Specialties
Kajukenbo is a "blend" of five styles of martial arts: karate, judo, jiu-jitsu, kenpo and kung fu, making it America's first true mixed martial art. As Kaju AZ instructors like to say, it uses what works and discards the rest. This is why it can offer such diverse material to students of all ages and abilities.
Kaju AZ's programs help students become their best in all aspects of life. Starting at age five, students learn focus, manners and respect, character development, improved listening skills and broader attention span. Junior students focus on self-defense, goal setting, sportsmanship, respect of others and self, leadership and the Powerful Words Program to expand on an emotional and psychological level. Lastly, adult programs better overall fitness levels, reduce stress and increase stamina in a positive environment. Classes include Self Defense, CrossPIT Fitness Conditioning, Boot Camp, MMA, Hula and more. Families that train together connect connect on a different level.

Meet the Business Owner: Sigung Kelly C.
Sigung Kelly Corder realized a childhood ambition and began training in 1993. He received his basic training in Hawaiian Kenpo Karate under the Grandmaster George Lim and continued to work with many great masters, including Grandmaster Allen Abad, Professor Sal Banuelos, and most recently Kumu John Hackleman, who awarded Sigung a PIT Black Belt.
Sigung Kelly's training philosophy is simple: always give more than you get. To Sigung, a 7th degree black belt, training is a lifelong pursuit and he is always working to improve his skills. He won a Gold Medal in his age and weight division at the Pan Nationals Tournament in 2010 and was honored to be inducted in the Kenpo Hall of Fame in August 2011 at Tracy's Gathering of Eagles.
Sigung Kelly is also involved with the Boy Scouts of America and regularly teaches Self-Defense Seminars at Kaju AZ, schools, scout and church groups. This is a realization of his mission to help our communities stay safe.
