After years of IVF I finally got pregnant with twins ('20/ '21). I asked what the best all women's practice was and RMA pointed me to Mission OBGYN. I was just in the midst of changing insurance when I was scheduling my first appointment. They said they wanted to see me at exactly 9 weeks to do important blood work/ check on things. I asked if we could delay by a few days by which time my new insurance would be in place and I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket. They put pressure on me and told me timing was very important so I caved. They're the experts, right? I later got a bill for over $650. What couldn't wait? A standard blood panel and a tox screen. Red flag #1, I just didn't have the bill yet. My very first appointment I saw one of the doctors and then had a one on one with the head nurse. She asked a lot of questions and I was 100% honest with her. Why wouldn't I be? I told her I was on Wellbutrin and she started lecturing and shaming me so intensely I quit cold turkey. She asked about any history of drug use and I was transparent about using marijuana in the past, before my IVF journey. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I DIDN'T KNOW: Evidentially any admission of drug use at any time in your life allows them, without informing you or receiving your consent, to continue drug testing you throughout your pregnancy. Just an extra charge, right? All the visits were pleasant with the doctors. I remember my last appointment before my C-section was primarily me finding out what everyone's favorite foods were so I could cater a thank you lunch and everyone wished me well. I gave birth not long after. Less than 24hrs later a nurse at the hospital told me a nurse from Mission OBGYN sent over a tox screen in which I showed positive for drugs and she wasn't sure if I would be allowed to go home with my kids. I had the worst dissociative panic attack of my life. My husband was desperately trying to get in touch with any of the several practitioners. He was told they would call back, then he was told they were all in a meeting. They kept blowing him off. They never took his calls. They never came. They abandoned me. The same doctors that took at least a half a dozen phone calls from me early in my pregnancy when I was getting fevers from my progesterone suppositories and agonizing over taking so much as Tylenol now refused to see me or pick up the phone. What was I positive for? One test about 10 days before giving birth for opioids. This is the first time I was aware they had been drug testing me. I told the truth again: I had not taken any opioids. Social workers and nurses judgmentally insisted there was only one possible explanation but I had not taken any opioids. I was panicked and scared and confused. It took me almost a year later to realize.... poppy seeds. I was obsessed. Poppy seed bagels, lemon poppy seed muffins, everything bagels and everything bread and eating them all by the ton especially toward the end of my pregnancy. I was never contacted again by any of the doctors or staff. In fact, they sent a doctor I never met from another practice to tell me she was taking over my care. That's the short version. I was a good patient. I was honest. When I was in desperate need of support they disappeared. I experienced one of the most beautiful moments of my life and before I could even take it in I thought my children would be taken from me. It's taken me over 5 years to write this because it's all still so raw. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. They stole the most precious moments of my life from me and my babies read more

Great group of doctors! I was able to schedule an appointment right away and didn't have too long in the waiting and exam room.

My girlfriend went in for a appointment today and it took so long to be seen that she missed her other doctors appointment that was 3 hours later and all they could say for her issue was she's not pregnant come back in a few weeks and we will check it out. That really solves I'm glad we spend our money there read more

The office experience was horrible. I met Dr. Wuckert one time and she was so polite and attentive! For the office staff Tracy, and The office manager Stephanie.. very rude and snooty. Because I canceled my appointment Jan. 24th 2024, and than went to my Anatomy Scan ordered by Dr Wuckert, I was told I could not get a prenatal fill bc I canceled my last appointment and haven't made a follow up appointment after my anatomy scan April 1st 2024. I am in disbelief and was so upsetting by the treatment by Staff - I was left in tears! The last Stephanie called me and lied saying she heard me cursing, which I was not raising my voice nor was I cursing. I asked to make an appointment and she said when I canceled Jan. 24th- I also said I wasn't coming back. which is the big lie here. The staff will ruin that place. Hope they look into my complaint I submitted! -one star for great treatment from Dr Wuckert! It is also very upsetting to be questioned by office staff why I haven't made an appointment etc., Saying that was against policy! Stephanie wasn't letting me get a word in and talked over me the whole time! She was not compassionate or understanding! Very very rude. read more

I saw Dr. Mcgrail for a few years and I wanted to be tested for pcos and she told me even if I did have pcos they wouldn't do anything for me anyways. So I didn't go back because that's very unhelpful. read more

Highly recommend this facility. I've been twice, and I felt extremely comfortable with the all women staff and doctors. Very easy to make an appointment, need to sched ahead but was able to fit something within 2 wks. Great covid measures. I will continue care here. read more

This is my first baby and all I keep having is problem after problem with appointments and pretty much just having so much stuff thrown on me to do by myself that everything is getting hard to juggle I can't ever remember who gave me what bc there is like 4-6 doctors so it's never the same when I go in. Don't recommend bc of the chaos some of the doctors are super sweet but the chaos is not for me. read more

Dr. Wuckert is by far the best ObGyn doctor I have ever met and nothing I can say really does her justice. She is extremely intelligent, compassionate, caring, and truly an outstanding doctor. It doesn't stop there, while I was pregnant with my second child I experienced a complicated migraine which landed me in hospital. Not only did Dr. Wuckert visit my bedside she continued to follow up with me through delivery and post delivery. Her patience listening and providing guidance is what you want as a patient. She's absolutely amazing and I'm glad to call her my Doctor. The appointments at this office are pretty spot on and I love the fact that I don't have to wait long to see my doctor. If you're looking for a new ObGyn, you should certainly give MissionObGyn a try. read more

