But when I really needed a bouquet for my friend's birthday in a pinch, I stumbled on Magnolia Florist through sheer distance. I called and was blessed to have met Marcy and Brittany! (I'm sorry if I spelled their names wrong... I SWEAR I love you guys!) But it seemed like every single time I needed a hand bouquet or floral arrangement for any occasion, not only were they able to accommodate last minute needs, but they put together some of the most beautiful and stunning arrangements I've been able to gift to others. I specifically needed a special arrangement for Lunar New Year and I called Marcy and she put together a spectacular arrangement that not only stunned the recipient, but stole the show in terms of gifts that this party received. So many times now, I had every person I've gifted flowers to ask me where I get these arrangements, and a big part of me wants to gate-keep this shop because I love this special little secret that I have. But then I thought that with the amount of care and love that Marcy and her daughter Britt puts into these floral arrangements for me, I wanted a space to show off and give these ladies their flowers (pun intended) :) A huge reason why I am writing this review is because Yelp was where I found this special place, and in reading some of the negative reviews, I needed to speak my peace in terms of how Marcy and Magnolia Florist has helped me in so many ways. In any occasion, I was able to call, let them know what I'm looking for, my budget, and when I'm picking up, and they have never ever let me down. These arrangements I've added to the review are only SOME of the flowers I've been blessed in gifting to others. Marcy is someone that prides herself on quality, honesty, and experience. Those are the qualities that not only make her someone you can trust with any occasion, but in someone that you can go to when you need to make someone else's day brighter. So, although I can't gate-keep this floral shop forever, I wanted to say to Marcy, Britt, and the rest of the family that helps Magnolia Florist remain so magical, that you all have helped me in so many ways. The walk in fridge is large and full of completed arrangements as well as every colored flowers in buckets of water. They also sell potted plants, pots and the equipment for all things floral. My friend who does housekeeping was ecstatic to find a spray that makes leafs shiny. This isn't a formal shop. It's a warehouse full of flora and ware. I called the listed number and spoke with someone named Carlos, who informed me that an employee would arrive shortly and that she should be there within five minutes. I was understanding at the time, especially since I was already running late. Unfortunately, by 9:45 AM no one had arrived. I became increasingly anxious, as I was on my way to my cousin's funeral in Sylmar and was coming from Westminster. Being forced to wait an additional 30 minutes was extremely frustrating given the circumstances. When I attempted to call Carlos again for an update, my calls were no longer being answered. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of apology or effort to acknowledge the inconvenience. There was no attempt at customer service or reconciliation despite the situation. I also paid $136 for the arrangement when I was initially quoted $125, which I did not mind at the time because I had previously enjoyed purchasing flowers here and had only positive experiences in the past. Today was different. The lack of communication, accountability, and empathy resulted in me arriving late to my family's service. Given the nature of the occasion, this was especially upsetting. I am truly disappointed in how this situation was handled.

It cost $35 per person which I felt was very fair given that they provided a matcha drink as well as two activities (painting the cup sleeve and floral arrangement). Keep in mind for this particular activity you have to buy tickets for as they only hold it on certain weekends. When you walk in, the staff explains how to collect your materials for the floral arrangement and walks you over to the matcha station where they whisk it fresh for you once you order.
