Everyone I dealt with was helpful and respectful. The building itself is a good venue. It is easy to move around and the people sitting around us were friendly too. It felt like a good environment to watch big games and enjoy the event. Overall, I had a good time at the T Mobile Center. I would give it 4 stars.

We went here to see TSO (my 4th time, but first time since Covid). It started off bad and then got…read moreworse! TSO was great, but the T-Mobile center itself was a nightmare. First, we had to drive in circles trying to get to the road for the parking garage bc most of the roads near the TMC were closed off by KCPD. Then, when we DID finally get onto the correct street, we sat idling in line on the street waiting to get to the parking garage for OVER an hour. All of this, only to find when we made it there (2 blocks away) that it was full. Yes, it took over an hour to move 2 blocks. And they want to add to the chaos by building a STADIUM down here? I don't think so. I will never go downtown for anything ever again if they do. Anyway, we got lucky after going around the corner (and almost hitting a guy who literally ran out in front of us with a cop watching) and found a lot directly across the street that had just 2 spots left so we actually ended up with better parking than we would have gotten in the garage, but my sister was still royally pissed off about the chaotic traffic. I will acknowledge that they apparently do have handicapped parking somewhere at the TMC, but only about 15ish spots that are first-come first-served and "have been filled for hours" according to the worker we were able to flag down and ask. Mind you, this was after sitting in line on the road for over an hour after driving in circles for another 20 minutes before that. Once we got parked (thank you to the nice men running the lot), we were getting ready to cross the street to the TMC and my sister realized she left her phone in the car, so she had to go back and get it bc, you, digital tickets now. I waited at the corner for her. We crossed the street and arrived at the doors of the TMC and were pleased that we seemed to have missed the giant que to get in bc of the parking fiasco, so that was good. We scanned in and went through security, and of course my sister was stopped by a very rude/nasty lady with an attitude who told her she couldn't take her keychain in "bc it could be used as a weapon." The offending keychain was a safety device you hold in your hand like you would your keys in case you need to defend yourself. They told her she could go put it back in her car, but needed to talk to "someone in a pink shirt so they know to let you back in." She couldn't find them (bc they were all wearing black coats over their pink shirts lol) so she asked a police officer that was working the venue. He asked her what it was; she showed him and he rolled his eyes. The purse checker lady with a power trip ran over and yelled at my sister and the officer, saying "she's already been told what to do," and I guess the officer basically told her to go away bc "I'm having a conversation with her, not you." lol and kudos to KCPD. The officer offered to give her his number and hold onto that part of the keychain for her and meet us after the show to give it back and the lady flipped out again. My sister ended up telling the officer thank you and just taking it back to the car so he helped her talk to someone to ensure she could get back in. Once inside we went to the bathroom (which had a very long line but moved quickly). My stall door wouldn't lock, and my sister said there was poop on the walls of her stall. Gross. Once at our seats things got better. We were crammed in like sardines, but our neighbors were friendly. The show itself was great, but that is not any reflection on the TMC. After this experience, we both said we will not go back to TMC, or any event downtown that isn't at the music hall (they valet) ever again.

We enjoyed our very first KC Current game here a couple of weeks ago!…read more As AMAZING as the on-field talent was, this facility is definitely worth a shout out! Situated north of downtown, right on the Mighty Mo (the river, not the battleship!), the views here are absolutely stunning! Especially from a little higher in the stands on the northeast side, you get an incredible view of the KC downtown skyline, as well as the sun setting and reflecting on the river! WOWWW!!!! I love the size of the stadium - large enough to feel "professional", yet cozy enough to really enjoy the on-field action, and easy to move around and through! The seats are colored TEAL, the lights (can be) colored TEAL, and the swag is definitely colored TEAL!!! This stadium REALLY shines at night, under the lights, when the teal seats light up like a gorgeous blue aquarium! There are concessions galore, an AWESOME team store to update your swag, and even ice cream from one of my absolute favorite KC vendors available: High Hopes (check out that review - INCREDIBLE flavors!)!! Even getting through security and ticketing was far better than your average stadium experience - quick, efficient, and technology-driven! If I'm being super critical, my only knock on the whole place is the (lack of) ease of entry/exit into the complex. Obviously, this is inherent to such a prime, metropolitan location - a tight squeeze into the midtown area was always going to make it difficult to access, especially for weekday gametimes that come up against rush-hour traffic in and out of the downtown area. Unfortunately, on our visit, there was also major construction going on right across the street from the stadium. Bottom line: STUNNING place to view a great game of football (yup, I went there!) in KC!!

