Dr. Karma is a treasure. I was struggling about a few things: not feeling well, not happy with big pills for cholesterol doing nothing really, and anxiety. Within a month or so my anxiety is getting better, I am off of cholesterol and I have steadily lost weight, which was hard for me to do for the past 15 years or so. I was very pleased with his guidance as soon I started working with him. He is very kind and I look forward to acupuncture treatments as they help. I would recommend him highly. read more

We've seen Dr. Karma a couple of times in hopes of treating my fiancé's sinus issues. Our goal was to find a more holistic approach and get away from all the prescription drugs that never truly addressed the root cause of his health problems. After just one session with Dr. Karma and following his recommendations, we noticed incredible improvements in all our areas of concern. On our second visit yesterday, I mentioned that we were attending a family event where we'd be drinking. He suggested his "no hangover" remedy--and I'm honestly amazed at how great I feel this morning despite the multiple drinks and shots from last night! For anyone who usually wakes up with headaches and anxiety after a night out, this is a must-have. If you're struggling with health issues or just want genuine, high-quality care for yourself or your loved ones, I can't recommend Dr. Karma enough! read more

Dr Karma has been helping me and my family for several years. If you are sick and tired of traditional doctors prescribing pills and not actually helping you to get to the root cause of your ailment, look no more. Dr Karma's kind and gentle approach sets the stage to make you feel like he really cares..he asks lots of questions and listens attentively to your responses, probing with curiosity to put the information together with his exam which includes acupuncture, red light therapy, healing energy and his herbal drops. Most recently, I went in for severe knee pain that was radiating up my thigh (almost like reverse sciatica). Urgent care said the xray showed nothing remarkable (mild arthritis) and they referred me to an ortho, which was a month later. In the meantime, I went to Dr Karma 4-5x for acupuncture. After each visit I would feel a little better, with hope that I might actually be myself again. I am 5 weeks out from my injury and I'm happy to say that I'm 90% better, thanks to Dr Karma. He truly is a gifted healer. read more

I've been having ab/ rib pain for the last year and a half, I've visited 6+ doctors at Kaiser and they all say the same thing... "it's an ab injury." I tried PT, I've tried heat/ cold packs, I dislike pain pills but I tried that too and nothing has helped me at all. I knew what I had was not an ab injury and something more serious and that's when I began to look in a different direction. I heard of Dr Karma thru my gf who had gone to him for health complications she had which are now gone, completely. She told me to go to him in the past and after more than a year of struggles with my ab/ rib area I gave Dr Karma a try. I regret not going to him earlier because within a month of going to Dr Karma, he has been a true blessing. Within 15-30 minutes of my first visit, Dr Karma evaluated me and came to the conclusion that I had something wrong with my intestine. He gave me answers I had been seeking and trying to find for a long time. I started taking cluster and hepacure herbal drops/ medicine that would help rebalance and cleanse my body from bad toxins and other issues within my intestine, liver and more. It's been about a month and my body has responded very well to it. I've never gone to a holistic doctor, but Dr Karma has definitely opened my eye up to a completely different side of life within health care that I will never see the same. If you're looking for an alternative to traditional health care, I recommend going to Dr Karma. Something important you must know is that in order to heal yourself, you must also undergo a shift in your lifestyle which includes eating habits, consistency with treatment and having faith in overcoming whatever illment you're experiencing and of course... trust Dr Karma, he's very knowledgeable and knows what he's doing. Thank you Dr Karma. You are a true healer. Forever sending my blessings and prayers to you. read more

I was having severe anxiety as well low energy and fatigue. Dr. Karma treated me with acupuncture and prescribed his herbal remedies to help cleanse my body of toxins that were impacting my brain. After about a week of taking his herbal mix, my energy was better and I was no longer feeling anxious. In addition to his treatment, Dr. Karma took the time to listen to my concerns and discussed lifestyle factors that were also impacting my health. I highly recommend Dr. Karma for his expertise in eastern medicine and bedside manners read more

