I am an oddity in this world for many reasons, not the least of which is my LOVE for going to the dentist. You heard that right. I draw balloons on my calendar beside the name Karen Barwick, for when my family and I arrive, it is nothing short of FUN TIMES! Love Dr. Karen! Love Michelle! Love Quinn! Just can't get enough of all of those ladies at KB's office. The only way it could be better would be if KB would open a water park adjacent to her office. But I digress. Seriously, people, my entire family has traveled one hour back to my hometown to see Dr. Karen twice a year. Why? Because after trying to find a dentist close to home, we found she is worth the drive. She's honest, charming (yes you are, KB), and has skills like no other. She is the Dr. Phil of tooth health. AWESOME STAFF!! Treat me like a person, and always are willing to give you the best. Will call you after visits to make sure you're alright, if any procedures have been done. Listens to your questions, if one can't answer, another will help, or even call you. They call, text, any email you to help you keep up with appointments, and are always helping you on what to do for beneficial oral care at home. They are like family!! read more

Dr. Barwick has been my dentist for over 18 years, and I've always received great, friendly service. Everyone there always makes me feel at home, like we are extended family. I will be very sad whenever Dr. Barwick retires, as me and my kids love her!!! read more

What a great overall experience! From the time I walked in, to the time I left, I was treated with respect. All of the staff took their time with me, answered all of my questions and made me feel that my health and wellbeing was important to them versus just my money. BEST DENTAL PRACTICE EVER!!! After a lifetime dental phobia and moving to Alamance County 2 years ago I was petrified at the prospect of finding a new dentist. First I tried 2 highly advertised practices that had me running away. One was unwelcoming if not rude and the other misrepresented the provider and services. I later discovered the latter put my name on someone else's X-rays! Not willing to settle for substandard care and poor customer service I continued searching until I found Dr. Barwick in Graham. The office is right off of I40 and S. Main. From my initial, in person inquiry I knew was in the right place. The waiting room was modern, spotless, and calming. I was immediately given a sincere welcome by Michelle who patiently listened to my concerns, gave me a reassuring hug, and a tour with staff introductions. Since that moment I have been treated with understanding, kindness, patience, and gentleness that far exceed any of the rare, positive, past experiences I had previously. Dr. Barwick spent 20 +minutes getting to know me before any procedure was done. She reassured me that she and her staff would make every effort to make me comfortable, premed sedation, nitrous oxide, the amazing "Wand", etc. Whatever I needed and that is exactly what they did. It was the best dental experience I have ever had but it did not stop there. The next day one of the staff called me to see how I was doing and if there was anything they could do for me. This was totally unexpected, above and beyond, yet so appreciated. My f/u appt is this week. I have no apprehension at all since I have found the best of the best! read more
