When her order arrived, she was dealing with an unexpected leak and the staff was incredibly understanding. As a local business, they clearly take pride in looking after their community; they were flexible with her schedule and waited months to deliver the rug until it was truly convenient for her. I purchased tile from Kathy K. at this location. I was looking for a blue/gray tile for my master bath. This sounds like an easy endeavor, but I assure you, it was not. Kathy sent me pics of different tile and answered my questions. She is busy with a lot of clients, so an appointment is necessary if you need to do more than browse. I found a tile and had Ceramicsolutionstn.com install it. The installers are excellent as you can see from the picture....I love the tile!!! I also purchased tile for my kitchen backsplash, but that is not installed yet. But I love it and wanted exactly that, so looking forward to that install too!!! Wonder why Broadway Carpets hasn't gotten any love. I haven't been to many carpet stores but I imagine they are all probably set up the same way. While Broadway Carpets appears to have a huge inventory, I have a feeling that is NOT what sets them apart. I was very impressed and touched by the level of service I got from this place. Service makes all the difference in the world. All three times that I went in, I was greeted and attended to promptly. I was patiently shown my options and they were wonderful enough to accelerate completion of my order over a holiday weekend (July 4th). They called me not once, but twice, after my order was ready to be picked up and I can't remember a less stressful pick up process. They forgot to load my carpet pad the first time around. As soon as I walked in the next day, Doug promptly knew why I was back, apologized and got me ready to go in minutes. If I ever need anything flooring related, I won't even consider going somewhere else. I won't even bother to shop around. These guys keep winning the Metropulse Best of Knoxville for a reason. I had an absolutely horrible experience with Broadway Carpets. They installed Mohawk Silk carpet throughout my entire 2 story house and their installers made a horrible mess. They bragged about not measuring the carpet before they cut it saying they just "eyeballed" it. I now have an entire house of carpet with huge lumps that you cannot even run a vacuum cleaner across. There are wrinkles and rolls even in the middle of my living room and every interior doorway, including closet doors that have big wrinkles that you have to step over to get into a room or closet. I have contacted Broadway on many occasions now and they even told me more than a year ago that they would send two brothers who could restretch the carpet (T & J). Of course they never showed up and I still have this disgusting mess which I paid $12,000.00 for. The carpet was sold to me as being their very top quality product. I was lied to, cheated and taken advantage of in every way. Broadway Carpets does not stand behind the product they sell or the work of their very horrible installers (DS, R, and D). Broadway has not even offered to replace this mess with carpet installed correctly. They have done nothing, zero, !!! I can promise them one thing.....I will tell everyone I know and everyone I meet in the future about this. They earned the advertising and I will provide it ! read more

We just relocated to Tennessee from Michigan and it seems Broadway Carpet knows how to treat you right. We ordered some carpet, and our sales man Josh, was just excellent to work with, Actually anyone we talked to there was just the best. From Bo one of the managers to the receptionist, We feel like we got great advise and great carpet for a really fair price. I paid half down when I ordered the carpet and thought I would pay the balance when it was picked up, but just got off the phone with Josh and he said, I pay the balance for the carpet once it is installed and I love it. That is the best service ever, in Michigan nothing leaves the warehouse until it's paid in full. Love the way business is done here. I will never look elsewhere for carpets and will highly recommend them to future buyers. read more

Broadway completely screwed up the tile installation of our new house. They failed to order all the all and associated materials we selected so that complete installation was delayed 9 months. At each phase of installation, tile installers realized they did not have all the materials required, causing month-long delays before all work could be completed. The bathroom tile was installed before the towel racks and handrails were anchored, in reverse order as it should have been. We were forced to settle for a mediocre solution as a result. Broadway carpets does not care about customer satisfaction. read more

BUYER BEWARE - One star is too many for this company that has the worst customer service from the top down (owner to sales people to installation) when a job goes wrong. I recently had a new luxury vinyl floor put down as part of a kitchen remodel, and the installers not only did not know how to pattern match a "splash pattern" vinyl, but they were very sloppy in measuring, cutting, and installing the vinyl (the door thresholds were not in the right place, a floor air vent was not cut around correctly, and the 2 seams agreed upon with the estimator, the salesperson, and location-marked for the installers were not in the right place). In fact the vinyl was cut in one area such that a pattern match could not be made without adding another seam since the installers (Asa and Asa) did not measure correctly. The seams were and still are significantly puckered/bubbled up and a second set of installers sent by Broadway to finish the job and correct this issue (Junior and Chad) told me that there was nothing they could do to fix the seams given the way the vinyl was installed. This second crew of installers reported this condition back to both the salesman (Tom Bomar) as well as one of the installation managers (Tim Young). I have contacted Broadway repeatedly asking how they were going to finish this job or to provide me with a zero balance invoice for the unpaid half of the job. My calls resulted in being treated very rudely by Bomar and the installation manager C.J. Tuttle. Written communication with photos to the owner John Mac has gone unanswered. Broadway continues to send invoices to me for the unpaid balance (around 1/2 of the contract value). I have contacted the Tn Dept. of Consumer Affairs and the BBB as well as posted to Angie's List. The floor looks just terrible at the 2 seam locations and unfortunately, the seams are in the 2 main thoroughfares of my home. It is bad enough to be harassed by a company that will not take responsibility for their poor performance, but my dream kitchen that we have put so much time and money into is marred by this unsightly floor. read more

This sorry company will not take responsibility for damage that was caused by their subcontractor, whom they hired and authorized to do the install. They are giving my elderly parents the run around for ruining their floor and ceiling due to improper installation in an upper bathroom resulting in a water leak due to their incompetence. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND and will be spreading this advice on all available social media outlets I can utilize and word of mouth. Shame on you for taking advantage of the elderly and not standing behind your work. That speaks volumes of your integrity. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! I have been an interior designer in Knoxville and ordered clients, as well as my own flooring from them. Not even 6 months into having our wood floor it started splintering and completely falling apart. I called Broadway and had a "representative of the manufacturer" come out to look at our floors. I was told by the "representative" (I use quotations because he later told me he didn't actually work for the manufacturer) and Kevin from Broadway, that they never recommend putting wood floors in kitchens and that the wood floors that we have could splinter from a child spilling a drink, or a pet's nails, or even high heels..... So who is supposed to own these floors? Someone with no children and no pets that doesn't walk on their floors in shoes???!! It was ridiculous. They took maybe a total of 3 pictures and told me that the manufacturer would get back to me (which the manufacturer did 2 weeks later, telling us that nothing was their fault (that was what we expected from them). But we didn't hear another word from Broadway Carpets, nothing. I cannot tell you how irate this makes me after not only getting our floors there, but client's as well as our office downtown! I will NEVER go back to these people, nor will I ever send a client or friend there again. I even called the clients that I had referred and apologized to them and told them our story. read more
