Mainly it is used for credit purposes so they can hunt you down and report you to the credit bureau if you do not pay. I was paying ahead of time. No one and I mean NO ONE should EVER give their SSN to doctors or hospitals unless you want your personal information stolen. The young and very cocky man behind the window gave the lamest reason that "We need to put something into the system" and that I wouldn't be seen unless I give them my SSN.. Hey moron, how about typing in 000-00-0000?? " This only showed me what their primary interest is in. Glad I didn't waste any money or anything regarding my health there. Just to let you know, I have NEVER had an issue from a doctor's office or hospital about refusing to give my number. Til now. I would avoid unless you prefer drinking the kool-aid like the rest of them and have a doctor who doesn't respect your privacy issues..

She cares a lot and wants to do a great job but she doesn't work both sides evenly and kind of just glides across the trigger points popping them around instead of getting them to release with consistent intentional skilled pressure also random hard pushing on my shoulder blades for no apparent reason. I get the impression she was trained poorly. She has a tremendous amount of health issues and openly shares them and makes me feel really sad for her (not the best for trying to relax and heal). I really like her and appreciate how hard she tries but if my insurance wasn't paying I wouldn't go back if I was paying out of pocket because it feels like a teaching environment not a professional therapeutic team. I wish them the best and am sharing this in hopes they can improve with 1. Better boundaries no more TMI conversations during h treatment (understand silence is always best) 2. If you can't stand maybe tell patients in advance so they can opt out and request a therapist that can stand. 3. Improve the smell in the rooms (very stuffy and attic type smell) 4. If the plants aren't vibrant and healthy get them out of the lobby. Sick plants are a real turn off 5. Offer spa head bands they help put people on the zone and give a legitimate feel to the business 6. Set treatment standards: example -my therapist asks me to move my arm when she should move but can't because she's sitting, also have a standard in the rooms smells are inconsistent and often times I can't wash my hands in the room because there was cutting supplies all over the sink. And if you're gonna rub someone's arms finish and do the hands as well (briefly) to complete that quadrant of the body and have structure to the treatment don't just jump around spot to spot randomly with no cohesion or perceivable method.
