experience with Michelle. If you are a die hard Dr. Thompson lover like me please don't hesitate to accept an appointment with Michelle because is spectacular! Of course I cannot forget the rest of her staff. I just recently started seeing Dr. Thompson who was referred by a friend. We are beyond blessed to have found her she is a amazing!

I went here a few days ago and they needed to draw my blood. The medical assistants here do not know how to draw blood. She pulled the needle out of my arm while the tube was still attached to the needle. That is a huge no-no! Air can get into the vein and kill you. Also, it blows the vein and leaves a huge bruise with a lot of pain. 1. Tourniquet 2. Tube 3. Needle. That it the process that you learn in medical assisting 101. PLEASE TEACH YOUR STAFF HOW TO DRAW BLOOD!! You are causing your patients needless pain and bruising and potential death. read more

I was referred to Dr Kathleen Thompson by a coworker. It was my first appointment so they told me to show up 20 minutes early for paper work. Even though I was late, they brought me back not long after I Was finished filling out the paperwork. Dr Thompson and her NP were very personable and thorough. Dr. Thompson has delivered both of my babies, the first being a C-Section and the second a VBAC. Her office staff is so professional and accommodating, especially with all of my office visits and having a toddler with me during my second pregnancy! I never had to wait long for my appointments- very punctual. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Thompson- she is AMAZING! So professional and easy going. Most of all, patient! My VBAC was by far the best experience of my life and I credit much of it to her patience with me and really listening to me during my pregnancy. Moved to south Florida when I was 5 weeks pregnant and didn't know anyone. Randomly picked a doctor from my insurance coverage list and had a terrible experience! An acquaintance I met at church (who was also pregnant) recommended Dr. Thompson and from the first minute with her, I knew it'd would be a great experience--and it was!
