Kansas City Chiefs. I would love to catch a game here but for now a self guided tour is what I had. Outside is massive, parking lot ample. Seating is plentiful. Next time I'm going in lol

Great place to see a game! It's LOUD and fun. Concessions aren't too bad. Parking is too expensive and it's slow in and out of the lot. The restrooms are small and dated. The biggest fan improvements could be made there. Staff here is wonderful!! They really are professional and caring. From security, to those working concessions and walking the aisles. Everyone is kind and helpful. The bathroom staff keep the small restrooms clean. We were in the lower bowl, under cover, which was not needed that day, but nice.

Went to my first game at Arrowhead last weekend and despite the loss to the Chargers, it was still a great experience! Getting into the stadium was a breeze. There were long lines but the staff moved people through quickly and were very friendly. We also kept seeing people walk by with chicken tenders that looked amazing so we ended up getting some ourselves. They were tender, hot, but very crunchy on the outside. Not your standard stadium tenders. Definitely recommend.

We did the 90-minute guided tour of Arrowhead Stadium (now GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium), which takes you through the Press Box, CommunityAmerica Club Level, Field, Hall of Honor, Locker Room, Press Conference Room, Broadcast Area, and Ford Founder's Club. Tickets are $70 for adults and $65 for children, which is on the steep side and made this one of our most expensive attractions on the trip--but I personally thought it was worth it. The tour is amazing for anyone who grew up watching the Chiefs or has a current interest in football. My 8-year-old was thrilled when football season rolled around and he saw a game on TV, pointing at the screen and shouting, "HEY, we went there!!" He was so excited. Honestly, I thought my husband would enjoy it the most, but I ended up loving it as well because of the connection to my childhood. Not only did we see a lot I also learned a lot about the history of the Chiefs. Our tour guide was fantastic (and happily entertained my Swifty questions), walking us through all the behind-the-scenes areas, pointing out the training center, the church, private suites, and even the owners' residence (Lamar Hunt). She talked openly about the players like they were her son's best friends. The highlight for me was definitely seeing the locker room. The tour involves a lot of walking, so it's not fully toddler-friendly (thank goodness my husband ran around with the little one), but it's engaging and fun for older kids and adults. Absolutely worth a visit if you're a Chiefs fan, grew up in a Chiefs family or just want a behind-the-scenes experience at one of the most iconic stadiums in the NFL.

Louuuuuuud! Billed as the loudest stadium in the NF I was lucky to drop in for a repeat of Superbowl 52. The Chiefs fans are nice and they are super supportive of their team. The Eagles fans were rowdy, and they seemed to enjoy putting on a repeat performance of the last match up between these two teams. It was cool that they have fireworks and a flyover included during the opening festivities. I was seated at the highest of the high seats, but I could see everything from there. The lines for concessions were flooded at half and between one to two minutes before the odd quarters, but they also had folks walking adult lemonades, beer, and water up the steps Parking is plenty, but if you are willing to hike it, there are third party options. The stadium itself has great amenities, decorations, and the Hall of Honor celebrating Chief excellence and their history with the AFL, and the eventual merger of leagues. Very nice stadium with a professional sporting event presentation.

If you enjoy football stadium tours, this is a great tour. I purchased my ticket online and even had trouble doing so I called the customer service number for the stadium and they gave me the Tours dept email address. I emailed them and very quickly, within an hour or less, had a reply from the Tours team, giving me instruction and offering assistance. I was able to make my purchase online and had the email confirmation available when I checked in for my tour. The lady who was checking people in at the Pro Shop was our tour guide, Kim. Kim is fabulous!! She has great energy and knowledge and has been with Kansas City Chiefs team for 20 years or more I believe she said. She showed us some great spots throughout the stadium and because they are preparing for the FIFA World Cup in a couple months we were able to go onto the field which is not common in a stadium tour and it was very exciting to be on the grass looking around at the stadium above and around. The locker room is phenomenal. Even if you're not a Kansas City Chiefs fan, being able to see Patrick Mahomes' and Travis Kelce's and juju Smith-Schuster's lockers was really cool. I highly recommend this tour. i'm not posting a lot of pictures because I don't wanna give away the magic!!

Terribly loud stadium. The fans are loud. I'm part of Bills mafia and during our game there last year a drunk Chiefs fan kept bothering me. Luckily the stadium has a number you can text if you are being bothered by someone one. Security absolutely responded and addressed the situation. My husband and I were in the guest VIP area but somehow there were still a ton a Chiefs fans there. It'd be nice if they would have left it for the visiting team fans.

