As I looked around, at thought.....Are we REALLY out in the sticks of East Texas with this all this stuff.....it was impressive. However, I couldn't find a thing in my size.So I'm thinking one star. Yeah. THAT will show them!! But I'm gonna give Laura West a break....probably be cause she....er..uh....I mean HER SHOP....was just So Darn Cute. She.....(drat)...I mean her SHOP - was hott stuff. Just call me Goldilocks as it was either too big or too small, too hot or to cold. The sweet ladies who work here are helpful and complimentary. If it doesn't look good, you will hear, "That's nice but I think a different color on you would be better." Not: "That makes you look like a sow in heat". Many items were on sale and the jewelry on the front table is gorgeous and inexpensive.

I got four pairs of ducky little shoes on sale for…read moreabout $10 each, but still great quality, and a whole heap of lovely, frilly, exquisite dresses, and the owner was quite helpful and attentive and gracious. She gave me a good deal on several items. The workmanship of the clothing is very nice, and I got some timeless, understated, elegant things. A soft, creamy cloud blue paisley dress with a confection of ruffles edging the neckline, a light and airy rosebud blush blouse with gathers floating in the back, a pale pink cotton top crusted with vanilla lace and trimmed out with little flounce sleeves in a charming cut. The shop does have quite a few cheerful, bright, colorful clothes if that's more your style, but I usually stick with blush and white so that matching tops and bottoms is easier. In fact, the shop is practically bursting with clothes, and I kept inadvertently knocking hangers off of the racks because they were so crowded. It's the one small thing this owner could improve on--possibly getting more racks and arranging everything in a more orderly, spacious display. Well, that, and starting her own website and online presence so that people can see pictures of her beautiful clothes and even order online!!

Along with so many one-of-a-kind little girl & boy's clothing, messenger boy hats, Noggin' Warmers, bonnets, bow headbands, booties, shoes, tutu's, monogrammed shirts, bedding, diaper bags & books, there were the MOST beautiful little lamb banks & room decor! The owner was so friendly & helpful! I also picked up several of the cutest Vintage Paper Mache' Easter Bunnies & Chicks by Debra Schoch Collection.... Bethany Lowe Designs. Great little boutique right here in our small town Variety of sizes and large selection of styles-…read morealmost everything is soft, comfy and flattering without being ugly or out of style. At first I was a little apprehensive as their prices are a bit higher than I normally pay (around $30 for a top) but after I purchased a few items on clearance I fell in love with their quality and fit! Those few items became my favorite pieces in my closet and now I don't mind paying full price for a great staple piece as I am confident it will last and hold its shape.
