So, I happened to go to TSC and noticed Phil's Carpet. I went inside and was introduced to Eddie -a sales representative. Eddie was great at listening to my needs. A true people person. After getting 12 samples and some additional information, I was able to proceed. I paid half down and balance at the end. Phil's is not an absolute store but a flexible one. Next, Eddie worked miracles with scheduling and I got an early morning install. Roberto and Axel came at the promised time to the second! After a few minutes of viewing the area to be carpeted, Roberto went to work. Padding down carpeting down and it was over. Quality assurance was performed from start to finish. There were no loose fibers to be seen. In all, Phil's Carpet is one of the best flooring stores in our area. I would go to Phil's before trying Knoxville stores. Finally , I have to have my kitchen hardwood replaced and I WILL go to Phil's Carpet for my job. Yes, they install hardwood .

We discussed the job, and I expressed our expectations for a thorough and satisfactory outcome. After about one and a half hours of work, she presented the supposed results of her efforts. Unfortunately, the "cleaning" she claimed to have done left much to be desired. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, she insisted that the carpet was as good as it could get and promptly collected payment before departing. Upon closer inspection, our disappointment grew. We discovered areas on the stairs where the scrubber had seemingly been left too long, resulting in what looked like burn marks. Seeking a genuinely clean, fresh outcome, we took matters into our own hands, using a Simple Green solution in our Hoover. The stark difference between the areas we cleaned and those Oxi Fresh deemed "clean" was undeniable. In an attempt to address the issues, I reached out to the company, detailing the problems and requesting a redo of the job. Shockingly, I was informed that any warranty was voided because I had used Simple Green, and they refused to rectify the situation. Despite my plea, the owner declined to address the larger carpeted area but reluctantly agreed to redo the stairs. Undeterred, my wife and I spent hours scrubbing the carpet ourselves with an eight-year-old Hoover. Surprisingly, our efforts yielded impressive results - the carpet looked new and smelled refreshing. This disappointing experience with Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning in Knoxville, TN, has taught us not to rely on their services again. They came and measured for hardwoods and carpet. Their carpet installers never showed up. They had to hire a competitor of theirs to come in and do the carpet (that group actually did a great job). They also measured for our hardwood floors. I can understand a 5% overage on measurements, but we have 15% overage, 9 boxes or roughly 225 square feet leftover. They refuse to return this material as well, so now I'm stuck with 9 boxes of flooring to try and move. I will not do business with this company again.
