The other field is a larger woodland area with a few makeshift structures meant to focus the game into certain areas. They are on the field to play however so if you have the experience to help foster a positive environment and help them out i know they appreciate it! Basically, show up, be a good noodle, have fun.

My problem was I never got a call or voicemail. When I I call and it was ready I went right down. I did not get the man's name but was abrasive and said they tried to call back in March. I simply asks if they were any discounts. Which the man began deep belly and said for what. I asked for a military and was laughed at and told no. All an ever wanted was a call or a voice mail. But the worker laughed at and mocked, when I was nicewas really mean. What is so funny about military discount.

Then the woman who was helping us happily showed us a lot more rings based on everything I liked and disliked about each one. She was super helpful! After some time, I knew that first ring was the one but I wanted it in gold so my husband worked with them and was able to see what it would look like and order it. I looked at other places to really know what I wanted, but G Thomas had the best selections and prices. After the wedding, I was able to stop in and get my rings soldered together. I dropped them off before going to brunch and then got a call that they were ready before brunch was over! The staff was so great through the whole process

The process was swift and when…read moreasked if we shot skeet before we told them yes as we've grown up shooting our whole life in our back yard. We told them we hadn't shot there before and they acknowledged and gave us a quick rundown of the range. We soon got on the range and then my brother and I were yelled at for a few small misunderstandings. My brothers weapon was obviously clear and on safe and he was pointing it straight up towards the sky. The manger or owner I presume stepped out of the building and screamed at him to stop pointing his gun at him... I was watching and the gun was clearly pointing in a safe direction. There was also a staff member with us the entire time. Then another staff member who I guess was in a higher position came out and and yelled at us saying we were being unsafe and not shooting correctly. Ultimately, they treated us like we were kids being unsafe when we've grown up shooting. Bottom line is, there staff isn't trained. Apparently it's not standard skeet shooting but "trapp shooting" to which we weren't aware and they never told us how it's ran. The kid never corrected us in the proper shooting sequence and just let us keep going; even after I asked questions and was told we were fine. Management got involved and made us feel like kids which was comical as everyone around us was far more unsafe. There were group of older gentlemen who were on a lane that were flagging everyone with their weapons, pointing them upwards as well, and walking all around the lanes. General impression was that this place was a "good ol boy" establishment and we didn't fit in based on apparel. Ultimately dissatisfied and definitely will not return. The best part was that an older gentlemen I guess that was apart of the staff was pouring alcohol into two tumblers behind the counter.

This is THE place to try axe throwing…read more We stopped here on a whim with our kiddo after touring K-State. To be honest, I wasn't super excited at first. We've been to maybe six different axe throwing places, and it can be a struggle. The axe too often pings off the board, and the game moves too slowly or gets repetitive. That was not the case at Manhatchet. The owner, James, takes a few minutes with each group to help fine-tune your throwing technique. We all hit a bull's-eye within our first few practice throws and were ready to go. Each lane has a soft wood backboard, so the axe usually sticks. There are at least a dozen different games that pair with an iPad for each group. We really liked Bowling and Battleship. We highly recommend this place! All other axe throwing shops should take notes.

I told them I just wanted to browse a bit. They kept pushing, so I told them I was interested in black flats. Then they just plied me with shoes and never stopped talking..."Do you want these neon orange Tom's?", "They are too small? Why don't I keep bringing you a half size too small". When I did make a selection, the guy tried to sell me socks and then he demonstrated how fabulous the waterproofing solution was. He tried to keep going, but I told him that I just wanted the shoes. Got home, tried on the shoes that were uncomfortable and too small for my feet. All this could be avoided if I had just a minute of quiet time in the store to try on the shoes properly. I returned them and they tried to upsell me again. Please note Tradehome...upselling is a technique that works if you have needs of the customer in mind. Prattling on for the sake of increasing your sales commission is obvious and tacky. If you want to walk that risky upsell line, shut up and listen to your customers needs.
