After not sleeping properly (3-4 interrupted hours per night) for almost seven years due to a head trauma, my husband met with Dr. Becker. She and her team are on their way to cracking the code for my husband's improved sleep and brain health. Every night since being under her care and following her treatment program, he is gaining more and more sleep time. The hours in bed with headphones, unable to sleep because his mind will not stop racing, continue to decline. I cannot offer up enough positive comments for Dr. Becker. She is an outstanding physician with an excellent bedside manner. Her patient, firm and confident approach has enabled him a safe space to share "what's really going on" and ultimately get the specialized care he's needed for over seven years. Also, since seeing Dr. Becker the first time, we've moved from DC to Chicago and she and her team have not missed a beat. We do appointments remotely and all supplements are efficiently shipped. Because, making sure we have what we need when we need them is critical to our improved well being. Thank you Dr. Becker and Alana.

While it was extremely expensive (totaled about $1,000 out of pocket with zero insurance reimbursement), it was 100% worth every penny. I had an ELISA/ACT blood test that revealed all the foods and chemicals in my body causing inflammation and digestive issues. Once I cut all of them out of my diet, the symptoms I'd had since at least the early 1990s disappeared completely! I've recommended Dr. Becker to many friends and colleagues since I saw her. I really believe the entire medical community needs to focus more on what we put in our bodies (and on our skin) and how it affects us. I'm grateful for Dr. Becker and the help she provided me. I believe it may prevent much worse conditions, including stomach or colon cancer, which run in my family.

He is by far the most knowledgeable internist I've ever encountered, and he really takes his time. Meaning he would sit with you, go over your entire medical history, and listens to all your concerns (you wont encounter a dozen of medical assistants who basically act as your doctor using the owner's "MD" title) Heads up, he is a perfectionist, meaning he would spend as much as needed time with each patient, and considering not every patient's condition is the same, he might be running behind, and there might be some wait. But trust me, he is well worth the wait!

I met Dr. Parker in January of 2016. I scheduled an appointment with her for my, at the time one…read moreyear old, son. He had a debilitating skin condition that many other providers could not figure out the root cause of. When we walked in to her office, my son had a debilitating skin condition from head to toe, was not yet crawling, and had a feeding tube. From the moment I met her, her vibe was extremely warm and understanding. I broke down in her office and for the first time felt HEARD. It was a season full of fear and frustration for me, as a first time mom. And after the experience I had with many medical providers in the mainstream medicine world, she was a breath of fresh air. She took on my son's case as if it was so own baby. We worked out a protocol and began the journey to healing my son. By, only, God's grace and Dr. Parker's heart and gift to help patients heal, within about 2-3 weeks of meeting with her; my son began to show SO much improvement. I was able to add other alternative medicine providers to his protocol, which also assisted his healing. By the time he was 3 and a half, my son was growing beautifully. As he should have been. Dr. Parker, personally, not only helped me to help my son but also helped me mentally, emotionally, and physically as a first time mom. Her support was extremely valuable. And till this day still is. I learned a lot from her. She holds such a special place in my heart & for my family. She is family.

When I got pregnant the second time she was the first person I called to make sure her schedule was open. I loved having her spirit in the room while I was birthing and felt so comfortable as she automatically wore a mask as my second child was a COVID baby.

His holistic approach which treats mental and emotional health as directly linked to overall physical health is unique - it's a 2-part visit in which the first visit is about the patient getting to know Dr. Safayan's practice and answering questions related to their health history. The second (which I haven't had yet) is where the actual physical exam takes place. But I felt compelled to submit a review now - have you ever had a medical professional ask you exactly the right questions in such a way as to help you understand the basis of your health concerns (physical or otherwise)? I've had more than a few mental health professionals in my medical history, and no one has ever been as perceptive and astute in helping me better understand my health situation as this one visit with Dr. Safayan. I look forward to the second visit , and to getting a better handle on my health needs than I've had in a very long time.

On 6/7/19 I paid $185.00 for an office visit because, although Dr. Musher is a network provider with United Healthcare, he wanted to take enough payment in case I had not met my deductible. On 8/17/19 my wife (under whose name his office staff had mistakenly filed the insurance claim) called and spoke with the office staff about an EOB showing that I was responsible for only $51.23 and that Dr. Musher owed me a refund of $133.77. UnitedHealthcare had informed me that Dr. Musher was paid electronically on 6/26/19 and was in breach of his network-provider contract by failing to refund me within 30 days. The office staff promised a refund within the week. When a refund that did not arrive as promised, my wife called on 9/5/19 and spoke to Dr. Musher himself. Dr. Musher solicited my wife's agreement that I subscribe to his concierge service. Pressuring her, he told her I had health issues for which he had advised follow-up care. His disclosing my private medical information without my authorization violated HIPAA law. Moreover, this high-pressure marketing of a concierge service in an attempt to credit the $133.77 to concierge subscription fees instead of issuing me a refund check was inappropriate, unprofessional, and unfair and deceptive in violation of the Maryland Consumer Protection Act. I received my refund, but only after two telephone requests, one-and-a-half months from the time of the first request, and two-and-a-half months from the time that my health insurance paid Dr. Musher. In sum, Dr. Musher engages in unfair and deceptive trade practices relating to billing and to inappropriate and unprofessional solicitation for his concierge service, as well as unauthorized disclosure of private medical information. I do not recommend this doctor for anyone.
