She removed a fibroid from my uterus via open Myomectomy and she was so comforting about it. I had a bad nurse and nurses aid who I yelled at because they were rude and I was in pain and I was having a bad reaction to the pain meds, dr ramar took care of it right away and switched my meds and I immediately felt better! I slept that night and was able to leave the following day. I apologized for being rude to her staff and explained what had happened and she wasn't mad at me at all. She is so awesome and I give her more then 5 stars! I felt so safe in her hands. I strongly recommend this office.

The receptionist really took the time to listen to me and never once made me feel ashamed or embarrassed. The Dr. was very informative and made sure I fully understood what was going to happen before, during and after the procedure. I paid extra for the twilight sedation and it was worth every penny! I hardly felt a thing and was sooo relaxed. I want to recovery and the Registered Nurse took very good care of me & was very friendly ( She even gave me a choice of cookies and juice!) My husband came with me and he said the dr came out and talked to him. The Dr. made sure my husband understood what care I needed when I got home. I don't normally write reviews but when the office called to check on me a few days later to see how I was and again, took the time to really talk to me I felt it was my duty to inform all the women (young ladies) that might be going through the same thing to go to the Woman's centers you will be treated with respect and dignity. I would rate zero stars if I could. I hadn't even made it to the office to meet any providers recommended to me by my PCP, who told me at the time the doctor was the best in the area and specialized in the field . I had almost forgotten to leave my honest review this week but I believe it deserves to be said that after playing phone tag for three days, having my appointment rescheduled with out my permission or confirmation I had to beg to speak to the office manager Lisa-who is about as condescending as the people who work for her. What is best for the scheduling staff is what dictates when you will be seen and who you will be seeing for any life threatening procedures. Luckily after letting my general physician know of how I had been treated, I was able to a schedule to meet with a qualified surgeon who likely has less years of experience but is readily available to meet with someone who according to Lisa, doesn't present enough of an emergency for the surgeon to consult with. Lisa and her staff prevented me from meeting with Dr.McIntosh and his esteemed colleague Dr.Martinovski. When I worked as an assistant in a providers office back when I was in my early twenties, telling a patient that they will be seen when it is 'best for the office staff' or dictating who and when they should see the doctor...would get me fired on the spot. These providers happen to be surgeons and provide life saving care for the local community and based on a few bad interactions with their dispensable staff likely drives business away and mars the rapport between patients and practice. I can't imagine how disorganized the clerical staff is after having experienced their sheer disregard for my health. Who's to know how the quality of medical care will be?If you have blue care network ppo or hmo I implore you to not be discouraged - don't play phone tag and make sure you shop around. There are other practices who hire lots of better quality staff to consult with in the area. To who it may concern, I'm going to be alright thank goodness as someone who needed this procedure done soon - I will be meeting with a surgeon soon! No thanks to James, Lisa or Marina. Go ahead and try to sched an appt - the staff won't soon improve the quality of customer service they provide and I can only imagine what billing services is like after the fact.

She is extremely intelligent, compassionate, caring, and truly an outstanding doctor. It doesn't stop there, while I was pregnant with my second child I experienced a complicated migraine which landed me in hospital. Not only did Dr. Wuckert visit my bedside she continued to follow up with me through delivery and post delivery. Her patience listening and providing guidance is what you want as a patient. She's absolutely amazing and I'm glad to call her my Doctor. The appointments at this office are pretty spot on and I love the fact that I don't have to wait long to see my doctor. If you're looking for a new ObGyn, you should certainly give MissionObGyn a try.

I was just in the midst of changing insurance when I was scheduling my first appointment. They said they wanted to see me at exactly 9 weeks to do important blood work/ check on things. I asked if we could delay by a few days by which time my new insurance would be in place and I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket. They put pressure on me and told me timing was very important so I caved. They're the experts, right? I later got a bill for over $650. What couldn't wait? A standard blood panel and a tox screen. Red flag #1, I just didn't have the bill yet. My very first appointment I saw one of the doctors and then had a one on one with the head nurse. She asked a lot of questions and I was 100% honest with her. Why wouldn't I be? I told her I was on Wellbutrin and she started lecturing and shaming me so intensely I quit cold turkey. She asked about any history of drug use and I was transparent about using marijuana in the past, before my IVF journey. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I DIDN'T KNOW: Evidentially any admission of drug use at any time in your life allows them, without informing you or receiving your consent, to continue drug testing you throughout your pregnancy. Just an extra charge, right? All the visits were pleasant with the doctors. I remember my last appointment before my C-section was primarily me finding out what everyone's favorite foods were so I could cater a thank you lunch and everyone wished me well. I gave birth not long after. Less than 24hrs later a nurse at the hospital told me a nurse from Mission OBGYN sent over a tox screen in which I showed positive for drugs and she wasn't sure if I would be allowed to go home with my kids. I had the worst dissociative panic attack of my life. My husband was desperately trying to get in touch with any of the several practitioners. He was told they would call back, then he was told they were all in a meeting. They kept blowing him off. They never took his calls. They never came. They abandoned me. The same doctors that took at least a half a dozen phone calls from me early in my pregnancy when I was getting fevers from my progesterone suppositories and agonizing over taking so much as Tylenol now refused to see me or pick up the phone. What was I positive for? One test about 10 days before giving birth for opioids. This is the first time I was aware they had been drug testing me. I told the truth again: I had not taken any opioids. Social workers and nurses judgmentally insisted there was only one possible explanation but I had not taken any opioids. I was panicked and scared and confused. It took me almost a year later to realize.... poppy seeds. I was obsessed. Poppy seed bagels, lemon poppy seed muffins, everything bagels and everything bread and eating them all by the ton especially toward the end of my pregnancy. I was never contacted again by any of the doctors or staff. In fact, they sent a doctor I never met from another practice to tell me she was taking over my care. That's the short version. I was a good patient. I was honest. When I was in desperate need of support they disappeared. I experienced one of the most beautiful moments of my life and before I could even take it in I thought my children would be taken from me. It's taken me over 5 years to write this because it's all still so raw. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. They stole the most precious moments of my life from me and my babies

I would recommend them to anybody who has to go through this difficult time. They have multiple pain and sedative options, and i felt i was in great hands.
