I have been going there for 15 years and can say, with total honesty, that I have never had a bad meal. With the wonderfully courteous Dinesh looking after the 40 cover restaurant, which has been recently fully refurbished, and brother Ashok masterminding the cooking, a visit is more akin to a visit to an exclusive dining club than your regular curry house. Meat, fish and vegetarian options are imaginatively and stylishly prepared and served, and Ashok will happily cook to order if your particular favourite is not on the extensive menu. This place does not get awards, or feature in guides because it doesn't need to. The do not need to solicit cheap publicity. Beloved by Leicester's Indian and English communities alike, it is a good idea to book because it can be packed - and not always only on Friday and Saturday. I cannot recommend highly enough, because if you want a truly high quality meal (not the cheapest, but that should not be an issue) then this is the one. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere and decor is lovely, we never feel rushed, and the food is absolutely mouth watering!
