As an non French speaking American in Paris, things can be overwhelming. We stumbled into this…read moreplace on accident based solely on smell. It is a hole in the wall. There are 3 stools at a counter. Then one man making sandwiches and one making galettes(savory crepes).
This is Lebanese French fusion. Don't be afraid of it. It's amazing. I went the safe route and got the Jambon Fromage(Ham and cheese). We also got a chicken, lettuce and garlic one. They were delicious. He made it right in front of us, and it was cool to watch. Our French was not great, so he started speaking English to us. He asked if we were on vacation and we struck up a very friendly conversation. Her was extremely nice, in a city that at times, is not so tourist friendly. Lastly, we got a Nutella galette to go, and it didn't disappoint.
The whole experience here was refreshing. The food was inexpensive and delicious. We may visit here again before we leave Paris.
