We have stayed at karins guesthouse last year and were honestly very disappointed about our stay. We have stayed in many guesthouses and hotels all over the world but here you have 100 rules to follow. You can get a car to rent but you won't be allowed to drive wherever you want, if you wanna go in a bigger town you're not allowed to do so you have to stay in the region, you can't do as much miles as you want on the car and if you're unlucky and you have an accident with the car you would have to pay a 2000$ incident fee! If you stay in the guesthouse there will never be a mate cleaning the rooms, but before you leave you have to clean all the rooms yourself and clean the car from inside and outside! This group owns and operates a few different guesthouses. The one in Gilrath is probably the nicest. They come with everything you need and have wifi and satellite TV that includes plenty of English channels. The owners are nice, but they have people move around a lot to accommodate their other plans/bookings. I had an early booking for the place in Gilrath and ended up having to move to one of their other houses. Overall good place to stay. read more
