I cannot praise Kano enough! We had a few different groomers in the last 4 years but didn't really feel great about any of them. None of them were terrible..but not great either. Then the lockdown happened and we didn't know who to help us with our baby's nails. We have a 160lb bear-dog (German Shepherd/Malamute/Tibetan Mastiff) who is a huge big baby and gets scared easily, especially having to go into those doggie salons and likely feels extra stressed there. Kano changed that for us! One of the neighbors recommended her and we contacted her. She got us in way quicker than I expected and was so sweet as well! She whipped through our dogs' nails, trim, and de-shedding like it was nothing (in a good way!)! lol Our Grizzly bear usually pulls and hides from everyone but he just let her do her thing. She also gave him treats as she went along and man...was he into her lol! I am SOOO happy to say we finally found someone we are going to stick with indefinitely! Don't hesitate..give her a call she definitely is awesome and clearly knows what she is doing! Thanks again Kano!!! Grizzly is happy, and so are we! read more

Kano's Grooming is awesome! First time customer, and definitely found my regular groomer. My Persians coat was in very poor condition, and she did great giving her a fresh start. My cat, Miley acted perfectly happy and unfazed after her appointment. She was very good at answering any questions I had and was overall an awesome experience start to finish. Would highly recommend. read more

They did a FABULOUS job with our elderly labradoodle. She hates car rides and gets very anxious going places, so this was a great solution. She loves her summer cut and can't wait for Kano to come again! read more

Just moved to town, and was in need of a groomer for my kitties. After doing a search to see what was available, I decided on Kano's. I prefer a mobile groomer, as it's less stressful for my critters, not to mention the convenience. What a find! Not only does she do a fantastic job, she is an absolute professional, listens well to what you are wanting, and a very sweet person. I felt comfortable immediately leaving my pets in her care. Appointments are easy to book online, and she is very quick to respond. I have found my permanent groomer! Thank you Kano! My boys look wonderful! *****'s read more

Bjorn is a a Shitzu/Bichon teddy bear. He loves Getting pampered and even more at Kano's mobile grooming. Everything was so easy. She comes right to your front door with her Van. Bjorn enjoyed his pamper time and he looked even more adorable after! I will definitely be booking consistently. Thank you so much for loving my dog and for all of your advice ! read more

Kano's Pet Grooming is excellent! I scheduled with her online and she confirmed right away (so easy compared to other groomers I've tried to contact or go with who don't respond or confirm). Most groomers also don't deal with cats but she was able to do a bath and trim for my super grouchy 10 year old cat. Kano was right on time and had a wonderful and positive spirit! I was really worried my cat wouldn't take well to it because she's super grouchy, but she took to her so easily. My cat who usually doesn't appear happy about anything seems so much better (and she looks great)! Thanks Kano! read more

Kano did an incredible job with my 2 chihuahuas. I've been very nervous to have them groomed because I've had bad experiences with other groomers either doing a bad job or actually hurting my dogs since they are a bit skittish. When she was done they looked cuter than ever and were calm and happy! Her Sprinter van is setup in a very professional way and her personality is so calming. We will definitely have Kano continue grooming our sweet babies from here on out! read more

Highly recommend. She did a wonderful job grooming our cat and she was on time, great communication and great service.

Kano was amazing! Very good at communication compared to other mobile groomers out there. Was very hard to find someone I can trust my dog with. My dog is a little nervous and skiddish around new people and Kano did very good with her and still groomed my dog. She was patient with her and she came out looking like a new dog. Thank you! I will be continuing to use her again. read more

Kano is THE best dog handler groomer you will find. Our guy is so fussy with people often snapping and growling but with her? He just melts in her arms. He comes out so clean and fresh every time. Kano has been caring for our little guy for over 8 years we have followed her around to various places and now that she's mobile and has her own business it's even more convenient! Highly recommended! read more

I had an extremely bad experience with another groomer who actually shaved my dog without permission. Most groomers will say they have experience with double coated breeds (when sometimes they have no clue), but with Kano it is actually true. She knows exactly how to groom my gigantic 140 lb. double coated pup, and he is beyond gorgeous. He loved her the minute she stepped out, and I knew he would be in good hands. She took the time to make sure his undercoat was properly brushed out, and trimmed him to perfection. His coat looks amazing and her grooming skills of my double coated breed far exceeded my expectations. read more

Kano responds quickly and unlike most other mobile groomers, she does cats! I have a long haired cat that needed a wash and trim/shave due to matts. Kano gave me a heads up on her arrival time, arrived on time, was friendly and asked a bunch of questions to make sure we were both on the same page about what should or shouldn't be cut, etc. I fully expected her to call me after 15mins and say my cat is too difficult, but 1.5hrs later, both had survived and in seemingly good spirit! My cat won't admit it, but she is much happier! I will definitely be calling Kano again! Worth every penny. read more

Kano is very sweet and accommodating. Other mobile groomers I have used charge for a bath along with nail trimming. I was so excited when I was referred to Kano because she offers a refresh service for more than half the price of a full bath. This really helps with my budget especially now. My cat usually hides after getting her nails trimmed but ever since Kano has been cutting her nails, she pops out of her carrier like nothing happened. Thank you for being so sweet with all the animals :) read more

