Unfortunately when i went, I was informed that they have not had Stillwells for over a year. They have instead a mass produced variety. Still, not a problem as I suddenly found many other candies and sweets that I can remember from my youth or from my grandmother passing onto me. Glad to know that it is also just a 5 minute drive from my place - I will certainly be back.

He gave me a beautiful Halloween loot bag. The store is packed with every type of candy you can thick of. You name it he has it. Along with the candy he had a nice selection of ice cream bites but did not try it. We took a nice selection of mixed candy home and when we ate them they were super fresh. They have something that other chains don't, which is brand recognition: an adorable swirly head mascot, collectible spoons, a real loyalty program (you can register card online, get free gifts on your birthday, a discount after roughly every 50$ spent) etc . They even have your favorite froyo flavored lip balm, how cool is that! It's a bright, cheerful atmosphere with extremely helpful and friendly staff. They are extremely kid friendly, they even have a little room for you to book birthday parties in. Right as you walk in, you notice little taste tester cups for you to sample the flavors - everything is delicious, so it's a hard choice. Lots of toppings, an assortment of candy and fruits although probably more candy to fresh fruits ratio. Many different syrups like chocolate, caramel, strawberry, honey. This is s tourist kind of place in old Saint-Lambert. Could be a great stop if you are visiting, but not if you are a local, as they are cheaper places around.
