I have been going here since 1980 and a Dr. Rosenberg has been my doctor almost 30 years. They used to take walk-ins only but now I believe its only by appointment. You can get your prescription filled, have xrays, and EKG and allergy test and do many other tests all in one location making this a true one-stop shop. With this capability the doctor is able to make a diagnosis immediately in some cases. I truly love this place. Quite honestly this is the only place that I trust! Dr. Rosenberg is my favorite. He takes his time to explain things, listens well and is compassionate and caring. He really cares about his patients and all the staff. You can tell by the way he interacts with his coworkers that they truly respect him. Over the years I've had many encounters with him and the staff at Macomb Medical which were all good and sometimes even hilarious. I left my wedding ring in the bathroom once and called the office. There was no waiting on the phone line, immediately the staff put me on hold, stopped what they were doing and looked for my ring. It was a very scary time for me but I was definitely supported by the staff. I remember another time a couple years ago when I came to the office for something else but Dr. Rosenburg discovered I had an infection. I didn't feel or see anything so I decided not to take the antibiotics he prescribed. Sure enough, four days later I felt it. Today my appointment was at 8am and I was there for 2 hours...and no...I was not waiting like you would at most places. Dr. Rosenberg and his nurse took their time to find out what was wrong with me. I have nothing negative to say about this place and I would give it a 10 star if I could.

I don't like being ill, which I am a lot, but I enjoy going to see Dr. Rosenberg when I am. I am very comfortable in his presence and genuinely like the man. He listens to my concerns, and has me on a regimen of medications that have my asthma and COPD under control, along with various heart issues. If he's not available for an appointment, his PAC's usually can see me same day, and he's been known to see me during his lunch hour. I can't say enough good about Dr. R and his office staff, which has had a nearly complete turnover in the past few years, all for the better. Highly recommend!

I went to a drive thru urgent care to get a Covid test and they tried to charge me $140 since I have no insurance, so I left. Welcome to Berkley urgent care! I was recommended here by a friend and wow when I tell you how different his phone call felt. I called about a test and they took down all my information and said they would call me back about details. I wasn't charged a penny for my Covid test and my medicine was pretty cheap. There are angels here. I highly recommend.

Update: This is no longer my go-to urgent care. I'm not sure if management has changed, but the NP…read moreI saw on Saturday handled a visit that should have been addressed differently. I called today after reviewing my results because the test I requested was not performed. I was open to discussing it, but that didn't seem to be the case on her end. I explained that the vitamin D test drawn was not the correct one for checking deficiency--it was done correctly during my visit in 2025. She insisted it was the same test and even stated that the system we were both looking at showed the same thing, as if I did not understand what I was reviewing. However, the system clearly shows otherwise. The test that was ordered was for hormone/active vitamin D levels, not for deficiency. If this is a small mistake--and I understand that mistakes can happen--the issue for me is that there was no willingness to acknowledge or correct it. There was also no consideration that the lab itself may have made an error. It took from Saturday to Tuesday just to receive the result of one blood test. After working a 12-hour shift, I came in because I had already been told the wrong test was done. While I understand other patients need care and didn't mind waiting, I was ultimately ignored instead of having a simple conversation to address the issue. After some time, I decided to leave and go to another urgent care for more attentive and thorough treatment. These are not the same tests--they measure different forms of vitamin D--and it was frustrating to be told otherwise. Update: Hours later, I received multiple calls from the office--none from the NP I originally saw. While I was told the issue was due to the lab switching their codes, there was still no acknowledgment of how the situation was handled. Even if this was a lab-related error, it does not address the provider's lack of listening or willingness to consider that the information in the system may not have matched what she believed. I was told we were both looking at the same thing, despite pointing out clear differences. Beaumont has been Corewell, including their labs, for at least two years now, so that explanation raises additional questions. Regardless, my concern is not just about where the error originated, but the lack of accountability and communication. I would prefer not to receive repeated calls providing conflicting or inaccurate information, especially when there has been no acknowledgment of the initial concern. At this point, I have gone and received care elsewhere.
