We were looking for a new family doctor and made an appointment a week earlier, and related that we were new and wanted to try this family doctor. On the day of the scheduled appointment we went fifteen minutes earlier to do the standard paper work. When we walked up to the receptionist and related her of our appointment, she came back answering perturbed "Not here, not today". We tried explaining that we made the appointment the week prior. She still did not want to hear our story and keep relating that the doctor has no time for us. While we're trying to give our last name, she turns around now to talk to a different patient. Finally she located our name and related that our appointment is for the following week. Not trying to be confrontational I tried to explain that when I made the appointment I had paper and pen to write down this appointment, then transferred it to my phone, iPad and calendar (which all three matched). Whoever's fault doesn't matter. She just ignored me and went on speaking to other patients again ignoring us. We just looked at each other and couldn't believe this. We then just walked out in amazement thinking (sign one). That's without seeing a doctor on a New Patient visit. We're still debating on going back, hoping the doctor is better than his front desk.
