The recepitonist didn't identify herself as Kingsway Medical Clinic on the phone. The receptinist remanind silent on the phone until the patient asked whether she has reached the right number. This was not acceptable. How could the receptionist ask the patient to call half an hour later because she was busy? If the patient had some issues to check with the doctor and the call was delayed, was the receptionist take the responsibility? Dr. Jackson Chu was marvellous. Other than his professionalism, rest of the clinic was running like a business. Some doctor even referred patients to get prescriptions from the drug store next door. Actualy, both the medical clnic and the drug store were connected via a short hallway though with different main doors. No wonder many good doctors working in this cilinic left.

She left the room as I was talking. Dr. Eddie Wong is a different story. He treats the clinic like an assembly line and is not understanding of patients. + close to Metrotown and all it's pharmacies. + young doctor's leave's this place with room to grow. + kind receptionists + state of the art software. No more paper. - Dr. Wong detracts from the place. - place looks a little run down. - they generally have a time limit on each patient. It can get rushed where the doctor's will shoo you out the door in the middle of talking.

I feel very well looked after and the front desk attendance especially Mindy is always very friendly and service oriented. Dr Eichhorst looked after me during my colon cancer ordeal, chemotherapy and while getting an ilistomy bag for a year. I also got wonderful mental support and I will be greatfull for the rest of my life for all his work. Meanwhile I definitely consider Dr Eichhorst a friend who has come to Saint Paul's hospital and also my house many times just to see me and give me moral support. To me Dr Eichhorst is definitely not one of many doctors but the only one to me who really cares and to make it very clear: I believe, that he as well as Dr Carl Brown from the colorectoral department at saint St. Paul's hospital saved my life a few times. My cancer has disappeared and I can live my life to the fullest now.

Dr Frame is lovely and used to be my family doctor but I moved overseas for 6 years and don't really see him anymore. It is way easier now to book a phone appointment online. Plus no more waiting rooms! She's available in the office sometimes too if you need to see her in person. Dr. Dong ( An Asian man probably in his early 60's ) comes in about 20 minutes late and calls me into a small back room with a desk for him and a chair for me. my first impression is Dong is very robot-like in his nature showing no emotion or personality what so ever. his list of questions was read off like I was being interviewed by a computerized program, but whatever I'm here to successfully conclude an endeavour regardless of the Doc.'s demeanour. from here we went into the bigger procedure room, where I was met with a lady at a computerized terminal. and my seat beside her. The lady was quite nice and did exhibit a rather pleasant and caring personality as well as being very competent in doing her part in the procedure. Dr. Dong continued to be emotionless and not saying anything but commands which was a bit weird but staying focused... The whole procedure went off without a hitch... It felt uncomfortable at times but painless so easily tolerable. My leaving impression was if I rate this on quality of professionalism and competency I guess it was first class. Bottom line; They got this done quick, efficient ...and painless now it is the following day and I go back in 3 hours to get the ''24-hour monitor'' taken out ... and get back on the Dexilant
