Beautiful bouquet for our dearest friend . Super appreciated for her willingness to deliver early (before 9am) for the service. Highly recommend!!!
Called end of day asking for an arrangement to be delivered by 9 AM next morning and Kamala delivered! The arrangement was tasteful even though I didn't specify what I wanted. She used premium flowers without cheap fillers and she didn't charge extra for the last minute order. Thank you Kamala and team. We appreciate you!
The service was great! Quality is great! Delivery was $10 to the funeral home, not bad. Ordering was quick and simple. They have a book filled with options and styles to choose from. It's ok that the colors are not the colored stargazers expected, but took off 2 stars because the amount of flowers expected was less than what's delivered, looks like 1/2 of the flowers were used compared to what was ordered for the amount that was paid, $150(flowers only). There are noticeable gaps in the frame between the flowers that we can count the flowers. The flower were not arranged as high as the one pictured either. Overall, it was nice.
I ordered a standing floral arrangement a few days ago for today's funeral for my dear friend who passed away. My mother recommended them to me a while back. I have used them a few years back for my uncle's funeral. I am so glad that I did! Their prices were very decent for the quality and quantity we were getting. The actual arrangement was more beautiful than the picture from the catalog. Staff is very friendly. Since this is a Vietnamese owned shop, it is best to pay in cash. Delivery was on par. I paid $20 extra for delivery- maybe because of the distance, but it was worth it. It was delivered half an hour before the funeral. I am very happy with the outcome, and I will definitely use them again in the future!
I am so sad to be writing this negative review, but I really want to share my experience with this place so that others are prepared and either go somewhere else or take extra precautions not to get ripped off. TL;DR: They may rip you off. Honestly just don't go here, but if you do, pay with card so you can get your money back if needed. But seriously, just don't go here. Just go somewhere that it's the same price and you get what you paid for. So before now, this was my go to place for funeral flower arrangements, but I always got the ones in the $150 range. This week, we had to buy an arrangement for someone we love dearly so we were ready to drop some $$$$$ to make sure they got what they deserved and we're welcomed into the afterlife in celebration and honor. We looked through the flower book and chose the biggest, fullest, roundest one we could find which was $250. We were ready to pay double that, so I was so happy to be able to do this for her. As we were paying, they asked if they could include some lilies, which to me meant some of the roses, orchids, and other flowers wouldn't be there, but other than that, the arrangement would still be as big, full, and the same shape. (Obviously this is where their scheme began. I know, my mistake. I'm a fool.) So we get there that day, I'm like Aw it's beautiful but I honestly can't tell the difference between this one and the $100-150 ones I've bought before which have always had the same general flowers. So what did I get with that extra $100 hmmm During down time, I was sending pics of the flowers to family who weren't there because I was there thay mặt gia đình. And I'm like wait, this looks very different from the one in the pic of what we ordered. And I put the pics side by side and I'm like, this is literally a completely different shape, waaaaaay smaller, and missing like half of the flowers. But you know, it's a funeral so gotta be chill and focus on sending bà off with good vibes. So then after, we're like yea let's call just to figure out what happened. Like maybe prices are off because of inflation or something. AND THE GIRL JUST STRAIGHT UP LIED. Grr Aight here we go: Lie #1: It's the same exact arrangement, only missing some roses. All the flowers in the original are there just hidden behind the lilies. Like lol??? I'll accept the missing roses she said the original had 72 roses and ours had 50 bc of the lilies. Yea sure we counted yea okay. But this arrangement was supposed to have like 100 orchids, and ours literally had 10. And she wants us to believe there are 80 of them hidden behind the lilies? GIRL. Were they orchid seeds bc I looked all that was back there was the green sponge stuff lol Lie #2: The reason why it's a different shape is because this new shape showcases the lilies better. Like what even? Why even bother having the menu book if you're just gonna do whatever you want. Or like just ask us before you do it! Like just say "FYI if we put the roses, it's gonna be way smaller, a different shape, and not have almost half of the flowers you see here" to which I would've said "let us pay more to have lilies AND what I see in the pic" Lie #3: the reason it looks smaller in the pic is because we are standing farther away. I don't even know how to address this lmao Yea I appreciate that maybe lilies are more expensive than roses. But I don't think that difference was enough to make up for all the differences in what we got. And the worst part of it all is that the day is over and we didn't get to honor and respect bà and her family the way we hoped. I know it doesn't matter in the grand scheme. But it was a small gesture that we wanted to do for them. So idk I wanna give them the benefit of the doubt that they genuinely made a mistake, but it really feels like they took advantage of and swindled someone during a sad and vulnerable moment.
I would recommend this flower shop to everyone I know from now on. They did such an amazing job on my grandma's sprays for her funeral. They were on time and super friendly. The best part was the flowers were fresh and it wasn't expensive at all. I was searching all over Orange County area and this place was the cheapest. They have sprays from $120-$230. They charge a delivery fee. I got it delivered to a church in Fountain Valley for only $10. They were very friendly and helpful. The sprays came out better than I expected. The flowers were all beautiful and fresh. I would definitely order from here again.
This florist makes nice looking funeral sprays. We've used them in the past for a friend's funeral and needed to use them recently for the funeral of a family friend. They have different price ranges and a book of designs to select from ranging from $100 and up. You can tell them what color combinations you want and they're very accommodating. They delivered the sprays in a timely manner and helped me with the wording on the ribbon. The store is small so nothing fancy, but they do a good job at a reasonable price. L
I needed a floral arrangement for a funeral and my mom suggested Kamala Flowers. She has been purchasing floral arrangements, specifically for funerals, from here for 5+ years, as has my family. Everyone had wonderful things to say about the beautiful flowers and punctuality in delivery. It's best to come into the shop and make the purchase as there is a menu book with available options.
My mother passed away right before Christmas and we were referred here for flowers. I have to say they did an amazing job with our large order of flowers for my mom's memorial service. It was the Monday after Christmas and they delivered a large order to the church service. The arrangements were all amazingly beautiful and well priced. I would highly recommend!!!
I rarely give a 1 star to any business but the customer service I received yesterday from here deserves it. My co-worker ordered flower for my boss here. Instructions was given: colorful, friendly, and nothing romantic. He want to give to a manager of another business that been helping him with his order. Basically he just want gerbera daisy and mum or something similar. We end up with red and pink roses mixed with gerbera daisy wrapped up in a bouquet. It look like it should be given to someone in a beauty pageant or graduation. I mean it is pretty but not what we have asked for. So we came back and ask if we can simply change out the red and pink roses for white and yellow or anthing. And also ask if it can be rearrange in a vase since this is going to someone office. The lady who was there gave us the dirty look and pulled out all the roses and handed me some old (fully bloomed and a bit crushed) yellow and white roses. I was fine with it since it was our fault for letting her did the first bouquet the way it was. I paid for the vase and asked if she was able to arrange the flower into the vase. She said, "No, she dont have time." There was no one there but US!! She could have us cut all straight and place it in the vase. Coming back to the office, we tried to do it ourselves (we are not a florist) ended up making the flower uglier than it is. My boss just end up sending edible arrangement. We wasted our time and money here. We toss the flower because no one in the office want it.