Dr. Karma is truly God-sent. Last year, I was battling horrific migraines , along with high blood pressure. Unfortunately, I ended in the hospital with a stroke...a migraine stroke (who would of known for someone who is active, eats well and is in excellent shape.) Not only did I end up having temporary paralysis for 6 months, I was having a lot of knee and ankle pain...could barely get up in the am and walk throughout the day. He recommended acupuncture which has helped me tremendously and taking his Cluster Antiopyretic supplement has helped ease my headaches and extreme fatigue. Most important, He is detailed, Gentle and LISTENS. I am on my journey to healing my body, mind and spirit . So happy I found him. I highly recommend him, he is a healer! read more

I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dr.K. I've been seeing him for about 6 weeks for my overall health especially my heart, blood pressure and heart palpitations. From me taking him herbal medicine to cleanse my system I've lost 20 lbs of unnecessary and unwanted weight. My blood pressure has slowly been changing lowering to be in a normal range. I haven't felt any heart palpitations in about a week or so. As you know when working with nature and the natural remedies it takes time and I am here for the healthy healing journey. Dr.K is very kind and caring. I'm grateful to have found him. Not to mention the acupuncture is amazing as well. I also tested positive for Covid a few weeks ago, called him and he immediately had me stop by to pick up some herbal medicine that I took and within a few days my test was negative and I felt better. If your looking for a gentle giant that truly cares about you and your well being give him a call asap. read more

Dr. K is a kind and thorough practitioner. He truly cares about his patients. On the first appointment, he listened to my particular case for more than an hour, amazing! He not only listened but asked poignant questions, all in order to help us find some of the potential root causes of my symptoms... physical exhaustion, stress and others. At the end of the appointment, we developed a plan that I was comfortable with that included twice per month acupuncture sessions as well as some herbal supplements. Important to also mention that he was very respectful of the supplements I was already taking. Within a couple of days of the first sessions and taking the herbal medicines, I can feel my body in a much better state! All and all, you know you're in good caring hands in his care. read more

Dr. Karma is FANTASTIC. He's my healer. I've suffered with injuries on my right hip and leg since 2018 plus my system has been all out of wack. The regular doctors and physical therapy only helped to manage the pain. Dr.Karma is going to the source and healing my injuries and my system. I'm very grateful to Dr.Karma and I'm glad we are on this journey together. I also have been taking his herbal solutions and they've done wonders for my system. I had a lot of inflammation in my body. Especially around my neck under my chin. It had been swollen for over a year. Again regular doctors either didn't care or didn't understand what was going on. After the 1st session the swelling went down by 70 % it was amazing I looked like myself again. Thank you Dr. Karma I so appreciate your talents as a healer. Oh , and for those who haven't had acupuncture before, I've been to other acupuncturists and Dr. Karma by far is the best. It never hurts. Very relaxing I wish I had known about Dr. Karma in 2018. I would have come to him right after my injuries and saved myself three years of pain. Thank you again, Dr. Karma read more

I had a sudden back issue resulting in 3 herniated discs. I have had no relief which caused me immense mental anguish. I went on muscle relaxers and steroids but it was only a bandaid. After a lot of research, I found Dr. Mukunda Karma. After one session with Mukunda, I was able to walk again. I have a lot of healing to go but I am on the right track. I am so happy I found someone who could give me ongoing care and treatment. He explained everything thoroughly and had a nice clean office. I am now a strong believer in acupuncture. Thank you, Mukunda for your incredible care. read more

So so grateful to have been introduced to Dr. Karma and his medicines. I had chronic auto-immune issues for as long as I could remember -- specifically relating to Lyme disease 8 years ago. I have tried pretty much every supplement on the planet, and have never found any consistent shifts in symptoms. Within a few weeks of taking dr. Karmas herbal medicines for the liver and the kidneys, I felt significantly better. My digestion was better, my mood was better and people kept commenting on how great I was looking. I started to realize that my lymph was being cleaned and the puffiness in my neck and my face that I had become used to was disappearing and definition was coming back. It sounds like a small thing -- but it was deeply representative of my whole system healing and I am so so grateful. As I said, I have spent fifteen years at least trying to feel better physically and have tried SOOOO many things. This was the first very obvious and tangible shifts, both internally and externally. Thank you so much Dr. Karma. I am so happy to have found you and want the whole world to receive your healing gifts. It is life changing. read more

