Don't go here. There were three employees. I seen the baffled reaction of an employee when I was up charged the 'guessed' price of $300 for a phone screen repair.. When I asked why so much they said it was the cheapest price in Kamloops. This was a blatant lie. Just imagine how they treat the elderly If they lied to me in that way. Excellent service, very fast and courteous. I would recommend and use them again.

I brought my phone in with water damage. I was told that I would have to pay a $40 plus tax nonrefundable fee up front for the water damage and that it would take about days for them to dry it out. They also told me that if they had to replace any parts then I would also for the parts, then told me that it was likely that the screen would need to be replaced. After four days I checked in with them just to see how it was going. I was told that the phone was still drying and it would probably take at least another three days. After the three days they called to ask for my passcode so that they could get into the phone. The next day I called them to see how it was going. That is when they informed me that they would in fact have to replace the screen which would cost me $100 and that I would have to pay another $100 fee for the water damage, plus labour costs. They never told me that there would be an extra fee for the water damage and certainly not an extra $100 fee. I told them that I didn't want them to fix it for that price and that I would just come up and get my phone and that is when they told me that they would give me a deal and that I could get my phone back from them after I paid them $160. My issue is that they did not inform me of all the costs up front and since I was ill informed about the total possible costs, I left my phone with them in good faith and now they are refusing to return my phone if I don't pay for services that I don't want. read more

Stupidly messed up my phone. Staff said they could fix it and they also had a new SIM card tray on hand! I was ready to tell them my sob story to hopefully get the repair done sooner so I could get back to work and they told me it would take less than an hour and if I bought the part now I'd get a deal. Awesome staff awesome speedy and friendly service. I had heard good things but had never needed to use this service but won't hesitate now and will recommend to anyone I know. read more

I had my screen repaired here, and upon leaving the store I discovered that the screen didn't respond the way that it used to and had phantom touch problems. After voicing complaint, the store manager informed me of their 90 day warranty and corrected the issue. If you have a problem with your repair, do not hesitate to reach out. I recently switched to Public mobile through kamloops cell repair for myself and subsequently 2 other friends as well . Quinn was really helpful ..did a great job with all of us. Today I popped I as I was having trouble with my bluetooth device and Quinn probably spent about a half hour trying to fix it. These guys are great! I went in around 5pm with my phone in bootloop. The staff was exceptionally friendly and super amazing to talk to. The tech had just gone home for the night but they said they would look at it the next day. When I went back the next day to pick up my phone not only was I greeted with the same amazing customer service but it only cost me $20. The phone company told me I would have to pay off the $200 I owed on the phone and I would need to buy a new one and these guys happily fixed it for $20! Definitely go to these guys! read more
