Don't go here if you have marketplace!!! First, even after offering to provide my insurance card…read morewhen setting up my appointment online, I was told it wouldn't be an issue. It's not the easiest thing in the world to take the time to make an appointment in the middle of the day, drive, park, go through security, etc... then I arrive at the office and was told "no we don't accept marketplace plans." When asked which insurances they accept, they couldn't provide a list? They also said they couldn't perform insurance verification on site? Like standard things that any dr office should be able to do? It's absolutely outrageous to me that I can walk into a dr office five years ago and get an IUD inserted and then five years later be unable to have that same dr office take it out simply because now I'm on marketplace insurance. Seems classist to be quite honest, and shocking considering they are a part of OhioHealth's system??

Today is Yelp's Thankful Thursday and I'm truly grateful for this practice, especially Dr. Cynthia…read moreVanek and her nurse, Lai. I had a lot of follow up questions from my appointment and I was able to send messages through the patient portal. Dr. Vanek answered my questions in a timely manner, and even messaged me with some lab results at 10pm the same evening as my appointment because she knew I was anxious about them. Lai has even called me to tell me my lab results before I was even able to call because she knew that I had been expecting results back that day. They have bent over backwards for me on several occasions to ensure I had the support and necessary medical treatment. Dr. Vanek's bedside manner is one of the best I have ever encountered. Her dedication to patient care and flexibility to meet patients' specific needs makes her one of the best doctors in Columbus.

As welcoming as a doctor's office can be…read more The nurses were a little short with me, but they were just trying to do their jobs quickly. Doctor Buchenroth was extremely friendly and down-to-Earth. Consent was extremely important to her, and she explained every part of the process before doing it. She also offered to let me have a chaperone or anything else I needed to feel comfortable. It was clear she's heard the women's exam horror stories and wanted to be part of the people who are helping change that. My annual exam went smoothly, and I was in-and-out much faster than other offices I've been to. They really run this place by the clock. I had my annual test results within 2 weeks. Warning: They are strict on times. Make sure to show up on-time. Cancellations and no-shows are charged a fee. I'd guess they've had a lot of issues with blocking off time for people who never show up.

I have been a loyal patient at this practice for over four years, but I was recently dropped as a…read moreclient due to their rigid and poorly communicated cancellation policy. While I understand the need for professional boundaries, the lack of flexibility and transparency here is deeply disappointing. Over the course of 48 months, I had a total of five scheduling incidents two of which were due to illness including COVID and three where I called hours in advance to cancel. Despite my long-standing history with the office, I was met with zero grace. Poor Communication: I was charged $50 for every single instance totaling $250. Which is fine but just noting that I paid fees associated with these missed appointments. Misleading Policies: I was never informed that a same ay cancellation even when calling hours ahead is treated with the same severity as a "no show." Zero Loyalty Consideration: After four years of consistent attendance, there was no consideration for the fact that life happens. To be penalized so strictly for being sick with COVID or other medical reasons feels predatory rather than professional. Dismissed as a Client: Ultimately, rather than working with a long erm patient to resolve these communication gaps, the office chose to terminate our professional relationship. Advice to others: Be extremely wary of their scheduling policy. If you are unwell or have an emergency, do not expect any empathy. You will be marked as a "no show" and charged the full fee regardless of your history with the practice or how much notice you provide. I strongly suggest this office begins emailing their patient base clear policy updates so others aren't blindsided by fees and sudden dismissal for simply being human.

They deferred the pelvic exam and told me to schedule it at a later time as well which is very annoying in my perticular situation since I don't find it fair to pay ANOTHER $250 because they didn't want to complete it today. If you actually have insurance that isnt worthless at covering preventative care, youll likely be fine and have a good experience.

I have already raised my family, so I cannot speak to her skill at prenatal care and helping with the birth, but she has managed all my past 40 issues and has kept me cancer free! Nobody likes to talk menopause or mammograms, but if you are reading this, you probably are a woman... and ithose things are just part of life for us... some of us (like me) it begins a bit early. Dr DiBartola has helped me not feel like Im going out of my mind as my body ages and has been nothing but professional and so kind. I highly recommend her. The mammogram here is in their office and its the most current type of machine. Currently 3-D. You schedule 20 min before your annual. I have historically been in and out in about 45 min for both appts