I hurt my shoulder at the gym by lifting weights that were too heavy for me. I went to two different healers over a period of a couple weeks without receiving any positive results. My shoulder remained painful and it was difficult to even sleep at night. I did not know Dr. Karma at the time and then, by luck, I met him and he started acupuncture on me. It took about three sessions and I was completely healed. Dr. Karma is a truly gifted healer. He also formulates and sells some amazing products. I highly recommend his services. read more

A bit pricy, but as I am a firm believer that health is wealth and without your health you have nothing, I was willing to cough up the change. In retrospect, the price that Dr Karma charges is very slight for the value he delivers in his practice; he's had decades of valuable and worldly experience, he is very knowledgeable and insightful on the intricacies of the human body and what fundamentally caters to its smooth functioning. Don't expect to come in with out having to alter your diet and discontinue eating the things we all know better than to consume (I had to look critically at my sugar addiction, and kick the habit) too much of if you sincerely want long lasting results. He is trustworthy and honest and delivers what I see as consistently great work. Definitely the best functional medicine doctor on the west side that I've met! read more

Dr.Karma is wonderful. He is a true healer. I had a chronic condition that I was referred to for surgery, but I opted to work with Dr.Karma first and see if I can clear the disease without it - and I healed in 6 months with his tonics and treatments. He is a hidden gem in our community! read more

I believe Dr. Karmacharya is a rare healer, not just a practitioner. I've been to about five different acupuncturists in LA over the years. Some good, some not so, but I didn't want to go to Santa Monica or Redondo Beach anymore with the election traffic, and I needed someone local. His background intrigued me - he's a Nepalese whose father was a herbalist. I learned that he actually has a Ph.D. in engineering from a prestigious Japanese national university, so he can also speak Japanese fluently. He's also a cancer survivor. I went in for muscular oriented pain, mostly in my shoulder and wrist. He took the time to discuss my situation and examined my body, then worked on my pain as well as the realignment of my energy. After the session, there was an immediate reduction in pain and overall sense of relaxation of the body. We discussed a bigger direction to my better overall health (I should add I workout every day, do yoga, swim, etc.) and suggested that I have my blood test with a doctor so he can also check (which I'm arranging it now - but UCLA Med takes two weeks to make an appointment!) . I've had a high cholesterol level before, so it was a good reminder (but how did he know? I work out regularly and overall in physically good fit). Dr. Karma's location is residential so don't be alarmed. He doesn't seem very organized at first, but he'll focus on you completely. And if you've experienced Chi or Reiki, you'll feel his energy as he works on you. I think some of the Yelpers who wrote is right -- Dr. Karma is a rare find. I will be bringing my family here. My initial fee was $150 (with $50 Yelp discount,) and $100 per session - which is slightly higher than other places, but the difference is worth it). read more

Hello Everyone!!!! I was diagnosed with Mild/Moderate Anxiety/Depression (Lexapro, Celexa and Prozac were a "NO" for me when my MD offered it). I also have sciatica pain since my pregnancy. My doctor said the sciatica pain would go away after giving birth since my son would no longer be leaning towards that part of my body (but it didn't and Neurontin and Flexeril were also a "NO" for me). I started going with Dr. K about 4 months ago. I can honestly say that my sciatica pain has improved tremendously. Also, his "Anxlyse" drops have helped me with my anxiety and depression. I would totally recommend Dr. K to everyone. read more