I just used Kanos pet grooming service for my Ragdoll cat yesterday! Kano was even a few minutes early for the appointment which was great because she parked right in front of my house and I was able to get kitty out quickly. The whole experience was much more relaxing than driving to the groomer! Her bath and cut took about an hour - maybe a few minutes over and she looks SO clean, free of mats and with the cutest lion cut ever ! Make, boots and tail! Thank you Kano!! read more

Kano did an absolutely wonderful job with our long-haired Siberian cat. For years our cat was indoors, but now that we've moved to a home, she likes to escape to the backyard and roll around in the dirt, causing mats that she won't let me comb out. Kano not only removed the mats but kept her amazing coat without shaving her bald, unlike most groomers. You can tell the care she takes and she left us with a couple of goodies after the session including a sample of the product she used to help our cat's dermatitis. She's absolutely amazing. I highly recommend her services. read more

Kano's Pet Grooming is amazing! I got behind on grooming my long haired cat, Dylan. His hair on the abdomen easily mats and it became beyond anything I could handle. I was worried I would have to take him to the vet to get the mats removed. I read reviews on Kanos Pet Grooming and decided to give it a try particular since Kano comes to your house. Far less stress for Dylan. The results were amazing. Kano was able to shave Dylan's abdomen, trim his hair and brush out lots of hair! Dylan looks great and seems happier. I highly recommend Kano to all cat owners. I should have started working with her years ago! And Dylan still likes me! read more

My pup is not very bath-friendly and so I always need to use a groomer for his baths. It also helps to have help with his nails, gland expression etc. I was looking for a mobile pet grooming option in San Diego (where we joined my husband who was quarantined here for weeks, yay, the family is together!), Kano's was the second highly rated on yelp. I trust my fellow yelpers very much. I called the first one listed but they weren't taking any new clients because they are trying to get caught up with hundreds of cancelled appointments etc. So, next down the list I went and called Kano's. So glad I did. Thank you, my fellow yelpers. Kano was professional in how she handled the call. Making an appointment is easy. She sends text confirmations. She was running late and let us know on time. Not that we were going anywhere ha ha. She respected distancing requirements and insists of us respecting them too. She wore a mask, gave me advance instructions to wear a mask, switched out our collar for her grooming leash (gave me a chance to wash our collar as well). She has a lovely, clean, well-maintained van for grooming. Took pictures, shared them as well. She takes her time and does not rush. You can make payments by cash, credit card, or check. She didn't suggest venmo; that surprised me but it is okay. My dog came out all relaxed and happy and now I want to go to a spa! read more

Today was our first experience having Kano groom our three French bulldogs and let's just say.. AMAZING! She arrived in a timely manner and groomed our babies with tons of love. Normally our male frenchie is a loud barking ball of anxiety but surprisingly he was so calm and relaxed! You can definitely tell she treats your pets like royalty. I will definitely continue to use her services and if you are looking for a good quality mobile groomer, I HIGHLY recommend Kano's Pet Grooming. We could not be happier! read more

My dog, Lola, has been turned away from other groomers in the past because she is terrible whenever someone tries to trim her nails. I was hopeful when I read the other reviews here and decided to give it a try. I was so incredibly impressed with the patience and care that went into trimming Lola's nails! At one point she was even sitting nicely while they were being trimmed. It was like magic. Thank you again! read more

Kano is now my go-to groomer for our 15 year-old cat, Bella. Like in some of the other reviews, I've used other mobile groomers in the past that were just "eh." Then, when COIVD hit, Bella had to go too long without a cut and was getting miserable with the summer heat. Kano was able to get us in very quickly (and even rescheduled on short notice when someone in my household was not feeling well!) and was very easy to communicate with. She did a great lion cut on Bella in a short amount of time. Very reasonably priced and a pleasure to do business with! read more

Kano did a great job with my dog. She came to the house to give my dog a summer cut. It turned out great! Kano came to the door in a mask and adhered to safety precautions that she had for her business to keep her and me safe during COVID. I really appreciate mobile dog grooming especially to keep my dog taken care of during the pandemic. A great option! Thanks! read more

This was our first experience with Kano's Pet Grooming and I am so happy she was referred to us. Great communication, friendly and super quick and efficient. I didn't want to deal with hauling our two cats (especially during these COVID times) to a groomer and so pleased to have the ability to have a mobile groomer that grooms cats come to our home. Rates are very competitive. Our vets wanted $22 just to trim their nails. We did the 3 services package for $35 and we chose a nail trim, sanitary cut and a quick de-shedder session. The cats are so much happier not having to go for a ride in the car! Thank you Kano's Pet Grooming! read more

Search no further for the best groomer! Not only is it convenient for us since Kano brings her services via mobile, but she also handles our dog with extra TLC! Kano just treated our elderly golden to a "bath and tidy," and the experience was everything we had hoped and more. She was very kind and gentle with her, helping her into and out of the van and tub.
