I wasn't asking how much it was going to be or if it was worth it, I just don't want to get rid of the gold this piece of jewelry has. I went here for all the nice reviews they have but my experience was horrible. UPDATE: the owner decided to comment about this so I decided to do so as well. How sad it is to know that even being a business owner you have no professionalism to simply admit y'all did wrong. 1. It wasn't a ring 2. Gold is gold. My CHAIN, not ring, had popped and all I wanted was to fix it. Sorry y'all have no experience to do the job I guess. Readers looking for a good jewelry store, I recommend Twins Jewelry!

Montalvo is the kinda big fish in small pond type of game that is kind of annoying. I mean, I'm all about supporting local businesses, but the uppity attitude of a local gone big is just too much sometimes. They love the fact that they carry so many name brands (their jewelery collection includes Scott Kay, Yurman, and Dweck and their watch collection includes Jaeger, Breitling, and Omega), but they kinda flaunt it. To them, if it carries a name brand, that should sell itself and they shouldn't have to do any work. The salespeople here are trained to be pretty and smile a lot. And point out the diamonds. Evidently that's what makes things worth buying. I have huge issues with salespeople that don't know their out merchandise. If you don't know the material, at least look it up. Each of these major brands will give booklets explaining their pieces--the least you could do is get the book out and pretend to look for an answer to my question. My other major beef with this store (and this really happens in most places in the Valley, so I can't be too upset about it) is that if you don't look like you speak Spanish, they'll talk about you right in front of your face. No, I'm not Hispanic, but I do speak Spanish and telling your employee not to give me too much time is just stupid. Spanish is just so commonly spoken, I'm not sure why you'd think that would be okay. In the end though, they can get some hard to find pieces and they generally are pretty professional. I'm willing to give them that extra half star only because they are the lesser of some other evils as far as jewelery stores in McAllen. In other cities they just wouldn't last.

SERIOUS WARNING I am…read moreposting this review to warn the public and to bring serious concerns about this business to Google's attention. I saw jewelry, including a gold chain, being advertised for sale through a TikTok account that represented itself as being connected to this jewelry business. Based on the TikTok posts and the information provided through the account, I believed I was dealing with a legitimate jewelry business. I proceeded with the purchase and sent the requested payment for the gold chain. After receiving my money, the seller stopped responding to my messages and has not provided the jewelry or a reasonable explanation regarding my payment. The seller also emailed me a receipt for the transaction, which I have uploaded with this review as documentation. I have also retained screenshots of the TikTok account, the jewelry advertisement, my communications with the seller, and proof of payment. This is extremely serious. If this TikTok account is falsely representing itself as this business, other customers could potentially be at risk of losing their money as well. I am asking Google to investigate this business listing and the TikTok account representing itself as this business. If the account is fraudulent or falsely representing this business, I am asking Google to take appropriate action and remove or restrict the fraudulent account/listing. I am also asking the business to publicly clarify whether this TikTok account is legitimately affiliated with them. If it is not, the business should immediately warn customers and take steps to prevent others from being misled. DO NOT SEND MONEY UNTIL YOU HAVE VERIFIED WHO YOU ARE ACTUALLY DEALING WITH. I am posting this review so other people can see what happened before sending their money. I have uploaded the receipt I received from the seller and have documentation available to support my experience.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & JEWELRY is CRAP, I will be finding another jeweler for my business,…read morebecause they do a good job at selling but once you have an issue they are rude and act like they don't care since they've already gotten your money. We placed two separate orders and left down payments and never heard back from them. It took us 2 months later to call and ask about our order when they said "oh, we can't make it" but we'll give you credit . Hell no we want our money back and this has been over 6 months! Then I paid 850.00 on this ring that has broken TWICE and I've had to pay to replace both times. This second time it's at there store now. Horrible service save your money go somewhere else. I asked the lady yesterday how much we've spent since purchasing our jewelry there and it's been over $15k and for me to get shitty jewelry like this. Don't waste your time! And when you call number it's ALWAYS the same thing they'll call you back because there so busy and not once have we ever received a call. the ring I purchased was 850.00 and completely fell apart so I asked if I could exchange it they wanted to give me 400 credit . so I said no and now I have to pay again to have ring fixed because this is the second time it's broken. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THEM. ESPECIALLY THE HOUSTON LOCATION... THEY SUCK!!!
