Let me start off by saying I am reluctant to write this because I don't want to share my awesome aesthetician but she desserves it. I am a military wife, who has adapted to the lifestyle of constantly relocating. One of the worst aspects of that is trying to find a new GOOD aesthetician and stylist. Going from reviews and locations its always luck of the draw on trying a new person/place and usually a disappointment. Thankfully I found Ingrid not long after moving to Tucson and she's been incredible! and has great prices!! Win Win! After first going to her, I still tried other locations for both waxing and cuts and was again, disappointed. Last year I let Artie from Legacy Salon spa cut off 14inches of my locks and cried for about a month to my husband. I even went to him the next week to tell him I wasnt happy and he "attempted" to fix it to no avail. I also tried other waxing locations and they never were as thorough or gave me the sense of cleanliness that Ingrid does. After 1 and a half years of great results I can say with confidence that she is a gem in Tucson! She has a wonderful personality and is very comfortable to be with. She always makes it easy to give input without the fear of feeling like one of those "needy" or whiny clients. I went to Karreen for a Brazilian wax... my first ever and I had an amazing experience. As suggested I took an over the counter pain pill about an hour before arriving. The entire wax took about 40 minutes. Karreen did small sections. Did it hurt? Yes, my hair was getting pulled out. Did the pain last? Nooo! I would say more that there is discomfort when the hair is pulled, and then nothing afterwards. No soreness at all! I walked out of there feeling great! Karreen has the experience to know what she is doing and she does things right! I can't recommend her enough for her massage services and now her waxing. Love her! read more

Two weeks ago, Karreen did lash enhancement permanent make-up on my upper eye lids. I have super sensitive eyes, allergy and dry (watery) eyes thus eyeliner/mascara was always a disaster. Lash enhancement was my "natural" looking solution. Karreen was highly recommended because of her immense experience and quality work. I have to admit due to my sensitivity the procedure was painful, but Kareen made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I am so excited about my new salon. I had my hair done last night by Ingrid Gina, who has just joined the welcoming group at Karreen's. This little salon is located next to the Dunkin Donuts at Grant and Swan, and I think is one little secret that Tucson needs to know about. I am so impressed with the range of services available here! From waxing to full hair service to nails & pedis to permanent makeup to reflexology and craniosacral treatments, you can spend the whole day at this place! And it is so comfortable and homey, you just might! I went this morning for my first experience with Karreen's reflexology. I am a person who has constant joint pain and a lot of strange shifting has occurred in my body since my recent weight loss of over 100 pounds. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am really happy about the results. It's a treatment that includes the Eastern medicine techniques of applying pressure to certain zones on the feet to alter the relaxation and position of muscles. Karreen worked my feet, which was pleasant in itself, but the reaction the rest of my body had was remarkable. From head to toe, I experienced total relaxation and release. Karreen incorporates the use of noise vibration to improve muscle relaxation, as well as hot stone therapy. Such a customized and pleasant experience! I am hooked! It feels like a total massage, but in actuality, she only touched my feet and ankles. When she presses on one area of the foot, you feel a shift of energy in various parts of the body, both internal and external. I didn't have to take any painkillers today after my treatment, and my level of discomfort and stiffness was significantly decreased. I recommend making an appointment with Karreen right away. I am a teacher of students with autism, and I kept thinking how much improvement many of my students would undergo with her treatments, as she directly affects the nervous system and sensory processing. Karreen is amazing at everything she does! I first started seeing Karreen for back waxing and we would always have the most amazing conversations. She is very knowledgeable and experienced in many fields, especially in acupuncture and seeding. Then, this last December, I suffered a spontaneous collapsed lung and I was in the hospital with a chest tube for a few days.
