I got a referral to see Dr. WeiPee from a good friend of mine who is a nurse. I recently had my back done and it was amazing. Two session on my back already and there is less pain. This past weekend I got my knees and stomach done. I know the knee pains are gone from my first visit but wanted them to get done again; the only difference is I got my stomach done. She explained it will reduce my appetite, and trim my waist line. It's been two days and I went down two sizes. lol. I can't believe it myself. I haven't been disappointed yet. I've recently learned that acupuncture helps with allergies. I will be getting this done when my allergies starts in October. I am now a big fan of acupuncture. All natural with no chemicals. No pills, no steroid injections. Loving the holistic methods that cures everything.

The latest was my breaking point. I had scheduled a physical months ago (because it takes months to get an appointment). I just got a message that the doctor was not available and I had to reschedule. No number was left. I called back the number the message was left on. Evidently that leads to no where and eventually hung up on me. I finally find another number and after another maze of phone hell I guess I was connected to a Jefferson central scheduling person (evidently you can't just call someone in their office). This person then proceeds to start from ground zero asking me all the same questions that I was asked 3 months ago when scheduling. Then after about 15 minutes total trying to navigate what should have been 3 minutes of time to reschedule they offer me an appointment another 3 months out!!! God forbid you are actually sick and need to see a doctor - good luck. It's a shame because I do like my doctor but he is behind such a wall of nonsense you can't get to him. I'm done. Jefferson has ruined doctor care in my area.

They are open on Sats 8-noon and weekdays they open till 8pm I think. It was a bit hard to get someone on the phone but I was able to get a new patient appt in 3-4wks. Receptionist was nice. Nursing was good and did my intake. I saw my provider close to the time I was scheduled. She was knowledgable and through. They knew that b/c my visit was "preventative" routine exam I didn't have to pay a copay. They also draw blood work on site which is a big plus! Lotsa parking in their lot. They have a nice website. I just put in a prescription refill request online and I'll see how quickly they respond to that. Would definitely continue to come here.

I had gone to Blue Bell Family Practice for a severe illness and had been misdiagnosed to the point that I had to be hospitialized over New Years two years ago. I should've known the Dr. wasn't "all there" when she showed up in a two-sizes two small track suit, chewing gum and not being able to ask me questions about what was truly ailing me. Yikes! A friend of mine suggested LMG Family Practice, specifically because their office is on the corner of 73 and 202 in Blue Bell - a 2 minute drive away. I got an appointment with Dr. Charles Kish - within minutes, I was hooked. Dr. Kish treats me like I'm an individual, he looks over everything, he's thorough and when I bring something up that needs attention, he never looks at me like I'm wasting his time or that I'm crazy. Recently I was diagnosed with arthritis at age 34 - he never said "Oh you are crazy, you are too young," especially as I have other underlying factors that pushed the arthritis. The front desk staff is also truly great. Robin (Office Manager) and Sarah (RN) are always helpful and get me in when I need to be seen. Being a guy in his late 20s, the last thing I want to do is see a doctor, but this office makes it quick and painless, without losing its attention to detail and meeting patient needs. They have a streamlined checking and check out process with what seems to be a LARGE amount of ancillary staff (all medical assistants). They are all so friendly and courteous and seem to be fairly knowledgeable beyond their scope of practice. I have to point out specifically Robert Wilhelmi, PA-C. I have come across many providers in my career and personal life, and he seems to be the most brilliant of any I've met. He gives it to you straight, addresses all your problems, and ensures proper follow up. I appreciate this provider very much. This practice has gained a grateful patient for life.

Reviewing lab results was also treated as a separate billable item, even though it's a routine part of an annual exam. When I contacted billing for clarification, I was simply told they "have to abide by what the PCP reported," with no meaningful discussion or review. Frustrating experience and not acceptable to be charged twice for the same issue.

My appointments with Dr. Maryum Gill at Broad Axe Family Medicine were positive while in the…read moreoffice, but the follow-up care was deeply disappointing. I alerted Dr. Gill that IBX required a prior authorization for a prescribed medication. Despite clear communication, no request was ever submitted. When I called IBX directly, they confirmed there was no record of any prior authorization from the provider. Dr. Gill's and her staff staff told me to "wait for the insurance company," which was inaccurate -- the process must be initiated by the provider. This demonstrated that both the doctor and her office either did not understand or disregarded the prior authorization process. If you are healthy, they will gladly take your office visit fees; but if you need real coordination of care or help navigating insurance, do not expect follow-through. Poor communication and lack of responsibility made this a frustrating experience.
