She went through a year of hell because she picked the wrong dentist to fix her smile. She picked one in the area that promoted and promised a gorgeous smile. She assured Mary Ellen wonderful results. She butchered Mary Ellen, left her with a partial while healing that didn't fit. She wanted to rush through the process, and Mary Ellen could see that something was wrong. She was without a face for a year. Having to wear a mask, have trouble eating, and have to live with the mistakes a general dentist made until she healed as she searched for someone she could trust. By the grace of God, she came across Dr. Sirakian. His website was very informative. Explained everything thoroughly. We were met by his assistant Robin, who was so kind and professional. Mary Ellen sat with Dr. Sirakian, and could feel that she was in the right hands. He could see the significant damage the other dentist did. He said no one leaves my office without a smile. He actually fixed the partial so that she could walk out feeling herself until Dr Sirakian could fix her smile permanently. Dr Sirakian is an artist, he has several years of education above and beyond a general dentist. I accompanied Mary Ellen to her appointments and to her actual surgery. Each time we were both impressed by the whole office. Dr. Sirakian is simply the best with his technique and approach. The whole office is professional and really caring. If you need implants I encourage you to see Dr. Sirakian, you won't be disappointed. Teeth are important and the dentist you go to should know how to treat your smile.

Deb at the desk is wonderful. She takes the time to answer any questions you may have, as well as explain your insurance to you. The hygienist is very personable and goes over everything in detail before she does it. Dr. Kalil is the perfect combination of humorous and earnest. You feel at ease from the moment he walks in the room. I would recommend him to anyone with or without a fear of dentists!

I had one terrible visit a few years ago with a dental hygienist who completely ravaged my gums, but I haven't seen her since so I don't think it's anything to worry about. The office isn't often crowded and I've always been seen within five or ten minutes of my appointment time (although there are plenty of magazines to peruse if the wait is longer than expected). It's a very clean, organized facility, but not sterile-looking enough to be scary. I've never dreaded going to the dentist here, and I've also never had a cavity. The schedule is flexible, the staff friendly (they know me by name, still, even though I don't go as often as they or I would like), and the visits are generally quick and efficient. I leave each time with a little goody bag containing a toothbrush, floss, and a pack of Stim-U-Dent plaque removers. The location is convenient; it's right down the street from the Loop shopping center, and there's always plenty of free parking. As far as I know, they accept both Delta Dental and MetLife. I'm not sure what other dental health insurance plans there are out there, but I've never had problems with either of those. All in all, Kalil Dental is a great place and you shouldn't hesitate to entrust them with your teeth's health.

Although I was under the Impression all was ok a problem developed right after my last visit to my previous dentist. Full mouth x-rays that I witnessed proved a very different story resulting in crowns, two implants, and a root canal on a previously crowned tooth. All this has been restored and saved with the utmost care and expertise. Dr. Wu was highly recommend and I feel fortunate to have been a receipt of that recommendation. Her staff is well informed and attentive. On my first visit the one staff member available Stephanie made me feel right at home. My wish is that I will be a patient here for the foreseeable future.

This time, however, the experience was completely different. When booking, I was told whitening now required a cleaning. Fine -- I agreed. But once I arrived, I was suddenly "required" to also do xrays and a full exam, despite explaining that I already have a regular dentist and was only there for whitening. After back and forth with the staff, hygienist, Dr. Wu, and her junior dentist, I reluctantly submitted. At checkout, the receptionist told me how "lucky" I was because Dr. Wu didn't charge for the xrays or exam. Yet the whitening itself -- originally quoted at $650 -- was billed at $899. With the cleaning, my total was over $1,000. When I questioned the discrepancy, the receptionist and office manager insisted that $899 was the "standard price" and that I must be mistaken. To test this, I had my son call the office weeks later. He was quoted $650 for whitening, with no mention of mandatory cleaning, xrays, or exam.