Arrowhead Stadium is absolutely insane, and that's in a very good way. Arrowhead has to be one of the loudest stadiums in the league. The fans are also very friendly and enjoy interacting with opposing teams fans. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere and well worth the trip

The stadium tour was incredible. We had a really great tour guide. Super informative and we got to be in the locker room, the press room, and some of the tower stuff. It was really a cool tour, and I'd highly recommend it for anyone who is a Chief's fan.

I loved the Tailgate experience prior to entering the stadium. T-mobile had a Magenta experience area that provided free drinks for customers and charging stations. Comfy chairs and rooftop views of live music while you wait for it to be time to enter the stadium. Security to get in the stadium is long and tedious. You can bring in water which is nice. Our seats were in section 340 which had an amazing view of the game. The season ticket holders in this area were so sweet and kind. For a 3:25 game we were sitting in the sun. Hot for the first hours but then just right. We love the new recyclable cups you can choose to recycle or take home. They have lids! Love this! We ordered the chicken strips and curly fries dinner. You can choose as many dips as you would like with no extra charge. Love this! Pricey for what it is at $27.99 but it is large portion could be shared between kids. Smart water is huge but they take off the lid and I really wish they would let you keep it. Service is great but for a fast food setting and they are fundraising they ask you to tip. If you choose not to you have to choose "other". Arrowhead provides certificates for my first game and cute little headbands that say chiefs on them at Customer Relations. My daughter loved this cute touch! Parking is quite pricey and you will want to buy ahead to save $10 but $60 for parking seems too much for the average family to just park their car. If you are ADA you can catch a golf cart to and from your car. Otherwise prepare for a long walk from red parking. Gold parking is $150! Tailgating is epic but just to park seemed a lot! Chiefs cheerleaders do a nice half time show and navigate the tailgating experience prior to the game giving fans a chance to interact up close with them.

Arrowhead stadium is awesome. I took my sons on a tour the guide was really knowledgeable made over two hours go by fast. Recently went to the Chiefs vs Raiders game parking was a breeze I think it was because we showed up 10 mins before game time and parked in open spot where I think some was tailgating. Plenty of places to get food inside if it's cold outside. Went to a suite as well they are Nice! Overall great time.

Stadium Tour Review! The tour of GEHA Field at Arrowhead was amazing...and yes there may be some extra magic to it being a Kansas City Chiefs fan. However, I don't believe that is a requirement to enjoy the tour. You get to see SO MUCH of the stadium that you'd never see without the tour. The best parts are the Chiefs locker room and the chance to walk out onto the field! You can see more of our experience on our YouTube travel channel: https://youtu.be/YwqhfKuCtjI

Ask the Community - Arrowhead Stadium

If the game starts at noon, when is the best time to get there in order to have time to park and tailgate?

Ideally you need to be at the gates no later than 9:30 or you'll miss out on tailgating due to the time it takes to get parked and set up. If you have a large group and/or need to drop a tent or set up complex food/tailgating items, I'd say no later… Read more

Any advice in getting a ticket the day of the game. Can you just go to the ticket window to get a ticket the day of the game?

First, we had to drive in circles trying to get to the road for the parking garage bc most of the roads near the TMC were closed off by KCPD. Then, when we DID finally get onto the correct street, we sat idling in line on the street waiting to get to the parking garage for OVER an hour. All of this, only to find when we made it there (2 blocks away) that it was full. Yes, it took over an hour to move 2 blocks. And they want to add to the chaos by building a STADIUM down here? I don't think so. I will never go downtown for anything ever again if they do. Anyway, we got lucky after going around the corner (and almost hitting a guy who literally ran out in front of us with a cop watching) and found a lot directly across the street that had just 2 spots left so we actually ended up with better parking than we would have gotten in the garage, but my sister was still royally pissed off about the chaotic traffic. I will acknowledge that they apparently do have handicapped parking somewhere at the TMC, but only about 15ish spots that are first-come first-served and "have been filled for hours" according to the worker we were able to flag down and ask. Mind you, this was after sitting in line on the road for over an hour after driving in circles for another 20 minutes before that. Once we got parked (thank you to the nice men running the lot), we were getting ready to cross the street to the TMC and my sister realized she left her phone in the car, so she had to go back and get it bc, you, digital tickets now. I waited at the corner for her. We crossed the street and arrived at the doors of the TMC and were pleased that we seemed to have missed the giant que to get in bc of the parking fiasco, so that was good. We scanned in and went through security, and of course my sister was stopped by a very rude/nasty lady with an attitude who told her she couldn't take her keychain in "bc it could be used as a weapon." The offending keychain was a safety device you hold in your hand like you would your keys in case you need to defend yourself. They told her she could go put it back in her car, but needed to talk to "someone in a pink shirt so they know to let you back in." She couldn't find them (bc they were all wearing black coats over their pink shirts lol) so she asked a police officer that was working the venue. He asked her what it was; she showed him and he rolled his eyes. The purse checker lady with a power trip ran over and yelled at my sister and the officer, saying "she's already been told what to do," and I guess the officer basically told her to go away bc "I'm having a conversation with her, not you." lol and kudos to KCPD. The officer offered to give her his number and hold onto that part of the keychain for her and meet us after the show to give it back and the lady flipped out again. My sister ended up telling the officer thank you and just taking it back to the car so he helped her talk to someone to ensure she could get back in. Once inside we went to the bathroom (which had a very long line but moved quickly). My stall door wouldn't lock, and my sister said there was poop on the walls of her stall. Gross. Once at our seats things got better. We were crammed in like sardines, but our neighbors were friendly. The show itself was great, but that is not any reflection on the TMC. After this experience, we both said we will not go back to TMC, or any event downtown that isn't at the music hall (they valet) ever again.