It's genuine consideration that I felt especially when they knew it was our first game at CPKC! My entire family enjoyed the upgrade to West club! The food and drinks served were delicious. The featured mixed drink was delicious and I appreciated the treatment and customer service, always friendly with a smile! The energy throughout the game was upbeat and fun! The Surface Tension drum-line and chats kep us, the stadium crowd, engaged and I'm pretty sure the team rallied with every rumble! The KC Current team played against Washington Spirit and won their last game of the season during Current's Female Athlete Night! We truly enjoyed everything! The swag we picked up from different local entities like UMKC, University of Kansas, United Way and League of Women Voters, was a bonus!

Here are some highlights of the gym: *Location: The gym is located above Cosentino's Market and offers up to two hours of free parking in the garage, with access from Main Street and Walnut. *Personal Trainers: The personal trainers are top-notch. I have trained with James, AJ, and Conner. *Group Classes: The group classes are free for members. My favorite is Natalie's Bootcamp, held Monday through Friday at 12:15 PM. (Please check the website for current times, as they can vary). *Facility: The gym is spacious with eight distinct areas, locker rooms, and pool access for members. Despite these positives, my review is not 5 stars due to the following issues: *Movie - Cardio Room: This room has experienced constant hiccups since Genesis took over, and currently, nothing is showing. *Plumbing/Water Issues: Currently, half the sinks in the men's bathroom are out of service. Last month, there was a small flood from the pool during bootcamp, and earlier this year, leaks from the washer flooded the men's locker room for over a week. *Turf: The gym's turf is original from One Life. It was stretched and glued earlier this year but has needed to be replaced for over a year. *Equipment Maintenance: One of the two skill mills has been out of order for six months, and several cardio machines have had "out of order" signs for several weeks. *Cleanliness: I do not believe the gym is deep cleaned very often, as there are dust bunnies and hairballs around most of the equipment.

Troy is the kindest and sharpest superstar Manager who welcomed me, an out of towner( not a local and potential member) with class and enthusiasm; please note that I was a guest from NY visiting KC for the MNF game. Mac, Chandler and Brenna were just stellar with kindness. Loved the efficiency at the front desk and their smiles as they picked up towels in the cart from all over the gym. 2) Towel service( bath and workout sizes). 3) This gym is huge. The workout floor has all areas - free weights, cardio, abs, machines and the class room very well spaced. 4) The equipment is modern. 5) The locker room is immaculate. The supplies( soap, shampoo, shaving cream, lotion and paper towels( are well stocked. 6) 2 hours validated parking on the 4th floor in the adjacent garage with a 55 feet convenient walk to the gym entrance. 7) Open weekdays at 5 am. Perfect! 8) Beautiful, relaxed vibe in the health club with no wait or rushing for the machines or weights. I left each time with a bigger smile.

Some of these places host special events, like we saw big party for New Year's celebration. They also closed many of the roads for the crowd. It's also generally jam-packed at events, parking is silly, and security seems like an afterthought. Maybe I'm out of the demo, and that's fine. But P&L is a blast to be at for an event like watching a World Cup match or some Big 12 tourney basketball, but aside from that, it's shaky. After hours is wholly different story, and that's not so much an issue of P&L but more of a city thing. The bars & restaurants are a mix of local & national, and for my money, give me local every time. Like-sized cities (think Broadway in Nashville or downtown Indy) seem to have a better hold on people flow and entertainment ideas. It's not really family-oriented and maybe that's the old man in me, but I don't think I'm alone. Parking stinks, but if you're Uber-ing, then great. Other than that, you're walking. Pricing is fine and most of the restaurants and bars' service is what it is: spotty. That's more of a restaurant to restaurant thing than it is P&L, but just know that your choices are wild cards. To recap: It's fun. It gets packed. It can be a security disaster. It's here to stay.