This was my first experience with acupuncture and holistic healing ever. Although my initial response was a bit hesitant, I continued to go through with it because no one else could help me. Im a 30 year old vibrant young woman, whom has been dealing with debilating symptoms for the past 4 months. I've visited the ER nearly 20 times this year alone. Ive seen about 15 different specialist cardoligist, neurologist, rheumotoligist, severel general practioners and on and on. No one was able to or willing to help me, i was giving anti-depressents and shoved out the door. Upon meeting Mr. KARMA he was very welcoming and his office which is in a residentual place also had a very welcoming vibe. The moment i sat in his patient chair he began to listen with detail of all my problems and frustrations, giving his thoughts and advice as well. He then laid his hands on my pulse and was able to detect issues and pains i had going on in my body that i didnt explain to him as of yet ( that absolutely wowed me). He was also able to tell me i have some form of fibromyalgia, which no doctor has been willing to do. As we proceeded with the session he was very gentle making sure i was comfortable at all times. Immediately after i felt a sense of rejuvination and good energy. He gave me healing medicines according to my needs. It was a great first experience. I will be writting back soon about the effects of the medicines, once ive been using them long enough. However, i highly recommend him. read more

Dr. Karma is a fabulous and kind practitioner. I have tried acupuncture multiple times in the past but never really had results. But this past summer I started having joint pains and was worried that I might be getting rheumatoid arthritis. Terrified, I started weighing my options. I chose Dr. Karma as one of my methods of healing and am so happy I did! I literally felt better EACH time I saw him. Like, immediately. And within 6 weeks or so, the pain was gone and hasn't come back in months. I highly recommend giving his treatments a chance. He's really quite magical. :) read more

After visiting two other acupuncturists I found a listing for Dr Karmacharya (aka Dr Karma) and went to visit him for treatment on my left knee. I had been experiencing chronic pain since a weightlifting session in the gym that left me with what I thought was a simple pulled muscle. However it never healed and the pain worsened to the point that I had to support myself going down the stairs. Our house is on multiple levels so this unfortunately was a frequent occurrence. Moreover if I attempted to squat down the pain I experienced standing back up was excruciating. I was concerned that if I visited a western doctor I would quickly find myself having surgery and this was something that I wanted to avoid if at all possible. Unfortunately the last acupuncturist I saw, prior to visiting Dr Karma, was not very encouraging and suggested I get an MRI. Instead I decided to try one more acupuncturist. I was focused on someone with TCM experience as several years prior I had visited an acupuncturist with good results. Well, from my first session with Dr Karma the pain was reduced and I had a strong conviction after I left that I had finally found someone who could successfully treat the problem. I saw him twice a week for the next 3 weeks and perhaps 4 sessions thereafter. End Result? The pain was completely gone and I had full range of motion again without discomfort. Dr Karma's treatments were the reason I was able to avoid having a surgical procedure and its attendant costs, recovery time and risks. He is a gifted healer and I am very thankful that I found him. One other note...my two daughters and my wife and I continue to see him every 4-6 weeks for general health and rebalancing purposes. Highly recommended. read more