Situated north of downtown, right on the Mighty Mo (the river, not the battleship!), the views here are absolutely stunning! Especially from a little higher in the stands on the northeast side, you get an incredible view of the KC downtown skyline, as well as the sun setting and reflecting on the river! WOWWW!!!! I love the size of the stadium - large enough to feel "professional", yet cozy enough to really enjoy the on-field action, and easy to move around and through! The seats are colored TEAL, the lights (can be) colored TEAL, and the swag is definitely colored TEAL!!! This stadium REALLY shines at night, under the lights, when the teal seats light up like a gorgeous blue aquarium! There are concessions galore, an AWESOME team store to update your swag, and even ice cream from one of my absolute favorite KC vendors available: High Hopes (check out that review - INCREDIBLE flavors!)!! Even getting through security and ticketing was far better than your average stadium experience - quick, efficient, and technology-driven! If I'm being super critical, my only knock on the whole place is the (lack of) ease of entry/exit into the complex. Obviously, this is inherent to such a prime, metropolitan location - a tight squeeze into the midtown area was always going to make it difficult to access, especially for weekday gametimes that come up against rush-hour traffic in and out of the downtown area. Unfortunately, on our visit, there was also major construction going on right across the street from the stadium. Bottom line: STUNNING place to view a great game of football (yup, I went there!) in KC!!

The Chief fans have always been enthusiastic and yes they expect to win every game - well today the game has evolved and although it still exciting it's not the football I witnessed first hand in those days. Marty Schottenheimer lead the team then and with players like defensive end Neil Smith and linebacker Derrick Thomas, it's no surprise that Arrowhead Stadium would become one of the loudest stadiums in the game. I was very fortunate to have witnessed some of the greatest players in game playing under Schottenheimer's ten-season tenure as head coach. With names like Christian Okoye, Stephone Paige, Barry Word, Albert Lewis, Deron Cherry, and on special teams, Nick Lowery, who was then the most accurate kicker in NFL History. The unbelievable acquisition of quarterback Joe Montana and running back Marcus Allen validates for me I witnessed some of the best football ever. Since those days I've lived in a few big market cities and my loyalty has somewhat faded for the Kansas City Chiefs although I still love to watch them play, it's definitely one of the best NFL products still today and very entertaining although my interest has decreased somewhat being today the game is more about the brand than the game in my opinion unfortunately and I doubt that at todays prices I would be able to attend the number of games I did back then...

