Here is why I know that: the email responses I was receiving were usually a 5-7 day late during tax season, they were overwhelmed by the number of customers, my taxes were higher than what I was able to obtain though another CPA. In addition, I requested to be removed from their mailing list back in November 2024 and still receive emails about follow ups and promotions despite me being a customer. This just reminds me about the company that took $2,000 for services that didn't offer the value I paid for.

One of the biggest issues was her lack of accountability. There were multiple mistakes made by her team, yet she never took ownership or responsibility for them. Instead of acknowledging the errors or offering any kind of apology, she was dismissive and unhelpful. This left me in a tough position, especially when transitioning to a new accountant who had to spend significant time correcting numerous errors. It's frustrating because I've since seen other reviews describing a similar pattern--friendly at first, then becoming rude and unprofessional--which was exactly my experience as well. I'm not sure exactly what happened but my tax returns were supposedly completed over two months ago and I can't get this guy to return my phone call. I booked meetings with him and then he doesn't answer. He seems to always have an excuse why he isn't available, stomach trouble, busy and the last time I spoke to him, he said he was holding my tax returns for payment, but he had never even given me a bill. I don't know if he has dementia or what's going on, but this was extremely frustrating and a huge waste of my time.
