We had interviewed a few other firms that were basically acting as "Yes Men" just replying in the affirmative for any suggestions that we made. That is not what we wanted. We are not kitchen designers and don't necessarily know what works well together. We asked Jackie to be honest with us and we are glad that we did. Her suggestions were spot on and resulted in a spectacular remodel. The work done by GSC was great with solid attention to detail. All of the subs (plumbing, granite, drywall) were all excellent as well. All very nice and respectful. No issues with their work and we felt very comfortable with them in our house. We highly recommend GSC if you are thinking of building or updating your kitchen.

Sue is fantastic! She was sensitive to our budget and recommended lovely, affordable options that did not compromise the design. Speaking of design, Kathleen designed a kitchen that is breathtaking and practical. Pete managed the project really well and had subcontractors beginning their phase of the job on Friday afternoon so the project stayed on time. Dave's craftsmanship was superb. We look forward to working with Granite State Cabinetry in the future for 2 bathroom remodels!

It's nice that it's so packed with variety I guess, but no one ever knows where anything specifically is when I'm asking them, and it seems like it's not very thoughtfully curated by whoever is ordering everything (some things are obviously the "good" brand of things, while others seem like they came from the Oriental Trading Company catalog.) Seems like it's designed just for browsing and impulse-buying of Le Creuset teacups rather than to service people at home actually experimenting with and (trying to!) make creative food on the reg for their families. Which is fine for what it is, but I would love to have something more thoughtful, reliable and sophisticated nearby.
