It is indeed challenging to schedule an appointment within a reasonably short amount of time with any of the MDs, I attribute that to the general shortage in MDs and nothing specific to Dr. Kakimoto. She was once again dismissive, somewhat rude, showing no empathy or compassion. I felt like I was taking up her time in her busy day. She never was able to help me (with pain in left leg, hip area). She took all I said personally and defensive. Aren't doctors supposed to be trained or educated to deal with patients under pain? Again, No regard to pain I was having. No X-ray or MRI was offered. I had to ask for a physical therapy referral via online. I felt like I was diagnosing myself. She told me she didn't need new patients if I left and that she was one of the partners. Wow. Doctors need CARE model training or a refresher course if they want to keep their patients. She had the worst medical professional manners. Her words were just plain mean. No attempt on her part to create a relationship with a new patient. Very disappointing.

Absolutely no care for patient care, only want you to schedule physicals and then downplay your real issues when discussed. The only PA that was actually caring was Lindsay and she left and that's when it became very apparent this practice is lacking. Called several times for real medical concerns and was told to call back @7:30 in the am every day to see if could be triaged in that day, but never was. Sad and disappointed in the healthcare system, but I transferred recently and it was a big reminder to never settle as there are healthcare providers who actually want to see you instead of sending you to urgent care or ER!

My mom had a very difficult case that another doctor wouldn't touch, and another doctor told us to take her to hospice. Dr. Song not only took my mom on, but he also tried his best to argue with the insurance companies, and then find excellent replacement treatments and medications ones that the insurance rejected. We had an emergency at 11pm, and told the nurse not to call him. He took the call, spent as much time needed to understand the issues, and luckily helped solve our emergency. He is incredibly dedicated to his patients. He has visited my mom in the hospital on weekends, put her comfort first before trying to bill unnecessary procedures (like some other offices we've been to unfortunately). Sure, he does like to give a lot of advice, which I can understand may rub people the wrong way. But at the bottom of it he is trying to help all of us be safe, healthy and avoid problems. I am laughing that a patient did not know her dates and got mad when the doctor was annoyed. If you don't place enough importance on yourself to have your healthcare and medical history organized, and understand the doctor is being thorough by asking your history, not sure that's the doctor's fault. I would recommend Dr. Song in a heartbeat. I have never seen such a hardworking, dedicated oncologist, and am so grateful we found him. My mom is still alive thankfully thanks to Dr. Song.

After a split second I to left as I stormed by one of his girls and said I can't do this. She didn't even look surprized.I never looked back.This was the most hellish experience of my life.
