Staff are super friendly and welcoming. Room is fully padded with tons of trampolines, ladders, ropes to swing on and balance bars. They also offer programs/camps. Great place to bring your kid if they love jumping around with other kids, sans the rough play. Parking out front. Not bus accessible. I wish there were more locations city wide.

Our family loves Starr Gymnastics - a fabulous indoor recreation spot. This is a great local business, with multiple locations in the Capital City. We have found the industrial park location to be an efficient and well run operation. Their staff are very good, and offer great client service. The staff seem to be genuinely excited about their work and fully engaged with the kids. Both of our boys, as well as our Fancy Nancy daughter have thoroughly enjoyed weekend morning gymnastics instructional programs. They loved their instructors! The instructors present well organized programs, with a strong physical education curriculum. They have all of the gymnastic apparatus' you would expect and the equipment is safe and recent. The staff do a great job of integrating exercise and learning in a fun environment. The facility is very clean and the attitude of the staff reflect professionalism. They are a great option for snow & PD days, as they offer drop-in playtimes. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Starr Gymnastics. But it does not give a refund or issue a credit, not even make any effort to provide a makeup lesson. It just shows how they NOT care about their clients. Poor parents when you do not have a choice!

The kindergym gymnastics program is designed for ages 6 months to 5 years and introduces balance, flexibility, and strength through movement and exploration on various gymnastics equipment and circuits. I brought my children to Xtreme Trampoline Park on March 20 for the advertised under-12 "Junior…read moreGlow" session (7PM-9PM), expecting a safe and age-appropriate environment. That expectation was not met. There were a significant number of visibly older teenagers in the facility that were playing very rough and clearly did not belong in that age group. This session is advertised as under 12 both online and was verbally confirmed to me at the time of payment. During the session, my children came to me visibly upset after overhearing two older boys talking about "killing all the kids" so they wouldn't have to share the basketball court. Regardless of intent, this is extremely serious language in a space full of young children. I reported it immediately. While one staff member responded appropriately, the on duty manager's handling of the situation was dismissive. I was told nothing could be done because the individuals denied it, even though I personally observed them leave the basketball court (directly in front of the check in desk) and move toward the locker area while I was reporting the incident, likely because they realized we had identified them. If nothing else, they should have been asked to leave and come back at the later age appropriate glo session (between 9PM-11PM). I followed up by email because I felt it was important that the general manager/owner were aware of the handling of the situation. While the response acknowledged the situation, it did not take accountability, did not accurately reflect how it was handled in person, and did not include the manager's name. It was simply signed "Sincerely, Xtreme Trampoline Park," which was unacceptable given the seriousness of the incident. This was not a safe or properly controlled under-12 environment, and policies were clearly not being enforced. Based on this experience, I have serious concerns about how a more critical safety issue or real life threat would be handled. This was our first time there. We will not be returning. For parents expecting a properly supervised and safe environment for children, I would recommend considering Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park instead.

It's a nice open gym concept that costs $10 + tax for a single drop-in session, but there are other options to pay $90 for 10 classes and $50 for 5 classes. The staff is always friendly and the space is inviting. Baby songs are played on the sound system during the one hour Baby Jammers session (ex. Baby Shark, etc.). I would have given the studio 5 stars for this program if there was an instructor encouraging the little ones to try simple new exercises or dances to songs. I haven't tried the studio's other programs, but they have yoga, kick-boxing, dance and other programs for adults and kids.
