A good friend who lives in Soldotna took me to have lunch at Kamakani Kitchen, located at 610 Attla Way, Kenai, AK. (541) 515-0820. This place is OFF The HOOK!!! It's a small place run by a wonderful Hawaiian woman who doesn't use any recipes, just fresh-caught Alaskan fish, an incredible imagination, and amazing, talented cooking skills from her Hawaiian roots. Today I had a fresh teriyaki grilled halibut Watermelon poke bowl... yup! One bite and the favors were, well... Best place to get poke on the Peninsula! Normally I stick to her mix bowls, but the rotating specials are phenomenal. read more

The most original menu made with the best ingredients can be found here in Kenai. The watermelon and tuna poke bowl is both refreshing and filling. Come early to get the daily specials. The chef /owner Rhi will make sure you have a great meal. We enjoyed the music and the Mooseubi read more
