Great dogs after hurting your wallet at Lowes! Makes the receipt a little easier to look at.

My husband and I always order the Italian beef with mozzarella, loaded with both hot and sweet peppers, along with a side of cheese sauce. I usually get the Maxwell Street Polish sausage, and we always order extra cheese sauce for dipping our fries. The onion rings are also a great option when we're in the mood for something extra. For dessert, I never pass up the eclair cake--it's one of my favorites. The service is consistently fast and friendly, and the restaurant itself is huge with plenty of seating, making it easy to find a table even during busy times. If you're craving a taste of Chicago, this spot definitely hits the mark.

It's good, but the hubby and I agreed, the food was not as flavorful as we were expecting. Full disclosure - the issue may be that I don't eat fast food and he rarely eats fast food. This chain is a fancier version of most fast food places. We got the large Italian roast beef combo (comes with large fries and a drink), a fish sandwich (Much better version than a fast food place), fries, and chocolate cake (I'm a dessert expert!) The roast beef was very tender, but not well seasoned. We got it with 1/2 hot & 1/2 sweet peppers. This sandwich does need the peppers to add some flavor. The au jus was OK, but again, not flavorful - just something to "wet" the sammie. The fish sandwich was large, fresh, and had a decent flavor. Our fries were the star of the show. They know how to make good crinkle cut fries. The chocolate cake was a disappointment. I didn't mind the cake part being made with oil, but good frosting is always made with butter and this cake did not have butter cream frosting. The hubby said if he was ever in the area, he'd grab a sammie from here. I would just go to one of the many other nearby spots. Again, the food wasn't bad, just decent. There is plenty of parking and this location is huge. You can sit inside and eat, or hit up their drivethrough area, or order on the app and pickup inside like I did.

If I didn't have my dog with me, I'd have eaten inside. I ordered: Marinated chicken breast with Swiss, bacon, avocado and mayo on toated wheat bun. Sweet potato fries. Side of Ranch dressing. Absolutely delicious! The drive home was 1.1 mls. I tasted the fries immediately: hot, crispy, and so flavorful! By the time I arrived home and plated my meal, the first bite of my burger was only warm and my fries were kind of chilly, but that's not their fault. Being 104° out today, Wed, 7/22/26, I'm sure my fans in the home on high contributed to my meal cooling off. The in-house-made ranch dressing is fantastic! My chicken breast tasted fresh, juicy and cooked just right. They put just the correct amount of basil mayo on my toasted bun, so no over-saturation was appreciated! The avocado tasted fresh and I enjoyed the mushiness of it. My bacon was ordered crispy. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS Good job, Chapps! You've come a long way since 1984 when you first opened! The great tastiness of your food puts you high on my burger restaurant list now.

I already love this place because I can bring my dogs, and that's always a big plus for me. I just wish their dog park was a little bigger and maybe had a few more things in there. I just want the best for my dogs. Other than that, everything was nice. The drinks were really good and they have so many different options to choose from. The staff working there were also really nice, especially the one helping us out. I forgot to catch his name, but you'll probably spot him in one of the pictures. He was super sweet and helped us decide what drinks to get. All of my dogs really enjoyed it too. I didn't ask, but I do wish they had some kind of dog menu so they could enjoy something too. They do have cold water for the dogs though, which was really nice. It was pretty hot when we went, but they had fans going all around, and if you want, they also have indoor seating. Overall, it's just a really vibey place and I always enjoy coming here.

They are now charging 50¢ per slice of tomato on top of their regular price due to a shortage & are overcompensating with onion. They used to be pretty generous with their fries - we got just enough to fill the slip. They also filled our cups to the brim with ice & we got very little soda. Considering we paid $4 for the fries and drink (a combo) to be added to the gyro, it's like a slap in the face to the customer to get so little for so much. The only thing consistent about the meal and past experiences was the homemade ranch. I know times are hard and the cost of things have also gone up, but it's these little things that make you consider taking your hard earned money somewhere else. 3 stars because we generally are happy with the food we get. It just might be a while until we patronize again.

They use really good pickles for their fried pickles. The fries were just ok; and I thought the shake would have been bigger but it was still good. (I had ordered a small shake; they brought out a medium because of a delay but it looked like what I would call a small at places like Sonic or Braums.)
