They have a large fridge, many cabinets, multiple places to sit, and a little patio area with about 10-20 seats. They also serve food outside of the suites with a range of pizza, roasted vegetables, a variety of desserts, brauts, and coffee. A bar is also available. One downside is how expensive the food and merchandise is. I think the prices are crazy! Also the security wasn't super friendly when my bag was slightly over the size. Besides that, great experience!

It's an interactive museum where the young and mature can play and explore college basketball. The facility was clean and not crowded on a Friday (4th of July) afternoon. We did not pre-purchase tickets but had no issues at the door. They offer a senior and military discount, and the venue can be rented for events, birthday parties and there is a gift shop onsite.

In a midst of international attendees, it was interesting to just be there. KC did an awesome job of providing a free and *safe* area that was easy to get to and enjoy. I even watched some soccer on all of the huge TVs they had *everywhere*. The ConnectKC26 (bus) was so easy to navigate. I took the Region Direct bus to travel to the FIFA Fanfestival. I didn't have to drive within KC. I didn't have to park. For $5, all I had to do was ride. It was so nice (I'll do that again anytime). I wanted to experience the FIFA World Cup--because this is a once in a lifetime event. And I really wanted to attend Gabby Barrett's concert. She looked and sounded amazing. Because of the two games that went into overtime, her concert time was put off until much later in the day. But that just meant I stayed longer and got to experience more. Which was the only way I got lucky enough to score my own customized bracelet. I also got a bandana I used around my neck (with water) to help keep a little less hot--thanks Coca Cola. There were water stations in the 4 corners (the one by the entry was always no-waiting, hint hint) so bring your empty *plastic* bottle. Well done KC!!!

There was so much to see and do throughout the festival. The variety of activities kept the energy high, and my favorite experience was definitely the Silent Disco--it was such a fun and unique addition that had everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. My only downside was the food. While there were plenty of options, I found it to be pretty expensive, and the quality didn't quite match the price. That was a bit disappointing, but it wasn't enough to take away from the overall experience. Between the entertainment, atmosphere, and easy transportation, the FIFA Fan Festival was well worth attending. I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend checking it out if you're in Kansas City for the event!

Satchel Paige Stadium is the new home of The Kansas City / Iola Hormigas, the first minor league…read moreteam to call the missouri side of the metro home since the 1950's! I attended their 2nd ever home game here this afternoon. The stadium is old and quaint, so don't expect a lot of modern amenities. The bleachers are covered so shade and rain protection are assured. Tickets are $10 card only and parking is free; and a small snack bar has basics. The stadium is surrounded by grass and trees, and provides great vantage points to witness professional baseball up close and personal. There was only about 50 people in attendance for this 2000 seat stadium, so I moved around a bit, but enjoyed sitting right under the press box behind home plate, so I could hear the radio broadcasters. The foul balls bouncing off the metal roof above us provided great sound effects and watching dug-out players retrieve foul balls from the first base side woods reminded me this ain't the big leagues. An afternoon of novelty, true sportsmanship, and visiting a piece of Kansas City history made for a memorable visit. I would love to go back.

Four of the seven teams to win multiple MLS Cups were part of the original 10 teams to begin the league's inaugural season in 1996. Again, Sporting Kansas City is one of those teams. Back then, they were known as the Kansas City Wiz and shortly thereafter, Wizards. Since 1996, Kansas City has finished first in its conference seven times and won the US Open Cup four times. The US Open Cup, by the way, is officially known as the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Hunt is the late founder and former owner of Sporting Kansas City, among other teams. The 2000 season has been Kansas City's best to date. Not only did the then-Wizards beat the Chicago Fire, 1-0, to win the 2000 MLS Cup, they also won the Supporters' Shield that same season (best regular-season record). Despite another half-dozen first-place conference finishes, Kansas City hasn't won the Supporters' Shield in any other season. Kansas City and Real Salt Lake made the record books during the 2013 MLS Cup championship game. Kansas City and Salt Lake had a penalty shootout that lasted 10 rounds, the longest in MLS Cup history. To this day, Meola holds the MLS record for most shutouts in a single season with 16 in 2000. Twelve years later, another Kansas City goalie came close. Jimmy Nielsen had 15 shutouts in 2012. He's alone in second place.

There is sooooo much information to take in, I am glad they had a tour guide. Just the hallway walking in had some much history information that I was blown away. I didn't realize how many first in the air transportation industry is owed to TWA. I would definitely go back, I am sure I missed some stuff while I was there.

So neat! It was only $8 to enter. Your fee includes a personal tour with a volunteer. My guide was a retired TWA flight attendant and she had lots of stories to share and she even wrote a recent book about her experiences. I recommend visiting this museum if you are an aviation buff, pilot, history fan, etc etc. You'll love it.

I was subject to an airport-style screening when entering, but the staff were professional and fairly friendly. The museum included the extensive Harry S. Truman coin collection, which was a wall of coins from our country's founding to present, including gold and silver coins - nice! The exhibit area included bills from our country's founding to present, including large denominations and Confederate currency. It also included a gold bar lift challenge, a counterfeit currency exhibit, interactive exhibits for the kiddos and a wall of $100 bills totaling $40 million. It was also possible to see the operational currency processing area (no pictures allowed) where they don't print currency, but they do review it for counterfeit, worn, soiled or damaged bills and then distribute it to regional banks. The bad bills are shredded and available for free in small packages as you leave the tour. I also noticed a small theater with a Federal Reserve educational video playing on a loop. The museum is located very close to the National WWI Memorial, a scenic KC skyline viewpoint and Union Station. Overall, it was an excellent experience and a great way to see the history of US currency.

I chose the Money Museum because I have a fascination with Federal Banks, The Fed, and everything involving our Country's Robust Economy. We parked in the visitor spaces in the lot and trekked through the snow to the entrance. When you drive up to this place, there are barriers in the roadway for cars so that they breach the entrance; great security measure. There are Federal Police who ask for your State Issued ID and then you go through a metal detector. They are pretty kind about the process, and professional. When you get inside, it is AMAZING! The Presidential Coin Collection is FANTASTIC! They have interactive exhibits that teach you all about the economy, The Fed, the whole setup of our economic system, and it is very nice. I love how they tell you about how money bills are made, and also allow you to touch samples of A the fabric or end product. There are a lot of historical facts at this museum. There is a theatre exhibit where the 12min movie teaches you everything about The Federal Reserve and The Fed. It is phenomenal. On the way out, you can take a free sample of shredded defective money. They shred 40 million dollars a day at this location. Very very cool experience.
