Last night we attended our first Kansas City Current match at CPKC Stadium…read more Having heard so many glowing reviews about the first stadium built specifically for a women's professional sports team, we were excited to experience both the venue and the atmosphere. Our first impression was the outstanding customer service. Whether it was the ticket takers, concession staff, or guest services team, everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The stadium itself was also immaculate. One of the best things about an 11,500-seat stadium is that there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The sightlines are excellent, and it's a quick walk to the concessions and restrooms from just about anywhere. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to install some of those Big Ass Fans beneath the roof overhang to help keep fans cooler on warm evenings. We were in Section 231, Row 18 on July 29. It was about 90 degrees with lower humidity and overcast skies. You could feel a nice breeze when walking through the concourse, but once we were back in our seats, the air felt warm and still. The new Morton Amphitheater uses these fans under its roof, and they make a noticeable difference. If CPKC Stadium is ever expanded, they would be a terrific addition. The match itself couldn't have been much better. The Current defeated Racing Louisville 5-1, and the first four goals were scored at our end of the field in the first half. We definitely picked the right side to sit on! Someone told us to stop by Guest Services for a complimentary First Match pin. Not only did we get the pin, but the two wonderful staff members also surprised us with a few extra pieces of Current swag, including a sticker and another pin. What a fantastic first experience. We can't wait to come back!

No matter where you sit in this stadium, you will have a good view. Even if you stand in the walking area, you will be able to see the action. Or you will catch the action on the many tvs located in the stadium. The Argyle suites are luxurious and provided a nice air conditioned area outside of the heat. They have a large fridge, many cabinets, multiple places to sit, and a little patio area with about 10-20 seats. They also serve food outside of the suites with a range of pizza, roasted vegetables, a variety of desserts, brauts, and coffee. A bar is also available. One downside is how expensive the food and merchandise is. I think the prices are crazy! Also the security wasn't super friendly when my bag was slightly over the size. Besides that, great experience!

The food is good- expensive- but normal for stadiums and ampitheaters. The crowd is always very supportive and the people both staff and spectators are kind and welcoming. I really love the fans- they are always on point! Its large enough to feel like you are in a massive stadium, but small enough where you can go and find anything very quickly. I attended their 2nd ever home game here this afternoon. The stadium is old and quaint, so don't expect a lot of modern amenities. The bleachers are covered so shade and rain protection are assured. Tickets are $10 card only and parking is free; and a small snack bar has basics. The stadium is surrounded by grass and trees, and provides great vantage points to witness professional baseball up close and personal. There was only about 50 people in attendance for this 2000 seat stadium, so I moved around a bit, but enjoyed sitting right under the press box behind home plate, so I could hear the radio broadcasters. The foul balls bouncing off the metal roof above us provided great sound effects and watching dug-out players retrieve foul balls from the first base side woods reminded me this ain't the big leagues. An afternoon of novelty, true sportsmanship, and visiting a piece of Kansas City history made for a memorable visit. I would love to go back.

There was so much to see and do throughout the festival. The variety of activities kept the energy high, and my favorite experience was definitely the Silent Disco--it was such a fun and unique addition that had everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. My only downside was the food. While there were plenty of options, I found it to be pretty expensive, and the quality didn't quite match the price. That was a bit disappointing, but it wasn't enough to take away from the overall experience. Between the entertainment, atmosphere, and easy transportation, the FIFA Fan Festival was well worth attending. I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend checking it out if you're in Kansas City for the event!

It's amazing to think the FIFA World Cup came to Kansas City in 2026…read more Tickets to the matches themselves were well beyond our budget, so we watched the games on TV. But we did want to experience the atmosphere, so we headed to the FIFA Fan Fest to celebrate with fans from around the world. We took the free shuttle from KCI, which dropped us off about three blocks from the entrance. Because I wasn't sure if the daily allotment of 25,000 free admissions would fill up, we purchased Premium Garden Passes to guarantee entry. After attending on the afternoon of July 9, I honestly wish we had just used the free admission. The Premium Garden included high-top bar seating under a canopy, a small collection of cushioned lawn chairs in the shade, and dedicated restrooms. Those perks were nice, but not enough to justify the price. And the space was packed. As others have mentioned, food and drink prices were steep. We ordered two gin and tonics that came to $36 (before tax and tip) and they were served in small plastic cups. What really got under my skin, though, was when I asked for a few cups of ice for water bottles we had brought with us. The hostess said she could only give me one cup of ice. It was a larger cup, but I couldn't help asking why they were rationing ice after I'd paid $55 for a Premium ticket. That said, the festival itself was laid out very well. There was plenty of room to move around, lots of food choices, and a fun, energetic atmosphere with fans representing countries from all over the world. Even the best bargain I found--a cold 12-ounce bottle of Coke from an ice bath--still cost $7. I suppose some of the pricing is to be expected at a FIFA event. Overall, I'm glad we went because it was a unique experience. But if I had it to do over again, I would skip the Premium Garden Passes and simply take advantage of the free admission.