Dear Kansas City Chiefs Fan Experience Team,…read more I am writing to formally express my disappointment and frustration regarding how my wife and I were treated during the Chiefs vs. Lions Sunday Night Football game. What was meant to be a special birthday celebration for my wife turned into an upsetting and humiliating experience that left us feeling singled out, disrespected, and criminalized. We have proudly been season ticket holders for three years, seated in Section 337, Row 16, Seats 16 and 17. During the game, I was approached by a yellow-shirt staff member named Kay and a blue-uniformed security guard identified only by badge number 0001, who refused to provide her name despite multiple polite requests. They instructed me to stop standing against the wall behind my seat, citing a "fire hazard" and a risk of falling -- though the wall reaches up to my neck and presents no such danger. I immediately complied, but I passionately and respectfully asked why I was being told to move while others nearby were doing the exact same thing without any warning. Rather than provide a direct answer or enforce the rule consistently, Kay returned later and accused me of "mocking" her -- which was untrue and deeply insulting. I was passionate, respectful, and simply wanted a fair explanation. After the situation seemed to settle, I went down to use the restroom and was on my way to get a drink when I noticed several members of the security team huddled together. I approached guard 0001 again to ask why no one else was being held to the same standard. Without warning or justification, and claiming that I stood against the wall a third time (which is false), she decided to eject both my wife and me from the stadium As my wife gathered her belongings, security guard David informed her she needed to meet me downstairs because we were being removed. At that point, several surrounding fans spoke up in our defense, expressing their agreement that we had been treated unfairly and that the situation was mishandled. What made this incident even more distressing was the way it escalated -- we were surrounded and escorted out by multiple officers as if we posed a threat. I am a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and live with PTSD, and the way this situation was handled caused significant emotional distress. I was not confrontational, disrespectful, or intoxicated -- I simply wanted to understand why I was being treated differently from others in the same section. Adding to the confusion and frustration, I have attached photos taken from my seat showing multiple other fans standing along the wall -- and even Kay herself standing in the same location she claimed was a "safety and fire hazard." This further reinforces the inconsistency and unfairness of how this situation was handled. This experience has left a lasting negative impression on what should have been a positive night of celebration. I take great pride in supporting the Chiefs organization and investing in season tickets year after year, but this incident does not reflect the values of fairness, respect, and integrity that the organization stands for. I am requesting a formal review of this incident and a written response regarding how this situation will be addressed. I would appreciate acknowledgment of how unfairly this was handled and assurance that steps will be taken to prevent other loyal fans from being treated in this manner in the future. Thank you for your time and understanding. I look forward to your response. Respectfully, Paul Panos Season Ticket Holder - Section 337, Row 16, Seats 16 & 17

While you can rent a cushioned seat, you end up standing most of the game anyway, so really not worth the additional cost. There really aren't obstructed views here from any seat-unless a tall person has a seat in front of you. There are very limited hand rails to use in the Fieldhouse to help accommodate these views. The Fieldhouse has a museum as well which commemorates the Jayhawk greats in all realms of sports. This is a great way to spend some time before the game starts. Doors usually open an hour before the game. It's a really fun and energetic place to experience. Definitely get a ticket (if you can) to a game. Take heed and beware the Phog!

It took over two decades, and my brother and I came out to finalize this quest. The ballpark is in the middle of nowhere and is next door to the Chiefs football stadium. Although the park is very old, it was clean and appeared modern. They kept everything in good shape. Signage was good, the concourses were open, and seeing the fountains and waterfalls in the outfield was very pleasant. As you walk around the ballpark, there's a lot for families to do with their kids behind the outfield. Concessions for the most part were like any other ballpark fare. Prices were high, too. However, there were multiple free COLD water stations available. You can also bring your own food in and water (up to one liter) in a clear bag. I did buy a milkshake. The staffer did not know what a black and white was! If you don't know either, it's chocolate and vanilla together to make the shake. Very tasty. We liked the place and since the Phillies lost on Friday, we decided to come Saturday where they beat the bejeezus out of the Royals. One of JT Realmuto's home runs landed in the water in front of our section. Couldn't reach the ball, and if we tried to go in, then it's off to jail we go. We had to deal with some friendly ribbing, but not like in Philadelphia for other fans. When we purchased our tickets for Saturday, one of the volunteers overheard us talking about where to stand, and he was nice enough to check and said once the game started we could sit in a section where there were a lot of empty seats and pointed out specifically where to go. We got a row all to ourselves and we're able to give ourselves some room. The seats are not really meant for big guys. The largest video screen in baseball is set vertically with Roman column lighting behind. Didn't like it. Also did not care for having a large putting green in front of the video board. Visually unappealing especially with the beautiful water fountains and falls off each side. Overall, we had a great time at Kauffman Park and happy we went to the second game because we pulled off a win.

Sure, the team has had its ups and downs over the years, but win or lose, we always have a blast. The stadium is clean, easy to navigate, and packed with food and drink options that could distract even the most die-hard fan. If you're lucky enough to land in the Diamond Club, enjoy living like royalty--seriously, the waitstaff treats you like you're about to throw the first pitch. And if things take a turn and you end up at the first aid station, rest assured--you're in very good hands. The medical staff is amazing, professional, and so calm they can probably perform surgery during the seventh-inning stretch. Oh, and the Friday night fireworks? Unbelievable. Unparalleled. Worth the price of admission all on their own. Bottom line: good vibes, great team, and a stadium experience that hits it out of the park. Nice work, Royals.