Dr. Palluda and the whole OBGYN team is amazing. They took and amazing care of me. Dr.Palluda preformed a c-section on me. It's not my first c-section, first with Dr. Palluda. She took care of my old scars so I am not in pain anymore. Everything is healing great. She is very good. Very knowledgeable and loves what she does. I wish there were more Dr like her. read more

Working with this office on my second pregnancy and have nothing but amazing reviews. Not only did Dr. Wuckert help us get pregnant the first time around but each doctor was so patient and answered all of my questions. I was nervous when I had to be induced and Dr. McGrail was on duty just because I hadn't seen her more than the others. But it was a fantastic experience and she is one of my faves! To the point! Which what I like. This time around I have had some complications and the doctors are amazing. Dr. Bayci has been exceptional in delivering explanations while she helps me navigate these new issues. Joanne has also been helpful! I may test her patience when I don't send what's needed right away :) but I know she forgives me. Everyone in this office has your best interest at heart and I can't say good enough things from check in- all the way to end of appt scheduling. I highly recommend this team of professionals. I've been going to Mission OB/GYN for about 26 years. I originally saw Dr. Hartmann, who took excellent care of me, until she retired. I now see Dr. Pokropek, whom I absolutely adore. She is so kind, knowledgeable, takes her time and answers all questions. She has even, personally, called to follow up and check on how I was doing after a surgery she performed. First time that's happened to me! I've seen the other doctors on staff when mine wasn't available and can highly recommend all of them. The office staff is wonderful, too! read more

When I made my last visit at Mission OB, there were three doctors on staff. Dr. Paluda, Dr. Wuckert, and Dr. McGrail. Dr. Paluda and Dr. Wuckert were kind, compassionate, attentive, and everything you'd want from a doctor when you're expecting your first baby. And then there's Dr. McGrail. In she walks with her gnarly dreadlocks smelling like big dogs and distain for everyone -- I love dogs, too, but come on, lady. She was short and impatient at every visit, and she makes patients feel like they're an inconvenience. Don't believe me? Check her out on ratemds.com. Each visit throughout my pregnancy with her made me feel less and less confident in the care I received. It wasn't until postpartum hit me hard after my baby that I realized how much this doctor lacks bedside manner. I was looking for some comfort and answers, and she gave me one treatment option and insisted that it was the only option -- a medication that was deemed unsafe for nursing. She told me it would most likely make my newborn somewhat sedated, but she insisted that I keep breastfeeding while taking this medication because the benefits of breastfeeding outweighed the risks of the medication. When I asked what my other options were because I wasn't comfortable with her suggestion, she got nasty and said, "It's either this, or you're on a downward spiral" and walked out of the room. I later met with the office nurse, Joanne, who was little help. She was often patronizing, even the one time I called about dizzy spells she said, "You need to look at page 36 of the handbook that I gave you before calling next time." Excuse me? This was my first pregnancy, and I passed out at work. I felt like telling her exactly where to stick that handbook. At this point, I was distraught and felt like I had no where to turn. Until I met with Dr. Wuckert. She held my hand, she hugged me, she told me it would get better, and she told me her own personal stories of raising newborns. It felt like she shined a warm light directly onto my heart. She recommended a safer medication that's quite common for nursing mothers to take, and it helped me almost immediately. She called to check on me a week later, and I will forever hold a place in my heart for her knowledge, guidance, and for the love she showed to me. However, because of Dr. McGrail, I chose to switch practices and am elated with my decision. I've since went on to have two more babies and have enjoyed going to visits at my new practice without the bleak anxiety of the dreaded Dr. McGrail prenatal appointments. read more

This office is terrible Jo Ann is absolutely awful she is racist and violated numerous hippa and civil rights of mine. She discharged me from the office during a high risk pregnancy for me leaves voicemail telling her it's upsetting how she keeps putting errors in my medical chart. The clinic manager agreed with her they told me they didn't care I was autistic & told me to get off their property after they invited me back to the patient room. Jo Ann told me she didn't like me since I was 16 when this has been my first time back in years because I moved. I wish I could've spoke to the doctor they are awful. Jo Ann even called my other doctors office which she had no permission to do & told them I will no longer need appointments from that office which canceled all my high risk appointments. Beware people with disabilities who are of color on Medicaid they will treat you less of a person. This is now a legal matter! read more

Love this office! Very friendly and knowledgeable doctors and nurses. All the doctors are on the younger side which as a woman in my mid 30s made me feel very comfortable. I was recommended to go to Mission by my highly-rated PCP. However, in my first appointment, the doctor (Dr. McGrail) not only disregarded my family history and genetic testing results, but decided that "birth control pills don't work for me" (I've been on them for over 10 years and was describing new pain), never did an ultrasound even though she said she would, tried to convince me to do alternative contraceptive options I repeatedly told her I was not interested in. She ultimately took me off birth control pills to "try" an endometriosis medicine (again, no interest in an actual laparoscopy or ultrasound), and gave me a two week supply. After, it took weeks and multiple phone calls to try to get a script sent to my pharmacy. Come to find out weeks later this "new medicine" will cost me over $1k a month. I called and asked for different pill options. It took them over a month to bother to get back to me... to schedule a non-pill option that I previously adamantly rejected. After another week or two, they call me to "schedule a telehealth" to "go over my options". This ended up being exactly 2 months after my first and last appointment. They also still have yet to tell me about my PAP results from that appointment 2 months ago. The cherry on top was when the receptionist called me an abomination of my name, then magically got it perfect the second time. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE read more