I came to Dr. Karma after feeling very sick for several weeks. After several months of extreme fatigue, anxiety and dealing with digestive issues and anemia, I started looking for an alternative to Western medicine. I came to him originally for Acupuncture (as it was something I had not tried yet). After a couple of acupuncture treatments and plust taking Dr. Karma's HepaCtn, Hemoglobin and Chin+Agra, I have been feelig like myself again. Dr. Karma is a very caring doctor that really takes the time to understand your symptoms. He also calls and checks to see how you're feeling and how the herbal medicines and treatment are working for you. I came to Dr.Karma for a rash on my face that's been there for years and the dermatologist gave me creams that only irritated the problem. I very highly recommend Dr. Karma!!!!!!! My review for Dr. Mukunda Karmacharya (Dr. Karma aka Dr. Everything as I have come to call him), is long overdue! I first started seeing Dr. Karma last year in June 2018 after a fall accident for multiple issues in many parts of my body including my head, (concussion/ post concussion/ severe head pain, brain fog, scalp pain, memory & concentration issues), neck pain, back pain, hip pain, left hand & left knee and left foot pain. Dr. Karma is one of the VERY BEST most kind, compassionate, caring, inspirational persons that I have ever met who genuinely cares for his patients and is very knowledgeable and effective in his craft!!! Dr. Karma is not only an acupuncturist but also is a medical doctor licensed in Mexico and a true healer. He is also trained and excellent and very effective in treating various other medical, emotional and mental conditions too. He has the best attitude and demeanor of any medical professional I ever came across (and there have been a lot!) Dr. Karma treats me with utmost care and takes his time to do the needed treatment in its entirety without rushing. He always quickly finds time for appointments and I never need to wait long for my appointments. He also sees patients on weekends too. Dr. Karma is the best acupuncturist I have ever been to in my entire life and the best healer. I have been in a lot of high level pain for many many months and when I am on his table during his treatment I am pain free and leave feeling lighter and better!!! In addition to Dr. Karma's treatments, he also has hand crafted herb concoctions that are very beneficial that he has given me as well. I have made significant leeway in my healing thanks to the help and support of Dr. Karma. I honestly do no know where I would be without Dr. Karma's help and support. Dr. Karma is my best find for healing in all of LA (all of the USA) and I feel very lucky and blessed to have found him and to receive treatments and his herbal supplements from him!!! Dr. Karma (aka Dr. Everything) has made a significant difference in my healing and in helping me to improve the quality of my life during this challenging phase. Look no further than Dr. Karma. He is my Healing Angel and you will be very glad you came to see him too!!! Thank you Dear Dr. Karma!!!!!! I am sincerely very grateful to you from the innermost depths of my heart! Marta read more

I felt that I contracted Covid19 on December 27, 2020. At the beginning my symptoms were of a regular flu. After my symptoms worsened, I went fir a Covid test. On January 5,2021, I tested positive. I had severe migraine headaches, difficulty breathing and also severe fatigue. I called Dr. Karma, and he prescribed Cluster Antiopyretic and Hepacure, which my son picked up from his office. I took the this herbal medicine as directed. On January 17, 2021, I retested, and came out positive (which is what the CDC) said could happen. I continued taking the Cluster Antipyretic and the Hepacure. My symptoms improved immensely. The fatigue was now just a "tiredness". My breathing had improved and my migraines finally went away. I retested in February 14, 2021 and tested Negative fir the first time. Thank you Dr. Karma for a healthier solution, instead of the chemicals which cause damage to my organism. read more

I first came to Dr. Karma 2 years ago because of a patch of small, unsightly pimples that had surfaced near my nose. I had previously seen a dermatologist who told me the problem was due to the weather and prescribed me hydrocortisone, a steroid. After one year of using the steroids to suppress the problem without a resolution, I wanted a real solution. I decided to give alternative medicine a shot and I'm glad I did. Dr. Karma was very kind and caring and after assessing me he told me there was a toxin trying to escape my system. He gave me his herbal liver cleanser and told me it would take 4 to 5 months for my body to generate new, clean blood. I continued using the steroids to suppress the problem. Sure enough, within 4 and 1/2 months of treatment and using the herbal liver cleanser, I was healed! I wasn't on steroids any longer. I now see Dr. Karma regularly for preventive care and have remained in great health. Thank you Dr. Karma! read more

There are some things in life that are truly life changing and inspiring. Dr. Karmacharya is nothing short of that. His caring approach, extensive knowledge of the mind and body and willing to truly help others in more than just acupuncture is a lifesaver. I initially came to Dr. Karma because of overthinking and being able not to focus in life do to some personal situations i went through last year. From the beginning he truly takes his time to listen and not only help assist with healing the body but the mind as well, which is an important part to ones overall health. I stuck and trusted the acupuncture sessions which relieved blockages of energy in the body. I didn't know what to expect or how soon to see result but over the course of the following days weeks Ive noticed a huge improvement, almost a body high full of good energy, positivity, something i can't truly explain. It sad the way the health care system is here in The US, it came down to the point where i first come to Dr. Karma before my primary doctor, as he treats the root solution and not just prescribes medicine. He also makes his own natural remedies which have assisted in self healing. Truly recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dr. Karma. read more

