Any concern I had read about to ask they already had covered- flashing, sealing joints, replacing wood. Everyone who has seen our new deck comments how beautiful it is! We've even kept the sign up so others driving by know who to call for their next deck job. Highly recommend Decked Out Builders!

This company refused to complete our three 3d renderings because we were so disappointed, shocked,…read moreand had safety concerns about the first rendering. Kristen, the wife of the owner, became belligerent, threatening us with a lawsuit if we reviewed them. They have only done one rendering, refusing to comply with a signed contract to complete the next two that are in the contract. They also refuse to reimburse any of the $699 we paid, even though they refuse to complete what was agreed upon in the signed contract. The BBB took this complaint, but as this company has done with the other complaints, they refuse to respond. I would stay clear of this company. The first rendering did not have proper posts that would even support the deck we wanted built. It looked like a kid did the rendering and they said it was because it was the first one. Well, I expected the first one to knock us off our feet since it was $699 and that it would only need a few tweaks. Instead it raised red flags. They should have been embarrassed to send it to us. Also, need to mention that Kristen inflates the price unjustifiably. Also wanted to note that it is not illegal to write a review of a company.

For the exterior issue, we had quite a few quotes from other places that were astronomical and required a lot of work to accomplish. Sinat was able to find a different approach that saved us time and money. We definitely recommend Sinat for any house related issues and trust he will do an awesome job. WORST ONE WAY communication in my experience !! Requested…read morequote for power wash (with pictures). Received reply saying their normal response time was 1-2 hours. FIVE DAYS later with no response emailed them again. Got boilerplate excuse (busy season, miscommunication, blah, blah) saying I'd have a quote by email. I followed up TWO DAYS later, and got a quote with a two page list of conditions, one of which required a 50% deposit with NO COMMITMENT for date(s) the service would be provided. Also they listed credit card as an acceptable payment method but DID NOT reveal that they assessed a 3% service charge (I had to ASK in a separate communication). Cannot comment on quality of the actual service I was requesting because I declined the quotation. If they CANNOT communicate in the quotation stage, how am I supposed to trust them by just GIVING them money in advance and no commitment for the work?

We have used Handy Men and Mrs. Helper for three different projects within our house…read more They completely remodeled a laundry room and turned it into a mud room with laundry and a bathroom and it turned out beautiful. We also engaged them to remodel an office and turn it into a bedroom for my son. Hard to believe it originally was an old outdated room. Now he has the nicest bedroom in the house. We also engaged them to remodel our outdated basement and turn it into a useable space for the kids and their friends. They removed windows, replaced windows, installed a bar fridge, replaced all the flooring, repainted and updated lighting. Every weekend, the kids are down there playing with multiple friends and it was worth the cost of remodeling. I find this company to be very honest, reasonably priced and very thorough in completing all the tasks agreed upon. Their level of communication exceeds the norm for contractors and I was informed of any delays and told when people were going to be there for the work. This company is our "go to" contractor for small to medium remodeling jobs for our home and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends.

We recently completed a first floor renovation with iBuild and are exceptionally pleased with the…read moreresults. Our project included installing hardwood, all new trim and interior doors on the first floor, new windows, lofting our family room ceiling, masonry on the exterior brick and interior fire place, load bearing wall removal (including installing a 16 foot steel header beam), relocating the powder room door and a full kitchen gut - to the studs (which included plumbing, electric, etc.) We went into the project with a rough plan for the kitchen. Tony and Michelle worked with us from the start to modify the kitchen design to maximize efficiency in our space and fit our family's habits and needs. We revised and tweaked the design several times based on changes we made and recommendations from them. With each of their recommendations, they explained the "why" behind it - after designing so many kitchen spaces, they are experts and understand functionality and flow - and now that we're in our finished space, I appreciate every change they recommended. Their experience was what we needed to achieve a well-designed kitchen. Like any project, there were unknown factors until the demolition was finished and you could see what was behind the walls. And like most projects, we had a few challenges. Voytek, on Tony's team, found solutions for every problem to ensure we achieved our goals and the space was what we had envisioned. Tony made sure we did so, within budget. Our daily team included Slavic and Chris. They were respectful, easy to work with and cleaned up where they'd been working each day - we were still living in the home during the renovation so this was especially appreciated. They were able to take a photo I would send to them of a finished element - trim, a new mantle, etc - and recreate it to fit into our space, giving us a truly customized project. Their attention to detail was meticulous. Patti works in the iBuild office and was available to answer our questions, provide suggestions and help keep our project on track. She was instrumental in getting our permit and provided the dose of humor we needed to keep us sane during the renovation. She's Tony's right hand and keeps a very busy team on track. I have shared my experience and iBuild's phone number with those I know who are looking for help with their own renovation. Our house will need additional work in the future and we will be going back to iBuild for those renovations. I highly, highly recommend them.
