She has always been friendly and attentive and makes me feel like her only patient. She takes time to re-familiarize herself with my medical history before seeing me. She asks good questions and listens to what I have to say. She is always happy to explain things, and she is easy to understand. She loved the food which oftentimes was homemade. She did not do a lot of the activities but they have a ton to do and have a happy hour on friday's with music. The head of nursing and the staff work hard to care for all the patients and consistently monitored my mom. I was impressed with them and they kept in good communication with me about my Mom's medical status. The therapy group is the best. My mom always looked forward to the team in therapy. She had therapy most days and I know that kept her moving forward. They give homework for her to do on her own as well and helped her organize her room so it was functional given her abilities. My mom had good years at Greenleaf and I felt she was somewhere safe and reliable. I would highly recommend the facility for skill nursing.

I had 2 previous laminectomies performed by the same IU neurosurgery professor. Shortly after being…read moresent here for physical therapy on the stretch table by my pain doctor, my surgeon considered the efficacy of a 3rd laminectomy. I told the owner that my surgeon needs to be part of care coordination and that i need to pause the next session to get his feedback. The owner was having none of it and demanded that i continue regardless. He fired me via text that day and texted once again that evening, telling me to never return. Understand there were no harsh words and i found his unwillingness to coordinate care disturbing. Concerns were valid since my surgeon prohibited stretch table therapy around the surgery date and weeks thereafter. I had a 3rd laminectomy, 5wks in a walker, 2wks in a cane, subsequent physical therapy elsewhere. Surgeon says it takes a full year to heal my motor nerve damage. Consider all aspects of physical therapy including a firm's willingness to work with multiple healthcare providers. I cannot recommend this firm if you are working with more than 1.