I came to Dr. Karma after being diagnosed with severe anxiety. I had seen 4 doctors who all told me to take Zoloft- as this was the only way I was going to get better. I decided this was not the route I wanted to take. Thankfully, I found Dr. Karma on Yelp. His treatments have made a huge difference for me. From day 1- I started to feel a bit more like myself again. It's been 4 months now- and I feel SO much better. I went from severe insomnia to restful sleep at night. From panic attacks to enjoying a happy, normal life. I did not take the Zoloft. I'm taking Dr. Karma's herbal supplements instead. Some of which are not at all pleasant tasting, but the results are truly worth it. My boyfriend saw how much the treatments have done for me and is a patient now as well. I would like to add that I took Dr. Karma's Pcosine, Lipotyn, and Hypatyn. After 4 months he put his hands over my overy's and said he thought my cysts were mostly gone; but I should have an ultrasound to check. My overy's have always been covered with cysts (so that I could not ovulate) and look like swiss cheese on an ultrasound. I went in and found out my overies were nearly clear of cysts!!! My left overy had been 41x69mm and had gone down to 32x21. My right overy had been 58x48mm and had gone down to 36x22. I have now just ovulated by myself; which I have been unable to do. I googled Santa Monica acupuncturists my Rheumatologist had been telling me everything I described to her sounds energy related and does not fit into a western med model. The er didnt help they didn't know what to do. I had a wave of dizziness spinning ,difficulty to talk ,difficulty breathing and horrible nerve pain and burning and spasms in my whole spine. how much progress we have made from the first 6 weeks of our time together dr. karma!!! I am forever grateful for your wisdom, nurturing soul, and for setting me on the path to success. you have been nothing short of a miracle in my life. reading my initial review when we were just getting started on the 4-6 month protocol, it's crazy to think how many symptoms I was dealing with, i feel distant from these symptoms now, i no longer struggle in life to "hold on", i feel more alive than ever before, i have clarity and I can do more with less side effects. Dr. Karma has become more like family to my fiancé and I over the course of such a short period of time, I can't stress enough how grateful I am to have you in my life on this healing journey. I stayed focused on Dr. Karma's daily protocol of Hemoglobin (i had major major blood deficiency), Fibro (cleared my brain fog, helped with thyroid issues, headaches, energy levels, I have reduced the daily use of this because I rarely have these symptoms anymore), lipothn (inflammation, bloating, fighting off infections, overall toxicity in the body) and hepacure (great for hangovers, I can now drink again! and most importantly to support my liver, from birth control I became extremely estrogen dominant, and this helped clear these estrogens out). I was concerned with how to fix the thyroid, adrenals, hormone imbalance, cholesterol issues, he works on these synergistically and he can feel your energy, he can see what you need, and he addresses these at each visit... he just knows and you have to trust him and take his advise. he's also brought up a lot of my physiology and psychology and how this is also a large factor into my prior health issues, he guides you along the way to release those things that do not serve you and to feel less stressed about your symptoms and more focused on the good, which helped me get out of the rut of thinking that my symptoms would always stay present. i am working more than i have these last 6 years, after a 2 week photoshoot my energy felt depleted and as though a couple of my symptoms were starting to show face again, he already knew this by just looking at me, and told me what I need to do to make sure that i am supporting my body at times of high stress so that I am capable of executing the tasks and coming out with only minor affects of it. I've learned that my body is sensitive to stress too, and how to be conscious of not setting off triggers. he said i may have another roller coaster at some point in my life, but this will be much less time, i will bounce back much quicker and it'll be more manageable and he believes and so do I that I will never be back in that place that I was for 6 years. it took just over 6 months to get to where I am, i think because i was struggling for so long, it took longer for my body to work through and come out the other end. he taught me a great exercise which is on his website, it helps to circulate my blood and i do this exercise every other day, my legs feel super lose and my whole body radiates energy through it, followed by walking 5 miles a day (I couldn't do this in 6 years!!!). I am treated for acupuncture a few times a week, and I now have my fiancé working on a few of his needs with Dr. Karma. High Recommend Dr. Karma!!!! read more
