The workouts and the people are absolutely amazing :D ! I really feel like Ron (the manager) and the exceptional coaches here really want to push you to do your best :D ! They really embrace current members and new members :) ! And I really the Orangetheory family environment :D ! I have attended classes by Terrelle, Alyssa and Vicky :) ! I haven't attended classes by Jerry or Kristian. I have to admit that I can never get up early enough for Jerry's early bird morning classes! Haha :D ! But I got to meet him at Orangetheory's Happy Hour social at Chicken N Pickle :D ! I have taken Coach Vicky's classes the most because her classes fit the best with my work schedule :) ! She may be tiny. But she really is like a Tide Pod bursting with tons of energy :D ! She is really amazing and awesome with correcting my form during all of the exercises, and making sure I don't get injured :) ! If she senses that, for instance, certain dumbbells are too heavy, she will advise me to use lighter ones :) ! Overall, it's incredible how, for both the 2G and 3G classes, all of the coaches pay very close attention to all of their participants during their respective classes :) ! The 3G classes are generally larger, with a max of about 36 participants. The 2G classes are smaller, with a max of 24 participants. It's usually best to prebook your classes, whether you are taking a 2G or a 3G, just to make sure you secure a spot ;) ! Otherwise, you might get waitlisted! Some of these classes get really full really fast! I highly recommend this Orangetheory location, whether you want to get into a routine for exercise, or whether you are aiming to achieve certain goals :) ! The Orangetheory staff and family here will make your time completely worthwhile here, and you will meet a lot of amazing people :D !

If you're looking for a great personal trainer, Lenny Walls is definitely your guy!…read more Some background info, Lenny used to be in the NFL for years before moving to San Antonio and starting as a trainer years ago. He provides you with challenging, yet do-able workouts, and takes your goals and abilities into account! When I first started with him late last year, I was a bit nervous and somewhat unfamiliar with the environment (as a person who's idea of exercise was cardio prior). Lenny not only taught me how to work my way around the room filled with equipment, but also made my training sessions with him feel fun and safe. I'm able to do so much more physically now! As your personal trainer, he will also hold you accountable so you can reach your goals! He is such a motivating individual; having him as a pt will have a positive impact on your mindset! And you'll possibly gain a friend out of it too! For the results: I've lost close to 50lbs, gained a whole lot of muscle, and am just in all around better health then I was at my lowest a year ago. I feel stronger & more confident, have more energy, & somehow look forward to waking up at 5:30 am for a 6:45 workout . I'm not done yet, but excited to see what the future holds! Tldr; great personal trainer, no cons from my experience!

However, it all pales in comparison to the obnoxiously loud music playing on overhead speakers. Since many of the people working out have their own devices playing their own sounds, I am not sure what the intent of the music is.
