PAIN RELIEF.
Once you turn to Rolfing, you will never go back to a chiropractor.
Once you come to Kathleen, you won't keep looking for other Rolfers in the Burlington area.
(If you don't know what Rolfing is, go to http://www.rolf.org/about )
I have been dealing with neuropathy since 1996, and being in pain for a solid decade and a half will get your body all contorted and stiff and out of sorts. So every few years I go get Rolfed. (The first time got me out of a wheelchair -- that is how powerful Rolfing is.) The effects last much longer than chiropractic work, and you do not have to go as often or for as long.
So each time I move, I have to find a new Rolfer! There are three or four in the Burlington area -- Kathleen was the first one I was able to get in touch with, and, it turns out, she is perfect for me. Now, I hear the others are very good, too, but now that I have found a gifted Rolfer who is in tune with my body, I won't be looking elsewhere.
I went to see Kathleen because I had been having headaches and neck pain -- from studying for the bar all summer, hunched over my too-big desk, squinting at the too-small print. So she just worked on my head and neck (mostly on my skull, it seems) for an hour and a half...and...amazing. Simply amazing. I had not even realized how much pain I was in until Kathleen worked it all away. What's more, when I stood up, I felt a difference in my lower back, my hips, and even my feet! I just felt more grounded. taller! floating...
I feel that bodywork healing is like music, in some ways: anyone can take a class and learn how to do it, but very few are truly gifted in it. Kathleen has the gift.
Of the many Rolfers I have been to, I would say Kathleen is tied for second. (First place goes to someone who is actually really more of an energy healer now, so talented is the amazing Paul Gordon of Boston.)
If you are in pain, struggling with headaches or back aches or old injuries, give Kathleen a call. You will wish you had done it sooner. read more
