I've been going to Karreen now about 3 years now on a friends recommendation (I get my eyebrows waxed and on occasion nose hairs lol) and she is extremely professional and friendly. Pays attention to every little detail and prices are great. Highly recommend! Also my girfriend has gotten a Reiki massage from her and is excellent at that too! I cant say enough good things :-) read more

She is an incredible healer! First time there and my problem with my shoulder has nearly gone away, less than a week out. Loved the Acupuncture, Cupping and Massage. The space is so comfortable and homey. Can't wait to come back after my trip to London for some de-comp from travelling. She covers all the things I need and love; next time a facial! Thanks, Karreen. You're a Goddess... read more

Let me start off by saying I am reluctant to write this because I don't want to share my awesome aesthetician but she desserves it. I am a military wife, who has adapted to the lifestyle of constantly relocating. One of the worst aspects of that is trying to find a new GOOD aesthetician and stylist. Going from reviews and locations its always luck of the draw on trying a new person/place and usually a disappointment. Thankfully I found Ingrid not long after moving to Tucson and she's been incredible! and has great prices!! Win Win! After first going to her, I still tried other locations for both waxing and cuts and was again, disappointed. Last year I let Artie from Legacy Salon spa cut off 14inches of my locks and cried for about a month to my husband. I even went to him the next week to tell him I wasnt happy and he "attempted" to fix it to no avail. I also tried other waxing locations and they never were as thorough or gave me the sense of cleanliness that Ingrid does. After 1 and a half years of great results I can say with confidence that she is a gem in Tucson! She has a wonderful personality and is very comfortable to be with. She always makes it easy to give input without the fear of feeling like one of those "needy" or whiny clients. If you are looking for a new stylist and/or aesthetician, you will not be disappointed. read more

I had Kareen tattoo my eyeliner this week. It was painless and the results are beautiful! I've gotten so many compliments. I've had a great healing process with no problems. I'm thrilled with the results and plan to return for my eyebrows. read more

I went to Karreen for a Brazilian wax... my first ever and I had an amazing experience. As suggested I took an over the counter pain pill about an hour before arriving. The entire wax took about 40 minutes. Karreen did small sections. Did it hurt? Yes, my hair was getting pulled out. Did the pain last? Nooo! I would say more that there is discomfort when the hair is pulled, and then nothing afterwards. No soreness at all! I walked out of there feeling great! Karreen has the experience to know what she is doing and she does things right! I can't recommend her enough for her massage services and now her waxing. Love her! read more

Two weeks ago, Karreen did lash enhancement permanent make-up on my upper eye lids. I have super sensitive eyes, allergy and dry (watery) eyes thus eyeliner/mascara was always a disaster. Lash enhancement was my "natural" looking solution. Karreen was highly recommended because of her immense experience and quality work. I have to admit due to my sensitivity the procedure was painful, but Kareen made sure I was as comfortable as possible. She played relaxing music, placed a pillow under my knees, and talked me through every step. The results are fantastic! Healing went rather well and my eyes look younger! Thanks Kareen for doing such wonderful work! read more

Whatever it is that you need done, it can be done here at a great price with amazing service and quality results!!!! I hate getting that awkward feeling as I'm sitting in the chair at a hair salon as if I don't belong or wondering if my hair will come out just the way I want it to. Not here, ;) I knew from the start that I had come to the right place. You are simply taken care of. This has become my get away place ;) lol read more

I am so excited about my new salon. I had my hair done last night by Ingrid Gina, who has just joined the welcoming group at Karreen's. This little salon is located next to the Dunkin Donuts at Grant and Swan, and I think is one little secret that Tucson needs to know about. I am so impressed with the range of services available here! From waxing to full hair service to nails & pedis to permanent makeup to reflexology and craniosacral treatments, you can spend the whole day at this place! And it is so comfortable and homey, you just might! I went this morning for my first experience with Karreen's reflexology. I am a person who has constant joint pain and a lot of strange shifting has occurred in my body since my recent weight loss of over 100 pounds. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am really happy about the results. It's a treatment that includes the Eastern medicine techniques of applying pressure to certain zones on the feet to alter the relaxation and position of muscles. Karreen worked my feet, which was pleasant in itself, but the reaction the rest of my body had was remarkable. From head to toe, I experienced total relaxation and release. Karreen incorporates the use of noise vibration to improve muscle relaxation, as well as hot stone therapy. Such a customized and pleasant experience! I am hooked! It feels like a total massage, but in actuality, she only touched my feet and ankles. When she presses on one area of the foot, you feel a shift of energy in various parts of the body, both internal and external. I didn't have to take any painkillers today after my treatment, and my level of discomfort and stiffness was significantly decreased. I recommend making an appointment with Karreen right away. I am a teacher of students with autism, and I kept thinking how much improvement many of my students would undergo with her treatments, as she directly affects the nervous system and sensory processing. I also thought of all the people in my life who would benefit in some way from this type of unique and amazing session, and it is pretty much everyone! From my daughter with ADHD to my husband's old rotator cuff injury, I think we will all be visiting Karreen for pain and chi management. read more