Specifically..The Ted Lasso promo event. What a VERY dissapointing event!!…read moreWe arrived early to get the promo scarf but were told they were already out... there couldn't have been more than a few hundred people in the stadium when we got there. Later we saw 2 employees dragging a huge box of scarves into the guest services office. We went over to ask about them but was met with the door being shut in our face before we could politely ask about them. Later in the evening there was a woman with a bunch around her neck walking around asking trivia questions but she only allowed one of us to play the game ( there were two of us)... And yet we saw her putting scarves around three little children who weren't even capable of playing the game a few minutes later. Now for the worst part of the evening...Fans were not allowed to sit in the shaded area of the stands and were told that we had to sit in the lower seating area on the east side in the glaring sun if we wanted seats, and that they were "filming" and wanted to make sure that the lower area was filled first. Yet the lower area on the west/shaded side was only open to VIPs. ( this was a free event and there was no option for a VIP ticket. So we have no idea how those seats were distributed) They had huge fans set up but they weren't turned on. It was a heat index of 102°!! We were forced to stand in the common areas for shade for 1.5 hrs before they finally opened up the shaded upper area on the west side. We know of two people that were overcome by heat, one of them was a child. Now about the Ted Lasso part of the event...The fact that five members of the cast came out said "hi" and were on the screen less than a minute before showing a 1 min preview clip of the next season & then leaving was very dissapointing. we never saw them again. Later there seemed to be social media posts that showed more but that didnt actually happen was shocking. We really expected a little more from this promotion due to the hype and the Ted Lasso bus riding around Kansas City all day. Very poor planning, and a lot of disappointed fans leaving the stadium early. We rode back on the streetcar to a lot of people just complaining about how disappointed they were and how badly it was handled. One more item that was very disappointing was for a FIFA Semi final watch party event the speaker system in the stadium was not working well. Fans could not hear what was going on at all and a lot of people left to go other places to watch the game. So, hey #brittneymahomes...while you were enjoying yourself at Chiefs stadium, your business venture really bombed this event.

This is a nice little baseball field for a Division II school…read more The playing surface is natural grass with a dirt infield. The dimensions are symmetrical: 330 feet down the lines, 375 feet in the alleys and 400 feet to center field. The bullpens are in play. The venue seats around 500 people. There are some seat back bucket seats behind home plate while the rest is bleacher seating. There isn't a full time concession stand however when I visited a booster club was selling snacks, sodas and energy drinks at a table behind the stands. There are bathrooms on site, which is nice because the field is a little bit away from campus. The day I visited, nobody was charging or taking tickets however you might bring some cash with you just in case.

Before flying to Kansas City, I booked a tour of Arrowhead Stadium through Ticketmaster. I had a…read morelittle trouble with the booking process, though that was probably a combination of user error and poor website design. I checked in at the Pro Shop, where a kind employee let me know that the tour guide would collect my ticket and had not arrived yet. My guide was Blake, who seemed to have a long history with the team, possibly as a player, Red Coat, or longtime employee. He was fantastic: knowledgeable, happy to answer questions, and always willing to help take photos. The tour included the museum, locker room, press room, field, a suite, and the suite level. Afterward, we could shop in the team store and receive a 15% discount on everything except sunglasses. Overall, this was a great experience and easily one of the highlights of my limited time in Kansas City. I highly recommend it to any Chiefs or football fan visiting the area. Attending pre-season games is like a glimpse of regular season. We were gifted tickets in an…read moreamazing section/location. I took my daughter who is 9 and being down close was so fun for her. Plenty of yummy eats to try. We love BBQ so Chef J is always a stop for us at the stadium. Loaded tots are so delightful. We also grab a souvenir cup every time and I love the new plastic lids that keep spills and bugs from your drink. The drink holders in the seats in front are great! I love all the local to KC food options. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. I wish there were some hand sanitizers available too. We visited the hall of fame hallway and pro shop this in itself is a cool experience. There are plenty of photo op places near there including a giant Arrowhead. The Chiefs cheerleaders are so sweet but I wish there were more crowd interactions with them and KC Wolf . Games or chances to win merchandise etc like they do at the Royals.

Showing through October 5th 2025, but they do come back each year with a completely new performance. Comfy chairs allow you to lean back and take in the dome presentation, feeling immersed in sight and sounds. They do have a nearby concession stand if feeling peckish but it's not really the kind of shows I would want to eat through. It's also kept fairly dark so you can really take in the visuals happening on the domed ceiling. Not so dark that you can't see around you though. Getting up through performances is discouraged and once the doors have closed you can't get back in but could exit if needed.

For our 3pm show, the doors shut promptly around 3:03pm. With 12 Taylor Swift songs, the show lasted around 55 minutes and passed by super fast. The laser and smoke effects are cool, albeit repetitive at times and sometimes not much variation within one song. However, for the entry price it's worth it! The seats are pretty nice, although the angle is a tad bit uncomfortable for prolonged periods. We were running behind and worried about being denied entry, so we didn't get to understand the whole parking situation. Don't park in the lot, as only the rate of $15 is available for All Day Parking. If you're just seeing the show, you can get 2 hour parking for $6 in the parking garage. Definitely won't be making that mistake again :/ In summary, come early so you're not rushing to park and can pick your seats first :)
