When i exited the store i met Nicole "Nikki" George a pilates instructor that teaches classes in Montawk and East Hampton. It has been weeks since meeting Nikki. She has been able to encourage me to get back into my exercise groove. If you have struggled like me getting back into the groove of exercising, id encourage you to take her class immediately. Always felt supported, challenged (in a good way), learned new things, and felt like I improved each class. Sometimes classes had 1-2 people (semi private not bad), sometimes the room was full. You can do drop ins or sign up online with the MindBody app. They offer a card of 5 or 10 classes for a discounted rate. Enter the studio through the back door -- alley behind South Edison restaurant (it might be a little smelly in the alley, but that ends once you are in the studio). Check the schedule they have interesting classes beyond traditional yoga - Indo board SUP yoga (stand up yoga on a paddle board) Pilates Surfer yoga (advanced) And more.

I had taken pilates before but no instructor has ever given me nearly the time to correct every single movement I make. In pilates, the smallest movements are the most important and Annie is an expert and observing and correcting. She's also hilarious and very encouraging so her classes are fun. I wrote to let them know and despite that, they marked me as a no show. After ignoring my follow ups, I asked for a package refund many weeks later and was told no. This is a business I supported year round and I gave the owner no problem when she cancelled on me 2/3 times during the winter.