I am a HUGE fan of this place! Karreen, the owner of this salon is just wonderful! I went to her for reflexology (foot massage) and I promise you this, you will leave feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated. She has such a warm and genuine personality which made it even better, as if it could get any better. Bottom line is I love supporting local business' especially ones when you walk in you feel so warm and comfortable. She treats you like family and really loves what she does. The salon is so quaint and eclectic you will love how its decorated. Treat yourself to this service, or any other one there...you will be glad you did! read more

Karreen did my permanent eyeliner, and it looks great! I can't tell you how nervous I was to get my a tattoo on my eyelid, but Karreen was very patient with and has very steady hands. A licensed acupuncturist, she applied a few needles to help with my anxiety. I highly recommend her! read more

The energy in Karreen's studio was great. It totally put me at ease and she was kind. She explained everything to me thoroughly and what to expect. She keeps it real. I wanted to have a sprinkling of freckles on my nose, cheeks, chin and forehead. On a scale of 1-10, the pain was a 1, barely. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will go back again! read more

Karreen is amazing at everything she does! I first started seeing Karreen for back waxing and we would always have the most amazing conversations. She is very knowledgeable and experienced in many fields, especially in acupuncture and seeding. I was very reluctant to try acupuncture even though Karreen kept sharing all her knowledge with me and kept assuring me that there was nothing to be scared of. Then, this last December, I suffered a spontaneous collapsed lung and I was in the hospital with a chest tube for a few days. After leaving the hospital, I was experiencing pain and symptoms of asthma, and I decided it was time to give Karreen a call. She sat me down, seeded my ears, gave me acupuncture, and had a long talk with me about asthma. I followed her expert advise and left the seeds in my ears for a week, and the pain was gone! I was back to normal again! I couldn't believe it, 5 months later and I'm still feeling really great. Thank you so much, Karreen! I recommend Karreen to anyone who is looking to better their health, or even just to enjoy a great conversation with an amazing woman. read more

I get waxed by Karreen, she's amazing :) Always great energy and good vibes, love going to see her!

After experiencing sciatic nerve pain in the past, I was looking for faster relief this time and without anti inflammatory medication. Karreen treated me with acupuncture that was amazingly painless and after that one hour procedure I was feeling so much better. I thought I would have to go back for more treatments even though I immediately felt better. That was about 1 month ago and I have been so much more comfortable. Karreen is not only very professional and quite knowledgeable in the field, she is also very compassionate and kind. I highly recommend this form of pain relief for not only my condition, but other forms of back pain, arthritis and allergy treatment. I have friends who have benefited from Karreen's acupuncture for these types of pain and allergy. Instead of the cold medical office you may have experienced, get ready for someone who is patient and interested in what you need to say about how you feel, a warm comfortable environment with soft music and true relief. read more

This has become my new go-to spot for beauty. I had a facial done by Ingrid on new year's eve and it was relaxing. I have been seeing her a few months for all my beauty needs. She has done excellent and age appropriate work on my 12 year old too. Her flexibility is amazing and I appreciate her expertise. The shop is adorable and I LOVE the warming pad in the facial room. I already have my next appointment booked. read more

I am sooo happy with my permanent makeup. Kareen is an excellent makeup artist. She gave me exactly what I wanted. She made sure and kept asking me over and over if that is what I wanted. I wish I would have done it a long time ago, but I wanted to go to someone reputable. An Registerd nurse referred me to her, and I am so happy I waited. I highly recommend Karreen. read more