Kamala flowers did an AMAZING job on my grandmother's funeral arrangements. I decided to try them out based on their reviews (I don't live in Orange County) and was completely satisfied by what I received. I picked a picture and changed/personalized some flowers and was hoping for the best. What I received was above and beyond what I could have hoped for. They were even more beautiful in person and I kept getting SO many compliments on the arrangement. Best flowers I've received and I've been to a lot of funerals. The heart arrangement that my mother purchased also came out great. They delivered the flowers on time, came with a stand, the writing on the banner was neat. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

This is probably one of the worst places to get flowers ever! My bf and I were in a hurry to get to a graduation and we shouldn't have waited till he last minute to get flowers but we did. When we got to the place, we found a decent size bouquet and we asked one of be workers how much it was. He said it was $20. We were thinking that was a decent price for a huge bouquet (mind you that it wasn't that pretty though). When we went to go pay, the man who helped us was ringing us up. He then proceeded to ask the owner how much the bouquet was and the owner said $25. What?!?! Why would you quote is a price and then ask the owner how much he should charge?! They both got into a little minor argument about why the man would give customers a price and then ask the owner. Who does that?! We of course didn't have cash so bb had to use a card and of course he said he was going to charge is extra for using a card. Damn these Vietnamese places!!! Bf talked his way out of it and the man was nice enlighten to just charge is a flat rate of $20. When we got to the car, we noticed a lot of pollen on the white flowers. It looks so dirty but oh well! We had to get them anyways! Save yourself a trip and don't come here!! There are way prettier bouquets at your local market and it is probably cheaper too! Notes: -bring cash read more
Unfortunately, one of my relatives passed away recently. And the service was held at Peek's Memorial. This place was no where near the places I would usually get my flowers, I had to YELP for a reliable and affordable place to get funeral flowers. I would like to THANK Laura L. for her amazing review that led me to find this place :) I figure, if she trusted this place with her father's funeral, i trust her!! even though other places had more reviews! This flower shop is located in the same plaza at Teo sandwiches/Banh Mi Teo in the South East corner of Magnolia and Westminster!! :) They had regular funeral flowers starting at $60, but the price for sprays and wreaths start at $100 (which is cheaper than usual). They had a binder that had many options, with the cheapest towards the front and the most expensive ones towards the back. More money = bigger size!! I had no problem communicating with the cute lady who was working there. She was very helpful and detailed. She also gave us 'advice' on what we should put on the ribbon to make it look nice, and not too lengthy. LOL!! She's right though, I would not have thought to make the left and right note proportionate before... AND I just want to note that we made this order very LAST MINUTE (2 days before delivery) and I know they they were very busy, bu tthey did not fuss over it at all I would recommend that you BRING CASH. They do 'accept' credit cards but they would charge you a credit card-fee. so save yourself some money and just stop by the bank before hand. Another plus, they do not charge a delivery fee :) ~~~ On the day of the funeral, when we arrived many people complimented the spray we had chosen. It was very vibrant and full. We got what we wanted, if not even BETTER!! Some of the funeral guests even stopped to TAKE PICTURES with our flowers (awk, it's a funeral!! don't look so happy!!) So what I am trying to say is... it's stunning!! I definitely recommend this place for funeral flowers and perhaps other occasions as well. If I dont end up being some spinster ;) I might even consider getting my wedding flowers done here.. hahaha not-jk read more

