We came to look at boxes, cos... um... we are a little obsessed with boxes…read more We sated ourselves with a plastic basket for our hat collection and a wheeled storage box with clip on lid for our canoeing gear. It's perfect and will replace the rubbish one we've been putting up with for the last six years. My husband remarked how Homebase was much much better value than Woodies for some storage drawers he needed for work recently. 15 EUR v 40 EUR. Mad difference. We wandered around all the departments and we picked up a few more bits that have been on my long term shopping list. I picked up a lovely small cactus for 2.60 EUR. It's fairly impressive and large. It seems to cover all the bases for your home and garden. And they've boxes. So many wonderful boxes.

My next journey in the car was to wexford and while on the motorway the car started shaking and making noise. I luckily got to a Renault garage and when my car was examined I was told that the tyre that had been put on by Red Cow Tyres had not been tightened or screwed in properly. I wa very lucky that the wheel had not come off when I was driving on the motorway. I phoned and spoke to someone who works at Red Cow Tyres but I was told that it is up to the customer to check the tyre is on properly after driving 30 miles. I have never heard of this and I know nothing about putting a tyre on. I had paid to get the tyre replaced and put on. I just want people to be aware of this situation asit is very serious and I was very lucky I didn't cause or be involved in a serious car accident because the wheel was not tightened properly.

TAY AWAY We ordered a kitchen from Crozyl Kitchens (also…read moretrading as Plan-it Kitchenz) on January 11th, 2025, with an estimated delivery and installation time of +-12 weeks. It's now July, and we still have no kitchen. Throughout the process, the company repeatedly changed delivery dates without providing proper updates or clear explanations. No installation date was even mentioned until the beginning of June, when I finally received an email saying installation would take place on June 30th. After such a long and unexplained delay, I was already frustrated and skeptical. To this day, I still don't know what the actual reason was -- the explanations given were vague, and I genuinely question their truth. In early June, I formally requested a full refund of our €8,000 deposit due to the ongoing issues. Within hours, I received a call offering a discount, and we reluctantly agreed to proceed under the assumption that the kitchen would finally be installed. However, just a few days before the scheduled date, I emailed, texted, and called to confirm whether installation was really happening - and was completely ignored. At that point, we decided enough was enough. We submitted a second official request for a full refund of our €8,000 deposit - this time stating no negotiation. We simply want our money back. Again, our messages were ignored. We are now being forced to pursue legal action, which is both time-consuming and emotionally exhausting. After more then six months, we're left with no kitchen, no refund, and no answers. Do we really deserve this kind of stress after trusting a company with such a large investment? I strongly urge others to stay far away from Crozyl Kitchens and Plan-it Kitchenz. It's the same company, operating under two names. Based on our experience, they are unreliable, evasive, and unprofessional.
