Driving along, we saw their bill board... "2000 rugs on…read moredisplay". We have been looking to buy a new area rug, so we decided to see if there really was that many rugs to look at. WELL THERE ARE THAT MANY!!! The staff were very friendly and gave us a quick explanation of their layout and we were encouraged to look for as long as we wanted. We spend a couple hours looking at all the rugs hanging on display racks. If a person can't find what they want here looking for a rug, then they may be stuck with bare floors. We picked out 3 that we liked, then we asked if they could hold it for 24 hours while we confirmed our measurements at home and called them back. They were happy to help us. The next day I called back, paid for our rug over the phone, and returned the following day to bring it home. The store had it rolled and wrapped in very heavy plastic to protect it on our 45 minute drive home. Helped me load it up and we were on our way home. We are extremely happy we spotted that bill board. Loving our new rug. It looks and feels AWSOME in our home. We will definitely be returning for any future floor coving needs.

Jason was the first person to suggest an alternative "fix"! Managing home improvements can be overwhelming, but the team at Broadway Carpets made her feel supported and respected from start to finish. When her order arrived, she was dealing with an unexpected leak and the staff was incredibly understanding. As a local business, they clearly take pride in looking after their community; they were flexible with her schedule and waited months to deliver the rug until it was truly convenient for her. Once they arrived, they didn't just drop it off--they made sure to set it perfectly in place for her. If you are looking for a company that combines professional expertise with genuine kindness and flexibility, this is the place. They truly went above and beyond for my mother. Thank you Broadway Carpets for being good humans.

We have LVT and LVP put in as well and that turned out to be nicer than we could have expected. We had a terrible mishap with Kitchen Sales remodeling our kitchen while we were on Spring Break…read more Unfortunately, we came home to a water leak in back of the refrigerator that caused our hickory floors to buckle like tee-pees in 2 areas of our living room and kitchen. We also had a subpar sanding job from the original installer, so this new repair took extra sanding throughout our entire downstairs floor. One more to add, we had cupping when summertime came around. Chip Auten was my first thought of who could help us with this hardwood floor repair. Chip came right over to assess the damage and came up with a plan. One thing about Chip and his crew, they know their stuff about real hardwood, especially, Hickory. They delivered the wood planks and let them acclimate for 2 weeks. Then, scheduled the installation of the wood planks which took 2-3 days. The good news is we left for a 2 week vacation while they were doing the work. The crew was meticulous about dust and cleaning! Everyday during the install, we saw no dirt or signs of work being done in our kitchen! Mace was amazing and knowledgeable. Overall, the sanding took a little longer but the end result is beautiful. The hickory shows character with different grains and detail. The repair job came out excellent. I'll try to post before and after pictures of Auten Wide Plank Repair. Thank you so much for helping us through this truly stressful kitchen remodel. Chip does what he says and says what he does. The install crew are honest and trustworthy as they were working in our house while we were on vacation. Wonderful job! I would gladly recommend Chip Auten and his team for anyone who is looking for real wide plank hardwood installation.

I have since learned that was key for the longevity of the wood floors. They are beautiful and we are very proud of them Susan Greer Fox Den

Last year my wife and I bought a large area rug for our sunroom. Recently we decided to remodel and…read morethe rug was too large. Instead of buying a new one we decided to see if we could find a place where it could be cut it in half and the edges bound. We called around and were referred to The Carpet Workroom on Chapman Hwy. We called the business, explained our situation and they said they would be more than happy and able to help us. We headed out with our carpet and when we got to the general address area, we could not find the business. We drove back-and-forth on Chapman Hwy a couple of times and then we spotted a very small sign directing us to the back of a large, white, 4 story abandoned building. Upon pulling into the gravel driveway, we went around back and there it was. Inside it was nothing fancy but rolls of carpet were stacked neatly along the side walls. We were greeted by an employee, explained our requests and one week later the rug had been cut and bound to our total satisfaction. The price was extremely reasonable and we will definitely recommend this business for others with similar needs. They're fast, fair, professional and they won't pull the rug out from under you.

This could have been a five star rating except for one thing. After running my credit card, I was…read moretold the price of the service was $125 rather than $100. If I had been told this in advance, probably I would have agreed, but this was not the case. The work was to trim and bind a piece of carpet to be 10 X 20 feet. When discussing over the phone, I was told that they had over 300 colors of binding material and that dark gray would not be a problem. When I actually got there, there was no dark gray and black had to be used. To avoid a second trip to Knoxville, I asked if the work could be done that morning and was told yes. No extra fee was mentioned. Also, I asked for a clear plastic carpet bag which was provided. Service and quality of work was good. Black binding was acceptable. My only complaint is that it was only after running my credit card that the additional fee was mentioned.