THE BEST AND FASTEST SERVICE IN TOWN! We stopped by KAMALA FLOWERS last Saturday 7/18/20 to order flowers for funeral and scheduled for delivery on Monday 7/20/20 at 10:00 am. Surprised me, I already got an early text message on Monday morning at 8:30 with a picture attached that your flowers have already been delivered. Unbelievable, how fast and incredible service that he provided to his customers. He did a great job and kept his words. LOVE IT! It's hard to get this kind of service nowadays, you will love it! Btw, his staffs and he wore masks when we were there, very safe for this Covid pandemic. (FYI, his name is Hoang). read more

The florist/owners at Kamala flowers were so accommodating for our funeral flowers! I wanted to order 2 big wreaths for my grandmother's funeral and they were the only one I could find to deliver all the way to Pico Rivera where our service was ($15 delivery charge for both wreaths). It was already Saturday and I needed the flowers early Monday morning. One of the kids wanted a long quote written on the wreath for his grandmother and initially the florist said it was too long for him to put on the wreath so I stood there trying to find a different phrase to write on the flowers. The owner obviously seeing my struggle to find another quote said he will write the quote for me which I thought was extremely sweet of him since I know it would take him extra effort. The next day the kid had a change of heart and wanted a different phrase and I called 5pm Sunday and requested they change the writing on one of the flowers which they obliged after briefly mentioning that the florist was able to write the phrase the way I requested. They didn't fight me even though they knew it would create more work for them--for which I am extremely grateful. The flowers turned out beautiful. One of the two I had requested some custom flowers since I wanted more pink in one of the arrangements and they were so accommodating in every way. They have a vast photo book of their funeral arrangements so you have much to choose from. I highly recommend Kamala flowers and will definitely use them in the future! Definitely cheaper than American places such as FTD, Proflowers where they charge $150++ not including hefty delivery fees and Kamala flower arrangements are BIGGER than the ones other guests had sent from FTD for our grandmothers service. We've gotten flowers from Bolsa flowers in the past for a friend's funeral and they ended up making a completely different wreath than the one we ordered with flowers that weren't fresh. It was obvious Bolsa flowers just threw on whatever leftover flowers they had. So I was so glad Kamala was honest in giving us what we ordered. The arrangements were beautiful and the writing was in a beautiful red glitter which made it eloquent compared to just a black sharpie on the sash. Thank you so much Kamala! read more

I've used Kamala's Flowers in the past and I always very happy with the outcome of it! But two weeks ago my good friend passed away and we ordered a big wreath for him on Tuesday! This is for Friday delivery n it was all the way to Beaumont , CA! The owner was really sweet and nice! He accommodated to do that with a reasonable fee! However at the end we decided to do another special order for our friend! We ask the owner to do another flower arrangement for our friend! We put this order in on Thursday afternoon! ! We knew it was a late order but even though the owner said that he had a lot of other orders ahead of us but he till be able to come through it for us! N he went above n beyond to make it very beautiful for us! And delivered it on time for us as well! I'll post some pics for u guys to see and so you guys can tell that what a great job he did with the wreath and the picture! Please excuse me because I faded out my friend pic in the pic frame! Thank you very much again Anh Hoang( owner) you have made it special for all of us!!! read more

Bring CASH with you and she might just cut you a deal! Don't waste your time going to other places for flowers. I went to at least 3 different places in the area before coming here and not one had a good arrangement ready to go. This place did and I'm glad I stopped here. This location is in a shopping center. I came on a Sunday at around 5:30pm and they were open for business. When I went in, I saw that they had a good variety of flowers available for sale with different price points. The flower arrangements were a great deal and came with a little vase. The best part was that they were ready to go and take to that special someone. The lady working there was nice, but it was a little tough to understand her, but not impossible. She cut me a deal for paying in cash, so if you bring cash she might or might not cut you deal. Maybe she just liked me. read more
