The staff here were soooo friendly and kind! They really made this the best experience. I booked…read morefor a group because I was in town for a bachelorette. The booking process was very easy and the reservation came with water, champagne and a little marquee! It was super cute! The class actually wasn't as hard as people led me to believe but the base running paces being 7,8,9 is actually a bit crazy for an average height female in my opinion so I modified lol. Loved this experience and I would highly recommend this location!

My first time ever doing Barry's Bootcamp was at this spot over Memorial Day Weekend…read more The Workout: Tough, but fun. We literally worked every part of our body and I was sore for like 4 days after. The treadmill parts were especially grueling because, as a beginner, I was sandwiched in between people running on like 10.0 speed and I'm barely breathing trying to run on 7.0. I loved how the music was blasting and the lights were dim, so that we could suffer without being heard or seen by anyone else. The instructor, Josey, was great. He was upbeat and his instructions were very clear. I didn't know how he would pull off telling two groups of people two different sets of instructions, but he pulled it off! The Facility: Parking is a mad house. You should come maybe 10 minutes before the class so you can get all the spaces that the people from the class before you vacate. If you come too early, you won't find any parking. The gym itself is small and no frills. They have towels and water bottles, but I didn't see a water machine to refill your own water. Also they provide little cubbies in the main workout room so you won't have to worry about your stuff. My suggestion: For beginners, you should start on the floor and pick a spot in the middle row so you can see all the pros in front of you but also not feel pressure to be perfect. You'll also get a treadmill by the front door so you can go out and get a new towel (or air) without walking past everyone. All in all, I can't wait to do Barry's again and this location in particular was great.

This is such a sad excuse for an equinox tbh. The main space is small and cramped, and then there…read moreis a garage with some stuff thats a bit more cross fit looking. Overall I didn't see anything that looked different than any other equinox besides the Hamptons prefix in their name. I was in town for the day (with my passport membership). I drove about 30 min in traffic to get to this club -I was greeted by not 1 but 3 valet boys guarding the parking lot which holds about 12 cars -imagine dropping ur car off at a valet for a gym. "EXCLUSIVE." Instead of honoring the fact that I have paid out the price of a mid sized sedan to them over the last several years, they refused to extend me any courtesy and allow me to work out unless I paid 75$ for a day pass (roughly 1/3 of my 300$ membership fee) or pay an additional 300$. The 15 yr old running the front desk treated me like I was asking him for spare change, and the manager was equally rude. At no point was anyone trying to do anyting besides hold their hand out and ask for more money. Now, I understand that the passport membership excludes certain clubs, but circumstantially anyone with half a brain would get that I am a loyal member and extend some sort of one time courtesy since I do not live here and will not be returning any time soon. I will now consider quitting equinox altogether. Clubs in Manhattan that are NOT included in the passport will still typically allow you to workout. If I were to rate this equinox layout/equiptment/staff among all the equinoxes around the greater NYC area, this would be dead last. What an L for this brand.
